Need a Doctor in Colorado

I can not find anyone to help me. I live in a small town in Craig CO and I have only seen two doctors which are rather old and set in there ways. My MBI is 29 and I was in a wreck last year and can not exercise like I use to to keep my wight down, not to metion I am a stress eater and I have gained 49lbs in the last 6 months. If anyone knows of a place in CO please let me know. Thank you

Have you thought to go to a Dr. in a larger city, like Denver, Colorado Springs or Pueblo? I have a friend who went to a weight loss clinic in Pueblo and got a presc. for Phen. I also live in a small CO town and was able to get an presc. from my family Dr. Today is my first day.

You BMI isnt high enough for most doctors in colorado it is reqired to be above 30. Its a state law thing... sorry

That's where I go. The script of one month of Phentermine is $54.95, and I opt to get the lipotropic/B12 shot once a week. But since u live in Craig I'm sure getting to Denver would be a pain. They're really nice in there. Now, my BMI is quite a bit higher than yours, but I'm sure they can help you.

thanks for posting where to go! I went to a dr today and he wouldnt give it to me without wanting to charge me 400.00 for an EKG and blood work!!!!
I really hate the bate and switch game....i called first and explained to the receptionist that i wanted a prescription and could i make an appt and how much would it costs. She told me that was fine and that it would be 70.00 for the visit and that i could get the prescription. So i was so upset, the dr didn't charge me for the visit after he couldn't convince me to consent to the 400 price. I came back home and logged into the forum to see if i could find anyone in colorado that could recommend a place to me. I have an appt with Cherry Chreek Weight loss tomorrow! they only charge 54.95 and you get a 30 day supply and a free B12 shot. They do require blood work the first visit and the cost is 40.00 for that since its done on site. I feel way better.....thanks again!
