I have been having a lot of back, neck and shoulder pain and thought my spine was messed up. Went to my Dr. and a chiropractor and neither could find any problems. I read some articles that showed where other phen users were having the same problem. If you did please tell me about it.... did the pain go away when you quit using phen. I have gone off for about two weeks and still have the pain. I have been on it for 2 months and have lost almost 30 pounds.

I totally agree with you...the back of my neck feels all hot and painfull.. and spreads out to my shoulders.. I am certin it is from the pills. I wonder if it releases some type of fluid down the spinal colom.. I am obvi not a doctor. And no one on this site is..lol So, just cause others havent had that side effect..dosent mean it does not exist! lol

Im on like day 4 of this med.. I am not sure yet if all the side effects are worth rapid weight loss.. Im still deciding.. How are ou doing with it?

I think it's just simple muscle tension caused by the stiumlant. I have it too.

I just started Phentermine today too. And I'm having a stiff neck too. I hope this is not going to be a regular thing.

Have you tried PhoneConsultation.com? Way back in my high school days, I have the same problem as yours. As I was surfing the net, this website came across. I've used this for my pain meds, they deliver within 3 days and I found them great.

I have been having the same thing, stiff neck, and I too think spinal fluid is leaking. I asked my doctor he did not seem to worry, and said it was nothing. my jaw hurts too!!!!

Sorry, I haven't had any of those and I've been on phen for almost 2 months now. From what I've read most of the side effects got better with drinking more water.

I agree that it could be tension from the stimulants, and in that case I would drink more water and workout. I do feel a little "high strung" at times, I guess that could be tension. When I feel like that I try to get active, b/c working out is a good way to relax.

I've been on it since September and I noticed in the first half of that time my back ached horribly, it was hard to even sit still it hurt so bad. I also was very concerned, read about the water part, and I began upping my water intake. I try to drink at least a gallon a day and I do think that the more water I drank the less pain I had. Now I rarely have aches, but maybe the medicine does cause some muscle tightness with the increased blood pressure/anxiety feelings etc. Try drinking a ton of water and see if it helps.

I too have experienced neck pains. I keep wanting to pop my neck, hoping it takes the pain away but it just makes it worse! It's almost like you slept funny or something. I have TMJ and noticed my jaws have been hurting since I have been on the med, so I suspected I have been grinding my teeth alot more at night. I started wearing my retainers again and that has seemed to help my jaws and the tension in my neck. I go back to the Doctor on the 13th and I am going to ask him about the neck thing, but I suspect it is, like someone else mentioned, just tightening of the muscles. My back has not hurt or anything though, just my neck/top of shoulders.
