Alrighty guys we all know the enevitable Turkey Day is coming up and for most of us if not all of us this will be the first big challange we face in our journey. With the willpower and support we can accomplish ANYTHING we set our minds too. So we all agreed it would be a good idea to have another challange so i made this thread so everyone can come and put their weight in what they want to achieve in the following week and their mini goal they want to get to by Friday December 12th. So here is how its going to go EVERY Friday STARTING TOMORROW you will come here and post your weight. Since tomorrow if the first weigh in you will also need to put your mini goal weight for the challange. Everyone also agreed that they would like an exercise challange to be given. So the 2 people who lost the most weight for the week will be in charge of the exercises we do for the following week. This will be a good challange not just for the new Phrends but also for the old ones who are close to their goal or maintaining to help them get through the rough holidays coming up. This is the best site for support so if you have a bad week ( which we all have had ) still post your weight and what you will change for the upcoming week. GOOD LUCK ALL :)

P.S. To be fair the first 2 people who post a thread tomorrow will be the first 2 to pick exercises! So keep an eye out when you post so you can add that in there.

Yay! I'm so needing this! I've been looking up recipes for things to make for my kids' school feasts for next week, and at the same time, looking up some recipes for pies and casseroles for Thanksgiving, and I've been getting myself SOOOO hungry! I started thinking about what things I can get away with eating, etc. So, my minds already been planning out my cheating. UGH!!! I so need this challenge to help keep ON TRACK!

Just a thought on the exercise thing, the first 2 people is a good idea. I was kind of thinking we have 7 different exercises for the week...one for each day. And if you can't to them all, thats ok, it also gives us more choices, like if some us can't do certain things because of bad backs or whatnot??? Know what I mean?
So I am thinking the first 2 people come up with like 4 exercises each and then we have 8 to choose from for the week? Or the first 2 people get to pick 2 other people each to come up with an idea, and then Mommy2belle picks the other one since she started the challenege....that makes it 7 in total, one for each day. What does everyone think about that? It's just an idea.

Wow, I guess I'm the first one to post today. I just got done with my morning workout (and I'm glad tomorrow's Saturday ! - I don't exercise on Sat and Sun usually) Whew! Okay, I weighed in this morning before my workout. My weight is 148.0. I think my goal for next Fri will be 145. And my overall goal for this 4 week challenge will be 139. My exercise (suggestion) will be push-ups, 30 a day, either with straight legs, or on your knees, whichever you need to do.
Let's go guys! We can do this!!
Ooops, I just re-read the posts and I guess I'm supposed to come up with two exercises. Okay the other one will be "Reverse Plank" (as Jillian Michaels from Biggest Loser calls them). You lay on you back (on a padded surface). Raise you legs off the floor about 8-10 inches, keeping your legs straight. At the same time you raise your shoulders up off the floor and look at your feet, but don't strain your neck. Also, keeping your arms straight, reach them toward your feet. Now hold this position for as long as you can! (she has you hold it for thirty seconds in the workout) This is an awesome one for toning your stomach.

My weight today is 204 :( so 2 lbs up from last week and back to where I was when I first stopped phen. My goal is to get back to 202 by next week. My goal for the challenge is 5 lbs so I can be at 199. I wish I could do push ups :( I cant even do a measly one..I have no upper body strength and every time I try I fall on my face..I also broke my wrist 2 times so I dont want to put my weight on it either. I suggest doing 30 sit ups, crunches, or jack knives.

Morning Everyone!

I am so excited about this challenge. I am retaining water like crazy this week because TOM is around the corner but I will push through this!!!

My SW this morning is 224.6. I would like to lose a total of 8.6 pounds in the next four weeks for an end weight of 216. I guess that works out to a little over two pounds a week. I may be pushing it a bit on the 2 pounds a week but a girl can dream can't she!!!

Alright, lets get ready to rumbllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :) LOL

Are ya'll trying to hide from me??? LOL I've been searching all over for the new thread :)

I'm so totally freaking out here! I started taking phen on the 6th and have lost 8.4lbs as of this morning and I still can't believe it!!! My weight this morning is 229.8lbs and my goal for this challenge is 219.8lbs (thinking positive here lol)
WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Karen you just had to say push ups huh???? I was hoping no one suggested that lol I'll try it but prolly won't even be able to do one haha

Ok chicks let's do this ! Wooohoooo!!! Ok the number this morning is 194.5. Witch I'm very happy about cause that means I've droped 9lbs since I've started already ! YAY.I would like to lose 4lbs this week and over all for the next 4 weeks 10.lbs. (Does that sound crazy?) Ok let's get busy !! Happy losing everyone !

