So This is my first post on here, and i was wondering if any one else gets irritated like myself. It is actually really putting a damper on my relationship with my fiance. I can feel myself being really rude to him, and unusually short tempered. I try to tell myself, "Mallory, its okay he hasnt put the dishes away yet, its not a big deal." But i started yelling at him, and that is soooo not me, except when sometimes i am PMSing. Any other ladies/ or gentelemen out there feeling extra B!t@hy on phen? Is there anything i can do on it. I love the fact that I started using it on 2/17 and today 3/3 i have lost 14 pounds. FAB, but i dont want to be irratable, any pointers? You are all great thanks!!

I think this is a very common side effect. Do a search on Phen Rage and you will find all kinds of things others have said about it. I take Lexapro which I think keeps me from getting irritated. Good luck and I hope you find answers to help you deal with it.:)

My one suggestion would be to take the phen in the morning and the lexapro at night. How long have you been on it? It will take a few weeks for the lexapro to really kick in and get in your system. This totally helps me not have any phen rage. :)

ive been on Lex, for about 2 years now... so i know its in my system haha... I am just a little scared that i am not being able to control my mood. and since Lex is a Mood stabalizer... i was a little worried. Maybe it is just going to take some time to get use to it... I have a follow up on the 17th. I will ask my doc if it is something i can expect to keep on happening, or if i will get used to it and be able to control it better. Thanks for your help!

I had that problem when I was taking the yellow pills of phentermine (along with a LOT of other side effects). My doctor switched me to the half blue/half clear ones and I no longer get short tempered and all of my other bad side effects went away. His nurse told me she's on phentermine too and she's had a similar experience. So, maybe it's the type of pill you're taking??

Its funny that this thread is on here, every time I get back on Phentermine my husband can tell that I am on it. Its weird because im only mean to him, not anyone at work or friends, just him!!! I will be starting it again on monday at 180 lbs and hope to lose it but really need to control my anger so he doesnt know I'm on it.

Quick qusetion, does anyone know of anyone who has died by taking Phentermine alone with no other meds?
