Gross side effect? Maybe TMI

Has anyone experienced hemorrhoids while on Phen? I started Phen 2 1/2 weeks ago, and got one all of a sudden. I have had them a few times before in my life, but never ever this bad. I am in a ton of pain, but am not sure what to do...any suggestions?

I am a little afraid to call my dr, as I dont want her to take me off the Phen....if I had to choose between my butt hurting and being skinny, I would definately choose being skinny :) haha

I've never had that problem..

Preperation H might help with the pain from them though.. and you can try soaking in epsom salt bath.

Lots of times "roids" just happen! It happens more often to overweight people..I think. So maybe it's not at all related to Phen. Try the Prep H it works well!

I actually started taking phen a month ago, and I have noticed hemorrhoids as well. I thought maybe it was just something with me, but now that you said that, I'm wondering if it is a side effect.

I have noticed it too, but I have had a past with them as well. Sometimes changes in our bodies, stress, and one of the worst side effects with phen constipation, causes them. I agree that soaking them in a bath and using some of the many medications out there help a lot. If they get worse or not any better I would talk to your doctor, they can get really painful and I dont think your doctor would take you off of phen but try and figure out how to get rid of the rhoids.

Man that sounds like a pain in the butt ! Ha ha bad joke I hope that doesn't happen to me !!! My husband is my pain in the butt !! I am going to the dr tomorrow I will ask him. I hope he believes me when I say my friend is wondering if its a side effect from phen ?? I will let ya know what I find out. My mom gets them a lot I know they must be painful !!