Okay guys... For those of you who say they CAN'T do push ups-- here's an alternate exercise that works the same muscles. Stand about 2 feet away from a wall, FACING the wall. Put your hands on the wall at shoulder level, and shoulder width apart. Do your push ups off the wall. Obviously the closer (or farther) your hands are together will change the muscles worked, and how hard it is. And, if those are NOT challenging enough, take a step back away from the wall a little more and try again. And don't do these quickly, take it slow, and work those muscles! Find a spot that works your arms WELL, but won't injure you. Now, stop complaining about the push ups!!! Are we here to get in shape or what!!! (Okay, a little of Jillian, from The Biggest Loser just came out, sorry!! ) I'd say do 3 sets of 10, just like the regular push ups.

wow okay i'm dumb i didn't know challenges were diff from the main board. anyway i was 165 this morning and in four weeks i want to b 155. at my weight 10 lbs might b pushing it but it gives me something to work hard for.

YAY so happy you guys all joined this challange. Today i weighed in at 142.6 i had a rough week but lost a lb which iam ok with i normally lose alot more but i didnt think i would loose anything. My 4 week challange goal would be 132.6 i will just do 10lbs Good luck everyone and i cant wait to start exercising woohoo!

Perfect timing. Weighed in at the Doctors office today and go back on the 12th.
Challenge start weight: 176.6
week one goal: 174.6
week two goal: 172.6
Week three goal: 171.0
December 12 goal 169.9 (with clothes on would be great, Dr. frowns on being
naked on their scale):D

Okay so yay....my first week on phen ended good...I stopped weighing myself...Yay I lost 9 pounds in the first week..So now I weigh 236...I am so psyched!!! So my goal for the end of these next 4 weeks will be..uummm...225..I think it is reasonable and very much attainable..Thank you all for your support. Ohh and do I have to give the exercises now or at the end...thanks...Angelique
crap I almost forgot, i want to be 230 by the end of next week....:D

Went to the doctor this morning, got weighed and it was 233lbs....I would like to loose 12lbs by the end of the 4 week challenge...goal for first week is 230!

YAY my first challenge and my girlfriend is in on it with me...ok so i weighed this morning and i weighed 240....I have lost 9 pounds in one week with phentermine...Okay so my 4 week goal is 20 pounds but my goal for next friday will be to weigh 230...that is 10 pounds....I think I can, I think I can....good luck to all...

Sorry I'm so late to post...had a REALLY long day...Im at 260 lbs right now and I'd like to lose 15 lbs in 4 weeks to bring me down to 245 lbs... My boyfriend and I are going on vacation to California the end of December and I'm so nervous because I'm also meeting his mother while we're down there. I just dont want her to look at me like I'm a cow!!

I would love to join this chllenge, I have a really hard time with the holidays. My current weight today was 200.8, I would like to be at 190 by the end of the challange. I will need a lot of support the next two weeks. I will be going to San Diego next weekend for the Breast Cancer 3day walk, and they feed you alot, I will be eating vegatarian, vegan if possible, but I know I will still be eating alot. Then on Sunday my family will be joining me, we will be staying in San Diego for the whole week, doing the theme park thing. I am so scared of the theme park food, I don't think they will have alot of vegan options. Any suggestions at this time?

Thank you for all the support you can give, I really appreciate it, do not get alot from the family.

UGH! I totally screwed up yesterday. I was having a REALLY stressful day, and I caved in bigtime. First, I ate some goldfish crackers. Then I ate a snack size Snickers and Heath bar. Then my hubby came home from work and had bought some beer, and I had a ton of those. Then he ordered pizza, and I had a slice of supreme pizza, and a breadstick, and dipped it all in regular Ranch. Then, much later at night, some friends were coming over, and stopped at Taco Bell on their way, and I got a Nacho supreme, and some pintos and cheese. What was I thinking????!!!! Well, the good news is, I'm back on track today. And there is NO WAY I'm getting on that scale before my doctor's appointment on Tuesday, because I know it would just be bad news, and I'd get mad at myself, and probably eat crap again. So.... way to start off this challenge huh?

So is everyone doing their exercises? Well I dont think we have switched it up since friday..any new exercises in mind? I started taking thoses vitamin packets from GNC and I feel great...so energetic..I am soo taking advantage of this today :P I did 20 mins of jogging/speedwalking in intervals, and did my 30 wall push ups hehe..I was totally going to have a lazy sunday but not anymore..probably going to clean out my car and a whole bunch of good stuff haha

Grrrr I hate week ends ! Everything gets off track for me. Everyone is home and all I get done is doing doing and doing for everyone but myself ! Good thing about it I don't have time to eat on the weekends I just don't have time for my workout. Start back in the morning.

I WIN!!! I WIN!!! Group slacker that is! Sorry I didnt post on Friday, been a rough couple of days and I am in for one heck of a roller coaster ride this coming week! I did weigh on Friday and I was at 259! which is awesome! Since I know this next week will be crazy and I might not get in all my exercises (even though I am going to try) I am going to shoot for 252 at the end of the challenge. Good luck everyone and I will try not to be such a slacker!

