Hey everyone,

I have been on phentermine for 2 weeks and have not lost anything. I have tried countless diet pills before, slim fast, weight watcher and nothing ever seems to work. (I eat healthy and I do admit I could work out a little more but being a nurse on her feet for 12 hours tires me out.) Even better, the phen does nothing for me. I don't feel less hungry or any thirstier then usual. I know they are real because I got them from my doctor. Any suggestion? Im only 21 and not on any medications that would interfere with phen or cause general weight gain. It is very upsetting to see people having such great success while I feel incredibly disgusting with myself.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Jenny

Hi Jenny! Just stick with it:)! I have been on since Feb. 09 and for the month of May I only lost 4 pounds!!! I know you want it to be gone so fast but it's not gonna happen quickly:) Just give it a little longer. You will see results:) Good luck hun:)

Just give it more time. I have a friend who is on phen right now and she doesn't notice anything when she takes it but so far she's lost 13#. I hadn't lost anything in 2 weeks and then today my scale dropped. :)

I think you have to change your eating habbits too. its suppose to make you less hungery. Talk to your dr. maybe he can perscribe a differnt kind for you. I know some people dont like certain ones. Just fine one that works with you

Don't give up! It takes some people alot longer than others but it will happen if you do eat well and exercise...I get discouraged as well but we can't give up! As far as you being hungry still that should not be the case this medicine should almost take away your appetite, so sounds like you may need a higher dose or something good luck!

dont stress about it!!!! it will keep the weight on!!!!
what mg are you on and when do you take it?
are you drinking your water? what are you eating? even though you might not eat much-what you eat makes a huge difference. check your carbs!!!!
are you drinking soft drinks?

it could be little things that you don't realize. write down everything you eat and drink-at the end of the day go back and see what all you have taken in.

Remember that you didnt gain weight overnight and its not going to fall off overnight. Everyone's body's are different and lose at different rates. Dont give up.

Like kelm said- write things down, eat healthy, drink lots of water.

Give it more time!
Good luck

I am taking the same pill and sometimes I don't feel hungry and sometimes I do . I have just been trying to eat less and not eat at night. Try to keep lots of fruit around and if you just have to have a treat there are alot of 100 calorie things you can eat.
I know it is hard, but just think about how nice you will look once you lose the weight
