Taking Pill questions

Today is day two for me and I was doing some reading yestarday about how you can't eat before or after taking it. but can you drink water.. and is it a minimium of 1 hour after or can you eat right at the 1 hour mark.

I got 75 minutes of walking in yestarday, I could have walked a lot longer, my two year old was just tired of being in the stroller.

You should take it around 1-2 hours before you eat or 2 hours after eating..I always wait 2 hours because your stomach needs to be empty in order for phen to absorb correctly.

Can I drink water during that time?

Oh yes drink at least 8 oz when taking phen and then keep drinking all day! half your weight in oz of water a day!

Thanks - I figured as much, but wanted to make sure... I have been working on the water.. but for me it is a LOT of water but I am getting there...

when i went for my consultation in early may, my doctor said eat a light lunch and right after take the pill. and it works your not even hungry all day long....
drink water throughout the day. i could never take the pill before eating it works effectively fast for me. thats why my doctor says after cause he wants something in your the tummy.....

But in order for work to its full potential your not supposed to have anything in your stomach...at all..just empty..it wont absorb right if you add food to it..besides that most of us take it in the morning after we get out of bed so we can sleep at night. I know that most ppl who take it with food will either get sick or be really hungry in a few hours..I took it after eating before on accident and I felt so sick to my stomach.

i take it with or without food, whenever i remember it really. It doesn't seem to make a difference for me. I usually take it just before or just after lunch and that works best for me because i get hungry in the afternoon and evenings.

I used to take mine about 8:00 am and then eat about 9 or 9:30 even though I wasnt hungry. Now I eat about 8:00 and take the pill around 9 or 9:30. Both ways worked, I just notice it is a little more effective for me if I take it later in the day.

So I tried something new this morning and it worked pretty good. I usually need to eat soon after I get up, or I get bad headaches. So I woke up about 2 hours before my normal eating time, took my pill and water and went back to bed for an hour, then by the time I got up showered got dressed and got to work it had been 2 hours and I could eat. I don't require a lot of sleep and I am very light sleeper so the taking the pill and going back to bed didn't bother me too much. I will try this again tomorrow and see how it goes.... I think the caffiene headache is finally subsidding a little...

Day Day 3 for me and we are off to a good start... down a little over 3 pounds,