Stupid birthday cake! Let's just say that this weekend has not been my friend. My middle child had a birthday party and there was too much cake left over that came home. I'm guilty :( I haven't done any exercises at all over the weekend. TOM came a knocking and I just don't feel like doing crap. (first one since baby was born) It's so dang hard on the weekends anyway with 5 kids home and hubby off of work. I know I know it's just excuses lol We BBQ'd yesterday and I didin't touch anything bad so I'm proud of myself but the scale is going in the wrong direction grrrrrrrrrrrr I hope it's just because of TOM!

NO more excuses back to exercising today!!!!!

Yeah gidget, exercise makes TOM much better! You can let yourself have a relax day while on TOM, but its proven to help with those aches and cramps if you exercise :)...

Good morning all ! I love mondays !! Hubbys gone kids back at school ! Woooohoooo I'm back on track !! I have a ? does any of u girls wake up with really bad pains in ur leg or legs ? My right leg has been hurting really bad ! I've been pushing myself to keep going like always but it would be a lot better without the pain.

Ok, so saturday I ate out and had candy....But I think I shouldn't..everytime I eat candy or have a coke, or eat take out I get really sick...I throw up and end up with the BG's (bubbly guts)....So ****s. So I think I should just go back to my soups and yogurt and straight water again....So today I went back to walmart with my girl and got 4 cases of water and 4 gallons also...Ohh yeah and a ton of yogurt yummy......So wish me luck on getting back on track today.....Ohh I should also tell you all with your comments and help and advice....I have lost 15 pounds as of today since friday the 7th of november....YAY....Love you all...Good luck and be careful and drink tons of water!!!! eh I feel tired lol, but feel good that I got up and moving thats for sure, gotta work off that pasta I had last night ;). I can't wait to get back on phen friday, I have to keep stopping myself from taking it early lol. I want to drop this water weight and be awake again. I have to say that those vitamins are helping with the energy though. I hope to see a difference in my weight when I weigh in friday because that will be almost a week of taking the vitamins without phen..guess we will see :)

Hey everyone. I'm a late joiner - I wasn't online over the weekend. I've gained 5 pounds back from what I lost as of last Tuesday :( Had a reaaaaaaally bad week. I'm still having problems with the accountability and staying on track - and I like to eat what's easily available since I'm so busy. I must change my bad habits!

Ok, so my start weight, as of today I guess is 244. My goal for Friday is 240. I'd like to lose 3 pounds a week, which would put me at 231 on December 12.

I will exercise an hour a day at least and stick to my meal plan. I need to start making time for MYSELF.

I'm not sure what my problem has been, but I have sabotaged myself these last few days. I know better than to eat what I have been eating but it's not until after I've eaten it do I feel bad! It's a little late then huh??? Tomorrow is a new day and I still have a chance to pull this week up out of a nose dive by weigh in time Friday. Hope you guys are having a better go at it!:o

hey everyone! i cant believe the outcome of this challange iam so glad everyone wanted another challange. Grr sorry i havent been on work has me going like crazy! i feel like iam never home and i hate it! whats the point of working pt if your stuck an hour or 2 after your supposed to get off? anyway ive had a bad week and a half. I thought it was because my dr decreased my phen but i also went out to eat 3 days in a row and even though i didnt mess up i think its the whole eating out part. So yesterday i went back to my old eating habits and lost over a pound! iam so happy its not phen and its me because that shows me i can do this after iam done! iam soo very proud of you all noone will ever know how hard weightloss is until they have to do it. and Aly iam so proud of u you defiently have willpower to not take the phen. I dont know many people including myself that would do that WTG! and hmhunter i love your picture you look amazing and your 177! i never looked like that at 177. Keep up the great work and iam hoping to lose more then i did last week by this friday. Iam keeping up with the exercises even though lol i cant manage to get myself up 30mins early like Aly hehe but i get it in there.

Hey Ladies -

I am really frustrated and upset right now. I have no idea what is going on with me. As soon as I signed up for this challenge on Friday everything started going downhill. TOM is here right now and has been here since Friday. No signs of letting up. I am so bloated that I can barely get my rings on and because of this I couldn't stay away from the scale. Well, I knew it was a mistake even before I stepped on the scale. It showed that I am UP 2 pounds since FRIDAY! WTF?? This has never happened before with TOM while I have been on phen-d. Sure my weightloss has stalled while TOM was around but I never gained before!! I am really down but I'm hoping it's just water weight especially since I have been doing everything exactly the same as always.

Okay, just needed to vent because everytime I set goals for myself, etc., I somehow get derailed - not just in weightloss but other things too. I guess I just have to stop setting goals and go with the flow! LOL Things tend to work out better like that anyway! :/

thanks aldo i sure hope soo. its weird you said all that stuff because yesterday morning i couldnt get my ring off my finger and it scared me i was panicing and i know i made it worse but my finger is cut up from me forcing it off! also with weight gain i also gained 2lbs since friday when i weighed in yesterday and its sooo frustrating. I never gain weight on Tom but its defiently coming maybe thats why? You can do this dont beat yourself up i mean look at you over 70lbs! you can push through this and she Tom whos boss :)

Thanks mommy2Belle. I totally know this is just a minor setback but as you know once you become use to constant weight loss it's hard to take a step back. I have had such consistent weight loss since I started that going backwards is NOT something I am use too. Even when I went on vacation and ate way to much in August I didn't gain a single pound! I went out and bought 5 pound weights yesterday because the 3 pounds I've been using became to easy to use so I'm hoping it will get my metabolism going!

