Happy Voting Day!

This week's challenge will be to keep to your alloted daily caloric intake and to not eat your entire caloric intake in one meal....;)

Keep focusing on water intake to help the weight loss and keep focusing on exercise...get at least 3 20 minute sessions in a week. That pedometer that Glenna talked about on last week's thread sounds awesome. You can get one at Walmart and it looks at calorie expenditure and how many steps you take in a day. I'm going to have to buy one and see where I am at...she mentioned it was $15.

So. Who's with me this week? I will be focusing on caloric intake and water....I've really got to focus on water intake!!! Why is it such a struggle to get it all down???!!

That would mean I would have to actually write stuff down! I guess I could do that LOL. I usually just keep a running total in my head. I have the water down pat now, of course I pee every 20 mins at work and every hour all night! I am going to get the pedometer for sure, I am getting burnt out on the treadmill and I want to challenge my cousin to see if she gets in her 10,000 steps a day!

Thanks! I got the pedometer, my 5 miles is right about 10k steps! Yesterday it said I walked 25 k steps throughout the day, today it says 18 and a 1/2 k. I didn't spend over an hour looking for bargains today though LOL.

Hello again ladies.

I am in again on this one! I have kind of been slacking on the water intake the last few days, but have been exercising as I should be. I even took my 8 year old daughter with me on my evening stroll - 3 miles! We did the first 1.5, ended up back at the house, and I asked if she wanted to go in or do the walk again - she was game! That'a girl!

The next day, my two daughters, my boyfriend, and I all went for a 3 mile walk. That is huge for him as he needs to start exercising (if you get my drift...). He really needs to drop some weight and I am worried for him - he refuses to go to the doctor!! I just want hime to get a physical and perhaps a mention from the doctor that he should drop some lbs. Anyway, at least he started. He said I have given him motivation to be healthier, so we'll see!

Anyway, I'll be in touch soon...it's 9 pm and almost time for my walk!

YAY for you getting the whole family out! My 15 year old was walking with me, but then he blew off being grounded. Tomorrow he finds out it didn't last LOL. Hubby does the P90 in the mornings along with tai chi and tae kwondo, so he says he has gotten his exercise in and won't walk with me. Yet he demands I take pepper spray! DUH by time I get the pepper spray out I will have already been attacked or bitten by the invisible dog. Much better to take my live in 3rd degree black belt with me don't you think? I haven't slacked on water or exercise, just the fat free potato chips got me! Now for the first time in 3 months I am going to have to take Prilosec! I haven't taken the Phen since Friday and I think I am going to try to go until next Thursday when I see the Dr. without taking it. That way if he doesn't give me more I have enough to get me through Turkey time! I am the designated baker and take great pride in it, so I rarely taste my pies, cookies and cakes. I am pretty good at staying away from that.
