Not sure if this is an odd question, but I'm on 30 generic phen, and I'm wondering if I take it at 10 am, do the buzzy, energy effects last a certain amount of time, or is it different for everyone? I would think that after 12 hours or so I would be free of the zippy kind of feeling - I haven't been having problems sleeping this time, unlike last time it took it a few years ago. I think that would mainly be due to working full time and then going to college at night, though.:D
I don't particularly like the feelings of upper type drugs, since I'm a somewhat energetic person normally, they make me feel a little too jittery, but the results are worth it. I'm about 20 - 25 pounds over right now and I've found short term phen to get me to where I need to be while giving me the motivation to stick to the diet and exercise to then maintain the weight.
I guess I'm just wondering if this feeling 14 hours after I've taken the pill is effects of the phen or maybe just an anxiety side effect? Just curious how other people have felt about it.
Thanks!
Melody

Melody,
Hi, I'm on the 30mg as well and have been for about 6 months. I have found that I start winding down about 8 hours after I take it, normally. It is probably different for everyone, and can also vary with different drug manufacturers. I have gotten my pills at Walgreens, for example, as well as another Pharmacy, and neither of those pills did much for me at all. However, I use CVS now religiously and I won't switch again. By far, their pills have been the best for me and I have a lot more energy and fewer side effects when I take them, but you might not like them. I have never felt jittery at all with these, but with the first pharmacy I got my pills from I did feel jittery as well as anxious and I was very edgy.

I think, overall, you will find that after being on them for a while, your system will adjust somewhat and the jittery or anxious feelings should calm down.

Oh, that's funny, I've used other pharmacies as well and thought I was crazy because CVS always worked the best. I wonder what they put in it......:)