I am not looking forward to Friday's weigh-in!!! Ugh. :(

You know guys thats funny cuz my scale shows I am up 2 again as well. Maybe its the weather? lol Im not really worried about it because I havent been drinking as much water as work due to not being near a bathroom lol. On top of getting up 30 mins early I walked 2 miles at work yesterday. So I know I am doing fine right now. My biggest issue right now without phen is the night cravings. I am having really bad chocolate and salt cravings as soon as I get home and it don't stop even after I have a meal. I am really looking forward to getting back on phen and curbing the hunger for sure. You know what I have really noticed without phen is how much I peed while on phen and how I dont really pee as much, even when drinking a lot!.

:( I dont get to go back on phen this week, my blood pressure is too high so my doctor is going to be putting me on some meds and I have to go in every day for a week and make sure the medicine is working, then I get to go back on phen. Hopefully I can get my blood pressure measured tomorrow, friday, monday, tuesday, and wednesay ..then start phen again on thanksgiving..I really wanted to curb my hunger on that day! oh well..here we go ..

I have a good feeling about fridays weigh in! I have been so good the past 2 days, I have stuck with my meal plan and I have exercised at least 45 minutes everyday! Including the wall push ups and jack knifes. I make my husband remind me if it starts getting late...I have him ask me if I exercised today and if I did not, then I feel obligated to do so. BTW I MAKE him ask me these questions. He could care less, but he knows I want to do it, so he is helping me stay accountable.
I also have been trying to drink more water, which is probably the hardest thing for me. I love water, it's all I really drink, or ever drank, it's just reminding myself to drink so many ounces a day thats kind of hard. Plus I am not really that thirsty throughout the day.

I took a couple days off from the phen forum and got a lot of stuff done around my house. I have decided until this challenge is over I am just going to check the challenge section of the forum....If I have time to sit on my butt and read all the posts on the other sections then I have time to do some more calorie burning activity. I have been finding myself getting pretty stressed out, and easily annoyed by SO MANY posts that are unrelated to weight loss support. I was finding myself NOT losing, and I know one of the reasons for that is I was spending too much time on the forum. So THANK YOU ALL for this Challenge and Support! I have more fun and have been so excited about this because of all of you involved, and we are all working toward the same thing! I was about to leave this forum and this challenge seriously saved me from that!

I also pledged to myself NOT to weigh myself until fridays from now on. And even though it was hard the first couple of days, I have not stepped on the scale in 3 days and I honestly today feel good about it. I know TOM is coming in a couple of days and I have been working so hard, that I do not want to watch it fluctuate because it will just stress me out. I am just trying to tell myself I need to lose and I am staying disciplined and rally working hard for a nice result on Friday.

Combined, I think we will lose a person by the end of this challenge! ;)

Okay, I went back and wrote down everybody in the challenge, and their start weights and goal weights. There are more people doing this challenge than I thought!!! A total of 18 !!!

Its called a lipo shot, lipotrioptic (spelling?) you can also get pills for it. You can get pills over the counter just like any other diet pill but the ones I saw were 80$. From what I know the lipo shot works really well but is really expensive as well.

Ok, as much as I want to participate, I think I may have to wait until next challange. I have been so busy getting ready for the 3day, and then next week we will be in San Diego all week, and I cannot guareentee I will be able to workout, except for walking around amusement parks. So I will keep checking and get on the next challange. Best of luck to all those this time, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

??? I was talking to some lady at the store I have seen her b4 and she was really big so I ask her how she lost so much and she said that her dr has been giving her a shot to make her lose. She's lost 70 lbs !! She didn't say what it was. Have any of u heard about a diet shot ??

Sounds good, but I have learned to not take any meds via injection. If you have a bothersome side effect to phen (or any type of pill), you can just as easily stop taking it as you started. With an injection, however, you would have to wait for it to take its course. My friend got the birth control shot in her arm and had migraines for 3 months!! I don't know about that for me :) Just sharing...

GOOD MORNING everybody! And Happy Friday!

I know I'm the first challenge participant on here today, but I think someone else should come up with exercises for this week. I came up with some last week, and it's likely I'll be one of the first on here every week. ( I get up, exercise, and then come on here while cooling down!) So, to be fair , the next person to post, you choose the two exercises, okay??

Alright, as for my weight, I'm doing good!! I'm at 145 (that's down 3 pounds from last Friday). As for my eating, I'm NOT doing so good. I'm having more and more cheat days, and it's starting to worry me. I'll go a few days and stay strictly to my diet, and then the next day, usually in the afternoon/evening I'll get out of control and eat anything I want. I CAN'T do this, and I've got to get a handle on it. I'm totally surprised I lost 3 pounds, because I screwed up Friday, Tuesday, and Thursday! With next week being Thanksgiving, AND supposed to be T.O.M. too, I'm not looking forward to weighing in next Friday!!!

