well today is 1 week of phen. i am down 7lbs. i lost 3 before phen. so a total of 10lbs.it has been of frustrating week let me tell you.i had a hard time staying away from the scales and i need to cause if i don't see it move i get very frustrated.i almost gave up last night after a week.ridiculous i know, but i(this will sound dumb)gave myself a talk and said jessica you use to weigh 206,a 2 lbs loss would still be a good one.
but anyways sorry to ramble,i'm just excited i am down 10 lbs.not much of a notice yet but gotta give it time.

the best of luck to everyone else and hope you succeed your goals.

WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!

That's great! I have the same problem, I want to weigh everyday and if there is no change or it goes up a little I freak and get discouraged but I'm staying off of it now. And your right, every pound counts, I would rather lose only 2lbs a week then none at all. We just have to get over the fact that we can't lose it all in a month (as awsome as that would be). Hang in there and we can make it. GOOD LUCK :D

I was having this very discussion with my ex. I told him that it was so much easier in the past once i reached 10 or 15 pounds because then the small numbers like .5 or 1lb add onto a bigger number and it seems so much more impressive.

SIGH..I really need to stop looking at the scale everyday. It's so hard sometimes to not look. But its so true that as soon as you see no movement its like a major disaster..

Perfect example. This is my first week. I actually started on Wed the 3d and since wed I have gone down from 278 to 272.. FANTASTIC. But of course I stepped on the scale the other day and it read 273 two days in a row.. NOW at that point I had lost 4lbs..(RACHEL THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME..and It had only been a couple of days not a full week) But i was so disappointed that I didn't see the movement. Its so stupid, why does our minds make us trip out over the smallest things. FOUR POUNDS x 4 weeks would be a great first month.

Anyways I am done ranting, I just wanted to tell you that I understand the scale thing and need to see if I can switch from everyday to every other day which no doubt will yield something.

Thats a great loss for your first week! I only dropped 3lbs for my first week. But I blame that on TOM lol

As far as the scales I am definitly fixated on it, I check it daily, its a very bad habit!

I lost 3ibs this first week, its been tough and some stomach issues yesterday tipped me into the loss for the week!!! yippeeee!, feeling much better today.

Its the long run that counts just stay focussed and watch for any slip in eating habits.

Good Luck!

Congratulations, what a great effort! I hope I can do the same but my body doesn't seem to react to well to my diet program. I should probably contact a physician and ask him for a good diet program that will work for me. Since every person reacts different to a program, everybody has to find the right way and right pace to lose weight and stay healthy.

Ive become anal about checking the scale as well but I think it keeps me on track Ive been on phen for 2 weeks on monday and have lost 7 lbs.....but due to a slip up on two of those days I have flucuated a pound or two the wrong way...so it just makes me realize I need to do better the next day!

congrats on your weight loss...it's a long slow road but hopefully it will be for life once we lose all the weight!

hey guys... i read over you accomplishments and you are all doing AWESOME!!!!! congrats! I just started phen today i am soooo EXCITED! I too had the obsessive scale checking proboem in the past haha. I find that if u limit yourself to once a week you will be very determined during the week and will likely see WONDERFUL results! I started a thread in the MY EXPERINCE WITH PHEN section... hoping that some of us can do a weigh in each week and see how much progress we are all making with only checking once a week:)! check it out guys. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
