Hello!
My name is Jessica, or Jessie. I am 21 years old and have been having troubles with my weight for a few years now. I went to the Doctor yesterday, Friday. She weighed me and I about fell over since my scale at home was pretty much lieing to me! Hahaha. I am 7lbs shy of where I used to be at my heaviest(217) that I've ever been. Not a good day for me, at all. I told her the struggles that I have been having to lose even just 1-2lbs and she says "We can do something about that." & prescribed Phentermine. I filled it, and today I took my first pill at Noon. It is now just after 10:00pm and I still feel a little bit on the hyper-side but it is slowly tapering off. An hour after I took it, I was in the middle of eating lunch, halfway through I had no more appetite and didn't finish. Then I got this nice burst of energy that had me bouncing and singing along to music in my car while driving. Hmmm... not bad, I'm thinking. haha

So, no weightloss to talk about in here. I did have a quesiton, though. Am I going to have to make myself eat?? I feel no hunger, whatsoever. I made myself open up a little snack pack [1oz] of peanuts and I'm somewhat picking at that but I really am not in the mood to eat anything. My doctor told me that the pill will wear off by the time I get home from work, which is 11:30-ish and I'm hoping that by the time I get home I'm not wanting to stuff my face. lol

Anyways, if anyone has some tips that would be wonderful! I've been reading everyone's posts, and looking at pictures of peoples' changes in weight, etc. I am really excited!!! I'm sure I will have to get some Before pictures up, but I'm still contemplating on that.. hah

Welcome....Iv'e just started on the pills myself too. I took them about a yr ago for a few months, lost 20lbs then stopped taking them:-( I shouldve kept with it , but it was getting expensive and I was at a standstill, Hopefully things will be different this time as I intend to exercise....yay! You will need to force yourself to eat, at least during the day, I notice I get a little hungry at night (bad time though). keep with it and share your thoughts this is a great website for that.......and drink lots and lots of WATER!!! I make myself drink it bc I'm not a water drinker, but I'm begining to like it...lol
