I've also been drinking lots of cold water, I had thought it might had been that also. This happens even when I"m not drinking. I just thought it was weird. I"m also taking myoden shots with the phen. I wonder if it's a side effect to the shot?

My hands and nose have been ice cold since I started the meds on Feb. 3rd. Only time I can get them to warm up is if I have them in water or under my husband's back while we are in bed; he is always complaining he is hot so I figure he deserves it. :) I have had this reaction with other diet pills that I have tried in the past so I assume it is just one of my reactions to the med. Anyone know what makes this happen?

This is why I signed on tonight to see if anyone was having the same side effects I was. I am cold and also get cold chills throughout my body all through the day. Now I know its not just me.

Actually yes, I have but hadn't really considered it being linked to the meds.

Cold feet. Haven't noticed with hands. What I have noticed though is just my feet are cold. Everything else seems uncomfortably warm.

I"m so glad I"m not the only one with this problem! I was getting scared it was just me and I wasn't gonna be able to take the Phen. Wheew! I really do wonder what causes it..I wonder if it's the bodys way of burning fat?

Yep Ive been FREEZING! I started taking it on Wednesday and by Thursday my hubby was saying 'dang hunny your butt is cold as ice, and your feet and hands are even worse!' lol. Maybe it is just because you're losing weight...I hear that skinny people are cold alot haha.

I also have a cold nose and freezing hands!
Anyone wanna try one of these remedies and let us know if it works?

Here's what I found on Diagnose-me.com

A lot of us have cold hands or feet and simply put up with it. For some people it can be a serious problem - especially if they get very cold. Some people wear mittens and heavy socks all year round, even in warm weather, indoors and out. Their hands and feet are always cold. A number of things cause this, such as:

* Poor circulation due to coronary heart disease
* Raynaud's disease (disorder that affects the flow of blood to the fingers and sometimes to the toes)
* Frostbite
* Working with vibrating equipment (like a jackhammer)
* A side-effect of taking certain medications
* An underlying disease affecting blood flow in the tiny blood vessels of the skin. (Women smokers may be prone to this).
* Stress

Possible Remedies:
Cayenne Pepper - In cold climates, cayenne powder can be used topically as well as internally. One-eighth of a teaspoon sprinkled into each shoe and/or glove acts to help the body generate heat. Water-soluble components in cayenne dilate capillaries in the skin surface, producing an immediate sensation of heat. Within 15 minutes, oil-soluble compounds reach deeper tissues, generating warmth for hours.

Ginkgo Biloba - Gingko has an documented reputation for improving circulation, and is sometimes of help for cold hands and feet.

Ginger Root - A warming herb sometimes helpful in improving circulation

Hi,
I'm new to the forums. I have taken phen in the past and am now taking it again. I find that I get chills pretty much all day when I take this. I didn't really think of it as relating to the pills until you asked.

I've Noticed My hands and Feet are freezing ALL the time now as well! I really took notice when other ppl started to notice how cold my hands were. When I go to bed I have to tuck my feet under my husband to get them warm too...I'm glad I'm not alone here.

A lot of people including me are cold, I guess it just has that effect on people....and I do not believe it is from drinking cold water

I get cold hands, nose, feet (the extremities) , After taking my morning doses, there cold up untl I actually start moving around when I am at work.
No problem with the afternoon or dinner doses.
Diversion of blood flow from the extremities is a natural occurence during a natural adrenaline rush, so it likely is the same with the drug induced one by Phen products.
