Selfish or Smart?

I have been on Phen now for about two weeks and I’m down 7 pounds. People at my job have been noticing my change in behavior in regards to eating and exercising. They have also started to notice my weight loss and of course with that comes the question “What weight loss plan are you doing?” I tell them (in a matter of fact way) “I’m doing weight watchers, so basically I just watch what I eat and exercise.” (LOL: “Aren’t I a stinker!!!”) Is that selfish? Basically, I just don’t want to hear them lecture me on the dangers of weight loss pills! Plus, I like my little secret! Is that bad? (Sidebar: My best friend has been on Phen for about four months, and she’s down about 35 pounds!! Way to go J!).:D

Not everybody needs to know everything about your life. Especially co-workers!!! It is none of their business specifically how you are losing weight. I tell everyone that I am changing my bad habits. Which I am, I just do not feel the need to say that right now I am getting some help changing those bad habits. And quiet frankly co-workers can be so shady sometimes (not speaking specifically of your co-workers just in general) that I never get into great detail about my personal life with the people I work with.

I WORK FOR MY DR. AND I DONT WANT MY COWORKERS TO KNOW IM ON PHEN SO WHENEVER WE TALK ABOUT IT WE GO INTO A PRIVATE ROOM. AND I HAND WRITE ALL OF MY REFILL REQUESTS. NOTHING ON THE COMPUTER LOL.

I don't think its anyones business and I think your response is fine. Only a few people know I have started the Adipex, mainly because if I go whackadoodle they can say something to me about it. I am not telling my family nor one of my bestest friends because I don't want to hear the lecturing. I am going to do this safely and I am doing Weight Watchers with this, plus will be adding an exercise program in the coming weeks. So when people ask, I will just say WW!

I am voting for SMART. I keep the fact that I am taking phen to myself also. Noone's business but my own !!!! Keep up the GREAT work.
