I was wondering if anyone is taking phentermine with cymbalta?

I have been on cymbalta for a couple of months and I just recently started phentermine. I just wanted to make sure it was safe to take both of these drugs at the same time. I switched from lexapro to cymblata because I felt that lexapro was causing me to gain weight. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone.

I have been on Cymbalta for about 3 years now. I started Phen about 3 weeks ago, only lost 5 pounds so far..UGH...I havent had any problems with taking both pills...

Thanks for your reply. Are you taking 37.5 phen and have you noticed any lessening of phens effectiveness as you continue to take it? I'm wondering if cymbalta acts like prozac to prolong phens effectiveness. Also did you gain weight while on cymbalta?

I am actually on the 30mg. I take the Phen in the morning and the cymbalta before I go to bed, so I wouldnt know about the effectiveness with each other. I have not gained any weight with Cymbalta. My weight gain came from taking amitripiyline for mirgraine headaches.
