Is it just me or is getting started on this medication really difficult or does it seem to be just me. I am not elgible for like lap band or gastric bypass and only need to really lose 30lbs., but I am unable to find a doctor/weight clinic anywhere. It seem that getting on this medication is really taboo and the doctors in this town won't even consider it. I live in Uniontown, PA. Anybody have any other suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

I agree completely. I'm in Northern VA and it seems like every question on here about doctors in this area goes unanswered. I think it's becoming taboo which is really sad. Phen helped me lose over 40 pounds and I'm starting to put it back on because I can't find a doctor out here. I have been on it for 2 years. My heart never raced, my BP actually went down and I know I was not addicted because I have been off of it for months with no side effects (other than weight gain).

I go to Dr. Anchors in Gaithersburg, MD. I drive almost 2 hours to go but it is so worth it. Not sure how far that is from you. I've lost 33 lbs in about 13 weeks. I couldn't have done it without phen. I'd drive 4 hours if I had to....:D

Hi,
Ya gastric people will suffer a lot and they can't eat any thing spicy.
They have to protect their stomach from any bad thinks in food.
Thanks !

I had a friend north of me that was having that same issue. She said that she called around and found that a couple of the "alternative wieght loss" and "medical weight loss" centers that were run by doctors. When she asked if the programs included phen she was told that they did. I'm pretty sure it's on a case-by-case basis, but it's nice to know that some places don't consider it taboo. Good luck!

yeah i went to a weight loss clinic ran by doctors because my family doctor said i was doing fine on my own. which he was right i did loose a lot on my own but ive been stalled for quite a while. im going to be honest it isn't cheap. i pay 70 dollars for a 2 week supply of pills but at least my weight is starting to come off again. where i went is five hrs from you so that isn't going to really help. pa is a huge state :)