Here's hoping the rest of you are sticking to your diets better than me!

On a positive note, I have been doing all my exercises, everyday!

Morning Ladies -

Well, what I expected to happen has happened. I lost nothing this week. In fact I am up a couple of ounces. My current weight is 225. Up from 224.6. :( TOM has been here for over a week already!! This is getting ridiculous. I am not going to update my profile because I am hoping this is just a temporary bump and next week will be better. So much for losing 8.6 pounds by the end of the challenge but I guess I still have approximately 28 weeks to lose 55 pounds so I am not sweating this temporary stall.

Karen Congrats!! 3 pounds in one week is awesome! Keep up the good work! :)

Well I am up a few lbs this week weighing 205, I got my second TOM this month and my blood pressure has been too high so I am supposed to take it slow on the exercise until my blood pressure meds are working. Then I get to start phen again as well. Yeah, whats our exercises gonna be this week? I need some motivation guys :)

well girlies today i weighed in at 142.0 so thats .6 lost this week. I thought it was the decrease in phen that was my problem but nopers its defiently me! i ate right for 2 days perfectly and lost over 3lbs that i gained over the weekend. I honestly think its in my head now that iam happy with where iam so i dont say no likei used to! I guess thats a plus but then a negative because i need and want to lose 12 more lbs. congrats Karen 3lbs is awesome and aldo its ok we all have our bad weeks. We have lost so much weight in such a little amount of time you should be nothing but proud of yourself reguardless of how many weeks you stay the same even though its kills you i agree with what you said before we are so used to the 3-7lb lost a week but weight loss is weight loss. Aly iam proud of you and i cant say it enough and i hope your blood pressure goes down so you can hop back on the wagon. Listen to your dr take it easy you have made such a turn around with eating you will do fine until its time to start up again. The exercise i think we should do or well one of them would be squats i love them and i need to get my butt back in shape hehe. who else is scared for next weeks weigh in? Espically since its the day after Turkey day

I weighed in this morning at 212. So I lost 3 pounds this last week! I am really excited because when I went to the doc the last time to weigh in I had gained 6 pounds in the month of October! I was on vacation for 3 weeks and then it was really hard to get back into the good habits, but I finally feel like I am back on track! I lost 5 of the pounds I gained before this challenge and now I am actually 2 pounds LESS than I was before the gain! My set back is over! I had been pretty depressed about the gain, and I did not think the scale would budge, but now I have hope! 212 as of today and hope to be 205 by the end of the challenge! Maybe oh maybe I will just make it to ONEderland by Xmas! Then only 30 more pounds to go!!!!

I almost forgot we had to post a weekly weigh in. I've been doing my daily email weigh ins for the Christmas wish challenge. Last friday I weighed 229.8 and today I'm at 226.6 so that's a little over 3lbs for the week, prolly still some water weight.
I really need to get moving on the extra exercises grrr at least I've been doing WATP 4 mile challenge daily :)
I might just make it to my Thanksgiving mini goal! Maybe I'll just skip Thanksgiving this year LOL

Hey girls. Looks like we've had some great losses. I weighed in at 239.0, down from my start weight of 244. My goal weight was 240 so I'm pretty happy!! I've been working out and eating right, and I feel so proud of myself.

It is so up sitting because I've worked so hard and everyone says u lose more the first month then u do the 2nd so I feel like I'm not ever going to get down to what I should be. Sorry I'm late. Its been a bad week.....I interviewed for my academy sponsorship...didn't get it (I think its my size even though I past the physical abilities exam) they told me to keep doing what I am doing and re-apply in June. So that was bad...and then on Thurs morning my whatever you call him left for kuwait...(and of course I found out about the sponsorship that afternoon....I was a mess). I weighed in yesterday...260 gained 1lbs...could be worse. I didn't eat tues night until friday morning and didnt want to eat then, just figured it would be bad to just pass out at work. but...everything happens for a reason and I am going to keep going and shoot for June and hope my Dan stays safe. Everyone is doing great...whats the exercise...I think I read squats on mommie2belles...??

