I've been on Phedimentrazine since 1/9 and i'm in my 4th week and according to my own scale, I've only lost about 8 or 9 pounds. I heard people were losing that in 1 or 2 weeks??? I don't get it. I'm drinking tons of water, exercising more (not too much b/c for some reason I gain weight when I exercise too much), and following Weight Watchers religiously. After my two week visit my doctor's scale said i lost only 4 pounds, which was extremely disappointing since these pills are not cheap. However, I was still clothed, boots and all, and was dying to pee (sorry for being gross) from all the water I'm being told to drink so all that has to at least add a pound or pound and a half. Plus, as I mentioned, my scale consistently says differently. I don't get weighed in for another 3 days, but I am not expecting much. I know 8 lbs in one month is healthy, but I was expecting so much more based on all my research. I just want to know if there's something I'm doing wrong and what other things I can do to increase the weightloss.
1/9/- 159lbs- dr scale, 157- my scale
1/22/- 155- Dr., 151- mine
1/29- CW-148- mine
Goal weight- 125

Hey there! Take heart and don't sweat it! You are doing great! You aren't doing anything wrong, trust me. It's because you don't have as much to lose as a lot of other people. The more you have to lose in the beginning, the faster it will come off. So by looking at your stats, that's why you've only lost 8-9 lbs. BUT...that really is a great loss. You want to lose at a pace that you will be able to maintain it for the long haul. I think I only lost 9 lbs in my first month, too, and I was also discouraged, and now I'm losing even slower than that...BUT AGAIN, it's still a loss! So, just be patient, as hard as that is, and in time, it will come off!

Your doing a great job! You cannot coompare your loss to anyone else, we all lose differently, I lost 10 lbs my first month and that was 10 lbs I no longer had to worry about. You have lost 8 lbs and you have much less to lose than I did when I first started, I needed to lose 70-80 lbs. You have to realize that the bigger you are on phen the bigger chance of losing quicker. Also the closer you are to your goal the harder it gets, so be extremely proud of losing 8 lbs, go to the grocery store and pick up a 8 lb bag of potatoes, pretty darn heavy, plus if you exercise you will lose more weight, you may gain a few lbs the first few days due to water retention but that goes away, I didnt gain any water weight when I exercised though. If your closer to your goal and exercise you might not see the scale drop very fast, but you will see your clothes fitting better due to losing inches and you will see more muscle defenition. Dont stress, that will just make your weight loss slower.

A loss is a loss is a loss.
Congrats on the 8 lbs. Like Aly said, get a 8lb bag of potatoes and try to run while carrying it. Imagine that is what you were lugging around one month ago.
It has taken me over 3 months to lose almost 20lbs. I was getting really frustrated until I unloaded a 20 lb bag of dog food from my car last night. I actually stopped, and realized that is about how much weight I have lost, and tried to imagine where it came off of my body from. I also pay attention every time I pick up my 9 mo old (he's a little over 18 lbs...moose!!) It really helps to put things in perspective.
Just stick with us...there are lots of ups and downs, but this is a great place to come for support.
You are doing a great job...keep it up!:)

I echo all the other ladies here. You have a lot less weight to lose, not that your weight loss in any less important to you than ours is to us, but it is going to go slower for you. You are really doing well. Start focusing on how your clothes fit now compared to early January. I think you will see the results.
