I am on my first day, and although I am not hungry in the slightest... I have this strong "desire" to have a snack.. something that is as much a part of my life as breathing.. I am a really bad snacker.. and I know I can change what I eat and all that.. I just wondered will these feelings decrease after time...
thanks

Wow, I know exactly what you mean. I have been on phen 2 weeks tomorrow, and yes I have a "strong desire" sometimes for a snack..from habit I'm sure because I rarely am hungry at that time. I will say though that the good news is that since I started I have not had snacks or anything except sugar free hotchoc after my dinner meal, I'm just not hungry. I split my phen in half, one half 2 hours after breakfast and the other around 2pm. I know me and if I start having snacks I'm done. One of my worst habits was an 8pm snack when I gave my patients at work their snack and meds at 8pm. If I ever am absolutely hungry I would have to eat something like a veggie or a fruit. My triggers have always been ice cream or carb snacks like chips, cheese curls, anything that crunches. Hope that helps..and Welcome!

Sandi - where in Michigan are you at.. I grew up in Michigan, first in the Detroit area and then in the Traverse City area..
It was better after I got past the 3 o'clock hour and I was hardly hungry at dinner tonight...