Where's everybody at? It's been really quiet on this thread the past few days :confused:
I have stopped taking phen for now just to see if I can do it on my own this is day 4. I've done great with the exception of some reeces my husband just had to bring in the house but the scale is constantly going down so I'm not beating myself up over it. Surprisingly I've been keeping up with my extra exercise. Any other suggestions ya'll may have for "thunder thighs" exercises lol

I have been soo busy at work its not even funny, I have to say I have been bad lately..I ate crappy and havent exercised..I was advised to keep the exercise down and such so I wouldnt heighten it while taking the new meds for high blood pressure..so I get home late, don't feel like cooking, and dont exercise..ughh so not me. I have been so whiped out without phen :( ..well I get to start phen again thursday woohoo@@@@@!!!! I'm so happy..I think keeping exercise low and eating some junk will kick start my weight loss once I go back on phen on thursday and can exercise again..for sure! So thought I would give an update :)

When I stepped on the scale this morning, all it would say was ------- or "ERR". It didn't have the heart to tell me the truth! LOL! Actually the battery was dying so I have no idea what my weight is but if I were a betting girl; I would say no loss, probably a gain.

this was a good week i am 139.0 so i not only lost over 70lbs but i was able to hit my mini goal of 139.8 a day before WOOHOO. ive lost 4lbs this week and i defiently ate stuff yesterday i would of turned down normally but i ate small portions at both my in laws and my parents house so iam very proud of myself and all of you congrats :)

Hey everybody! I haven't posted in a few days. I've been out of town. And I've been eating like crap all week. I haven't "over eaten", I've just been eating fatty stuff, and carbs... Well, I weighed in just a few minutes ago (even though I like to weigh in first thing in the morning, but I wasn't here then) I'm at 145.0, so same as last Friday. And I'm LUCKY and thankful for that! After the junk I've eaten, AND being TOM( -started today), I was expecting much worse. I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning, just for the heck of it, to see if my weight changes either way. Where is everybody else? I'm only the 5th one to weigh in... Maybe they're all out of town too???.....

Hey Everyone...Weighed in this morning 261...I think that means I gained 2 or 3 lbs (to lazy to go back an look). I knew it was going to be bad, just glad it wasnt worse. I also havent taken phen for 5 of the 7 days...and the first few I didnt see a diff, but yesterday and today I ate more than I have been (even when not really hungry...guess that means the bad habits are still hangin on!) And ...I don't know about anyone else...but I felt like the phen didnt really give me any extra energy, however without it the past few days I am so dang tired!! Anyone else feel like that when they arent on it? Alright guys have a good week, hope everyone had a great turkey day!!

Hello ladys sorry it took me so long to WI today has been a crazy day ! N E ways I wi at 193.8 lbs so yeah I'm not very happy about that but I guess it could be worse. I really think its water because I had a diet soda at my moms for thanksgiving. she had no water and she lives about 20miles from a store so I just had one of her diet sodas. It seems like as soon as I had it I could tell. I felt like a blowfish !! I'm going to work harder then I ever have to drop 15 or 20 lbs by christmas ! I don't want to face my husbands family looking like I do. !

I'm still here, sorry it's been a crazy week with everyone home. I've been so bummed because I was doing sooo good then Thanksgiving happened lol Thanksgiving morning I weighed in at 223.4lbs then by Saturday morning I was 226.8 GRRRRR so I actually gained that week. It's going down slowly now but at least in the right direction I'm back to 224.6lbs today. WHY DID I HAVE THAT PIE??????? And as if that wasn't enough I did the Black Friday shopping and ended up at Applebee's after and no I didn't order off the weight watchers menu either :(

Your doing great Gidget, what is good is that you realized your mistake and now you will know how it feels if you mess up again. So this should be the motivation you need to try and not do it so often. You can do this, you will lose it before you know it.

I am finally losing again, I am down 2 lbs since friday. I am hoping to be in onederland soon, its took a bit longer than I would have hoped but I am happy none the less.

I'm still here. I haven't found a battery for my scale yet so I don't know what my weight is at the moment. But I will be honest, I was on an all you can eat free -for- all over the last week. I always get stressed out/ depressed this time of year. I have Celexa in my medicine cabinet but am afraid to take it with my phen because I haven't seen my doctor. It's a weird situation. I changed physicians and have seen the new one once. The Celexa script is from the old doctor with refills but the phen came from a weightloss clinic. I mentioned to the clinic about feeling down and thinking about getting back on something but didn't get to see my doctor until the end of December. Pretty much they told me to take it up with the regular doctor. Big help...thanks alot guys! I looked on the site phen pro for more info......long story short, I think I have gotten ahold of myself as of today and am ready to lose weight again. Just gotta get back in the habit of drinking more water. Thanks for thinking of me!:p

I've been out of town since Wednesday after work. I weighed myself at my parent's house Friday and their scale was very nice to me....but now that I'm back home today the scale here is mean! Final answer is my weight today is 241, even though I'd hit 237 Monday (which was my Friday goal). GRR.

You will get many different yes and no answers because everyone is effected differently by phen and the different brands. I tried taking the name brand adipex and it did not work for me at all. I like my qualitest generic brand the best. Others might tell you that they dont like the qualitest brand and like mutual brand. Everyone is right because they know if it works for them. So if you dont think its as good and it is not working then let them know at the clinic that they are absolutely not working and your willing to return them in order to get another script or supply.

Well I got the battery and the news I suspected. 180.0 lbs. Up 4 lbs:( Hopefully it's just water weight since the measurements didn't change. I have been a really slacker with water lately.

