Ok- 4 days ago I started taking Phentermine 37.5mg, I've been doing pretty well side-effects wise but I did notice that my hands during the course of the day would seem cold and a little numb. The skin on my hands would seem really loose too almost saggy I thought maybe I wasn't intaking enough water so I drank a few cups, and it seemed to help. Towards the evening my neck muscles would tense up and get rock hard for a few minutes and then relax, I figured it was from tensing up or something. Today though I got up took my pill and drank about 1/4 cup of coffee and then a cup of water, nothing out of the ordinary but about 2 hours ago I noticed my hands were freezing, and so were my feet. nothing I could do -warm water, gloves, would keep them warm.. I got a little panicy and my heart started to race and my anxiety level rose. I was freezing but with no goosebumps, I took my temp. and it was just over 94 degrees! I called the emergency room to see if I should come in or not and they told me to call my pharmacist. By that time I had slipped on a sweatshirt and thicker socks. My pharmacist said that it sounded like my blood pressure was low and that she said I shouldn't take my pill tomorrow and call my Doctor, she also said that Phentermine should do the opposite and if I stayed on the pills I should onlt take half for a while until I get used to it.

I got pretty paniced and tried to just calm my self down and I couldn't find anything on the internet that listed these things as side effects until I found this forum with the previous post about the lady that had cold hands & feet. It made me feel a lot better....

My temp is back up to normal and I just feel a little jittery but my hands will get cold & stiff for a few minutes and then go back to normal and the back cold again.. This was happening mildly until today it seems more extreme. I drank some warm water and ate a banana but if anyone has any advise- whether I should just try to get used to this or stop. Thanks

I've got cold hands and feet but that also happened the last time I lost weight and that was without phen. I atribute it to loosing some of my insulation.

I think you should take a lower dose 2 years ago I weighed 150 and my doc put me on the 37.5 phen man, was I wired!! same effects you are having plus i got so sick with a stomach bug and ended up losing 10 lbs. in a month but, with no exercise so I ended up gaining everything back, when I went back to my doc. he gave me 30mgs. much better!!! I ended up losing the extra 10 lbs. I was carring around and keeping it off (untill getting prego a year later that's why I'm here again)

anyway, my advice to you is to take 1/2 a pill for now and get a lower dose next time your body is not large enough to handle the 37.5

BTW I'm on the 37.5 now and don't have the same effects because, I'm larger (started at 199 lbs.)

Good Luck!!
