I started Phentermine in Sept. I was on it for about a month, off of it for a month, on again, off again... It's coming to the end of Jan.
I am feeling I need to take this drug now or I will never work!

I haven't done enough research on it.
But has anyone stayed on this long term?

I have a very demanding job emotionally, physically, and mentally... I started this drug because I needed energy during work and I needed to loose a little bit of weight.

When I had stopped for a week or 2 I blew up and couldn't keep my weight down.
I eat very healthy. I have been eating the same foods since sept.

I tried to stop last weekend Sat. By sat. afternoon I had not gotten out of bed because I didn't want to move, I ended up taking a pill that day and got done everything that needed to be done.

I love this pill because I am super women. I can get everything done plus more when I am on it.
It doesn't effect my eating, as I said I have been on the same eating "schedule" since sept. It hasn't changed.

Anybody in the same boat?

I sort of have the same issues, without phen I get really sleepy and exausted, I feel like a trian hit me. A few girls on here advised me to check with the doctor and see if I have Insulin resistance or a vitamin D dificiency, I have switched to low carb eating and feel much different than when I was eating lots of breads, pastas, and other carbs..I no longer feel tired or exausted from doing absolutely nothing when i dont have phen for a day or so. I hope when I come off of it I will be able to maintain and figure out the underlying problem because phen is not long term and I dont want to gain weight back. I was off for a month and gained 2 lbs as well doing the same things I was doing before, but I think cutting carbs will help me alot when i come off of phen again. I noticed that those 2 lbs was water weight I was retaining too because it fluxuated and I looked puffy, I also didnt use the BR as much as I did while on phen.

Have you tried a water weight pill?

I never have...
And I am wondering if I should.
I drink about a gallon of water to a gallon 1/2 on the days I am on phen.

It's weird that I crave water when I am on it.
And I am always going to the BR.

If I don't find a doctor out here in central california, i will go back to my doctor in las vegas and takl to him about this..

I take hbp pills now and they are baisically water pills to keep my blood pressure down, since I started taking them I dont feel as if I have swollen fingers and my face doesnt hold onto water either..If my TOM's get really bad I will take a diurex water pill in the morning, you can get them at Walmart etc...get the capsule non caffiene kind..try not to take water pills too often because it can cause problems with organs

I have been off of phen for about a month now. I must admit the weight loss has slowed down. I am sort of glad to be off of it though. I was glad to get the boost that I needed to get started. But now I know that as long as I watch what I eat and ramp up on the exercise, I can do this on my own. I now feel so much better when I exercise.By the way, I was on phen for 90 days.