Don't worry Hmhuntr as soon as you get back on track you will see those pounds just melt away. You can do it! Remember that sometimes our bodies will gain a few lbs of water weight that we lost in the beginning of our journeys. I lost 17 lbs my first 2 weeks but gained most of that back, My body still needed water. So don't worry and dont stress, that just makes weight loss harder :).

Oooooh. I don't know what's wrong with me !! I'm stuck and I have been for about 2 weeks I've been on phen for almost a month and have just lost 11.lbs and most of that was the first 2 weeks. I don't know what im doing wrong ! I'm staying under 1200cals aday and the last 2 weeks I've been working out harder then what I was the first 2weeks. I am soooo upset and don't know where to go from here. If I'm not going to lose any more then 11lbs then what's the point of even being on phen. I just don't know what to do next!! :-(

Sweet have you been measuring? Maybe your gaining more muscle or maybe you need a higher cal day to change things up :)

I haven't taken phen since the 22nd I would much rather try this on my own now and keep that $120 plus in my pocket every month!

Sweet, we will have weeks where we dont lose weigt but inches, and it takes a while for our bodies to catch up. Everyone loses differently, I lost 10 lbs my first month, and 10 the next. Your doing everything right, remember any added stress will keep you from losing weight, when I tend to obsess about my weight loss I dont lose a darn thing, but when I forget about it I lose weight out of no where. I see that if I work hard for a few weeks I wont see the loss right away, it comes off in a few weeks after that. The big thing I came to realize is that I only feel good about myself when I try, when I eat right, exercise, and work hard. It doesnt matter if the scale doesnt move because just like everything else in life it takes patience, you will be rewarded eventually. So measure yourself ok? I lost no lbs in october but i lost 10 inches.

I've up'ed the water, I know it's not half the body weight but it's ALOT better than last week. I feel less bloated so I'm hoping the scale will reflect it!:D

Whew! Just got done working out. I was lazy yesterday, and didn't get out of bed. And today was tough, but I DID IT. Just weighed in.... I'm at 141 now. So, I've lost 4 pounds since last week. I might actually reach my final goal of 139. I've got to keep myself on track though! I made Christmas cookies all day yesterday. Man, was that hard. I managed to go the whole day eating only ONE of the cookies. And a teeeensie bit of dough too. But, after making 6 different kinds of cookies, totalling about 200+ cookies, I think that's pretty good. How are you guys doing???

I'm gonna add in an exercise to recommend for the week. How about jumping jacks. I know, they ****.... I hate them too. BUT, They get your heart rate up, and work your legs and arms at the same time. Try doing 3 sets of 20. You'll be glad you did! (maybe)

Wohooo I am so happy! After being stuck for over a month and gaining 2 lbs while off of phen I weighed in at 201 this morning~! Thats 5 lbs lost and 2 lbs from my goal..not to mention onederland...so close I can taste it babay!!!!!! I hope going skiing and boarding tomorrow all day long will be a good enough workout to shed those 2 lbs..:D I am estatic!

Morning Ladies!

Well the long lingering semi-plateau continues. I have been stuck at 220.8 all week but it's still a loss of 1.2 pounds from last week. Ugh. There is no explanation for my lack of weight loss except maybe I have finally become immuned to the phen-d? It's totally possible. I have my monthly weight-in at the doctor's office tomorrow and will discuss it with her. I am already on the max dosage for phen-d so maybe I take something else like phen or take a break for a few weeks? We will see.

Overrall obviously I am very excited to have lost so much in the last 5 months but my expectations had gotten so high it's hard to see such a slow down now.

It doesn't look like I will make my goal for this challenge but there is still the potential to reach my mini-goal by the end of the year. Anywhere between 210-215 would be fine by me. Fingers crossed!!!

Congrats alykat, karen and huntr on your losses! You guys are totally killing this challenge!! :)

Saturday morning i woke up 141.0 LOL i almost died! so i had to kick my butt into gear to be less then i was so iam happy with that. and this is the lowest i have been in almost 8 years! Next friday is the last weigh in so iam crossing my fingers i have 3.2lbs to lose. Also there is another challange that someone just created yesterday it started yesterday and weigh ins are on wednesdays give it a look i just joined it ends on the 31st :)

That's about half of the people that started the challenge. SassySessa, ethansmommy23, and justus4girls checked in last weigh in (the one after Thanksgiving), but not this past one Nov. 5th. The rest have been gone for a while! So SAD!!! Where are they? I hope they haven't given up.

For all the rest that are still in this challenge, and going strong... WAY TO GO! We all deserve to feel healthy and happy and beautiful, and we're on our way!!! I know I walk out the door with a smile on my face that hasn't been there in years. My confidence is back. And it feels better than any chocolate ring donut ever tasted!!! Or loaded baked potato... (I won't go on, I may get hungry!...heeheehee)

YAY, GO ME ... I DID IT!!!!! I made it to my challenge goal and no phen since 11/22! Weighed in at 219.2lbs today :D
I can't believe we lost half of the gang that sux. Hope everyone is doing great with their challenge!

Im 2 lbs away from my goal and I sure as heck hope to be there by friday, I am working my butt off to get there :D

It does **** that we have lost some ppl, but can you blame them for not wanting to be on the board with all the negativity? I don't.

I didn't fall off the face of the planet i promise!! :) The past week and a half have been the emotional roller coaster from hell for me. Me and my boyfriend had a HUGE fight, plus depressed from not being around my family for the holidays. Not a good combo for me :( But I can say that I have managed to stay on track with my weight loss... I'm down to 250lbs (a weight I havent seen in almost 6 years) as of friday the 5th....I haven't weighed myself since then because TOM decided to poke his ugly head into my life. I'm excited because now I only have 55lbs more to go till I reach my ultimate goal!!! I'm almost halfway there!!!

Hey Ladies -

I have been out of pocket the last few days because I have been out of the office. Logging on from home is such a task because of the kiddies. Anyway I am going to be home again tomorrow so I wanted to post my 4th Week Weigh-In today. I doubt my weight will change much within the next 24 hours.

Anyway, my CW is 218.2, which is a loss of 2.6 pounds this week! Yippee!! Granted I didn't hit my goal of 216 but I am super happy to be out of the 220s!! I feel like I was stuck in them forever! Hopefully, my body has gotten over this latest plateau and I will keep lossing at a 1-2 pound rate a week!!

Congrats everyone on your losses! This challenge has been fun!!

Another great milestone is that I haven't been 218.2 pounds in almost 8 years!!! That's mind boggling to me! WOOHOO!!!

So here is my final weigh in ...201...yeah I feel you there Albobaby, didnt hit my goal by 2 lbs lol. I would have liked to be 199 by today but it didnt work out that way, I feel I will be there soon, I am just going to keep working hard. I havent seen 201 since I left for Germany in November of 07..it went uphill from there, so I am happy that I am back at this weight for now. I need more clothes lol, I dont fit in the big ones, and I am not quite small enough for the small ones...
I had a fun time in this challenge, at least I managed to lose 5 lbs in this challenge lol. How is everyone else?

I started this challenge at 229.8lbs with a goal of 219.8. Well I weighed in this morning at 217.2lbs that's a total loss of 12.6lbs for this challenge!!! :D I honestly have slacked way off on exercising tho so I'm not to proud of that. I think with all the stress of trying to buy a house has helped with the loss lol

Hello all ! I went to the doc. Today I WI at 189.5 and have lost 4in. He said he was very happy about what I have lost so far he said "u r doing really good for ur age" I'm thinkng what does that mean ? Was he trying to say I'm old or what ? What does age have to do with weight loss ?? I wish I could have lost more but ill take whatever I can get ! I hate that this is already over it went by really fast !

OK so I weighed in the morning at 204.5!!!! Which means I beat my goal by a whole HALF of a pound! lol I am just glad I did it! so so happy! I also did my BMI calculation and I am now currently in the "Marginally Overweight" category! woo hoo!
So start weight of 215 to now at 204.5 I have lost 10.5 pounds in this 4 week challenge! I could kiss Mommy2belle, Karen and AlyKat for keeping this challebeg going strong and keeping me motivated, and the rest of you for joining in on this this have also kept me motivated! Thank you ALL!

Well I saw the Dr. today and just as I thought 176.4 lbs which means I gained 2 pounds from last month:( according to their scale but had a total loss of 2 lbs for the challenge. It stinks that TOM decided to come today but I can't blame that, it didn't bend my elbow to my mouth. Excellent job ladies on losing the weight, I am so proud of you.

Wooohooo 262...lost a pound! I know I am way tooo excited about it, but I couldn't be happier that I did not gain! Everyone that stayed did so good! Good job Aly, you are back to where you were when you stopped phen...2 more lbs you can do it!!

I'm here, Sorry! I have been So SWAMPED the past couple of days, I haven't had a second to get on the computer. I did weigh in yesterday... it was 139.6. I'm not sure if you'd qualify that as meeting my goal of 139 or not,... but I'LL TAKE IT!!! It's been a really tough week for me, my kids have soooo much going on, and my husband and I have to fly to Key West next friday for a wedding, so planning for that has been HE*LL. AND I'm having trouble finding a dress I like. UGH!

I'm so proud of everybody who's stuck in there with us for this challenge!!! It sounds to me like GIDGET and VIXENA are our biggest LOSERS! WAY to go girls!! YOU totally ROCKED this challenge!!!!!

Well i know i made this challange so sorry i havent been as active! i work 5 days a week now and when iam home its strictly Belle mommy and daddy time iam not used to being away from her so i feel like iam neglecting her. Anyway iam so proud of everyone even if you didnt make your goal you all were so close and just doing what we are doing is amazing in itsself. I weighed in at 137.8 i lost almost 5lbs iam ok with that i wasnt even close to my goal but i still lost weight so iam happy. I go to the dr on wednesday and iam sooo nervous. Hopefully everyone joined the new Xmas challange. Aly you will be in onderland soon can you taste it?
