View Full Version : New Year - New Me SPRING FLING - COMMIT TO YOURSELF

OK ya'll, here's the deal.... The last challenge got way too overwhelming with so much to keep up with, so this time we're doing a different approach. You've heard of K I S S - right ?? ( Keep It Simple Stupid ) :D
I for one have a hard time with getting motivated, my biggest obstacle is myself. So I am gonna commit to doing the following, and challenging myself this week -
1 - I will drink atleast 64 oz of water daily
2 - Exercise atleast 30 MINUTES 3-4 times this week
3 - Walk or ride exercise bike 2 miles atleast 4 days this week.
ANYTHING ELSE I DO WILL BE BONUSES !! :p
Also, I will do my weigh in every 2 weeks rather than weekly - so HOPEFULLY, I will have something to look forward to !
If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to put them out - we're open to whatever.
Also, if there are any newbies out there who would like to join us, jump on in.
I'm in the process of revamping the yahoo page to make it " SPRINGY " and cheerful.
If any of you would like to submit new photos, mesurements or whatever, send them mine, Motown's, or Amber's way and we can upload them for you. My shape hasn't changed a bit since we posted our photo's in January, but I am gonna post a headshot ( from shoulders up ) since that is the first place you really notice your weight loss. I will do the same the beginning of May to see if there has been any change.
I'm looking forward to this new challenge with my old buddies, and hopefully we'll make some new buddies along the way !!

I am so excited about this new spring start.... I have kinda been slacking and could use the revamp. I am so excited to get to know some more great people on this weightloss journey.
During this challange I will:
Workout at Least 4 times a week
Drink 70 oz of water a day
Run 3 times this week with one run being 4 miles or better
I will update my challanges every week to fit my weekly plan. I love the idea that we challange ourselves. I am going to hold everyone accountable.
In the month of April I want to lose 8-10lbs. I want to tone up my body. I want to quit eating all the food in sight. I want to be one step closer to wearing a Bikini in June. :)
I will take new pictures to compare and I am also going to take a headshot to compare with at the end of the month.
Here is to a great start.... I am going to be rocking the bikini before the summer challange starts...:)

My starting weight for this challenge is 243., as I said I am hoping for a 6 pound loss by the end of the month, and if I can't achieve that, I have no one to blame but myself. I think this is gonna work better for alot of us, as it wont be so overwhelming with all the stuff to keep up with. Just make your goal for the week whatever you feel you CAN do, and it won't be as stressfull on us, and NO ONE WILL BAIL OUT !!!
Motowngirl will be the weight keeper upper :D , so ya'll can either PM her with your weight loss, or post it - whatever. Just whatever you choose to do, K I S S :p.
I'm home from work today, have gotten the worst ear infection - so to start my day off right - I'm heading over to the exercise bike to get some miles in. :D , then later I'll be doing a workout DVD.
Any ideas for what ya'll would like to do with the yahoo page ?? Like I said, I'm doing an overhaul on it, and am up for suggestions....I think it's a cool page to use as far as the photos and database to keep up with stuff, and would like to keep it active. Let me know.

I know that no one has heard from me for a while and I apologize for that, but I got a little (ok, a lot) discourage on the challenge before (with the constant weight gain) and decided that there was only so much that could blame on the scale. I didn't want to weigh everyone down with my personal failures. However, now I've taken so time for myself and I've found a new doctor, so hopefully I will have better luck this time. Hopefully in six months I too can be looking forward to see a 70 pounds weight loss:). My profile has not changed since January so I'd like to use the same pictures. I'll do new measurement because I am fitting into some small sizes. KISS sounds great.

YAY !!! I'm doing the happy dance - SHE'S BACK !!! Just post whatever you feel comfortable with and what you feel you can accomplish for your weekly goal and go from there - K I S S - NO STRESS, NO INTIMIDATION !! We're all wanting the same thing and are here to support each other.

Hello Everybody!!
I am so psyched about starting a new challenge. I have been feeling somewhat down, as the one year anniversary of my father-in-law's death is tomorrow. I think starting the challenge tomorrow will be symbolic of all the things that I have to LIVE for and look forward to. I am grateful that I have been blessed with good health. I refuse to continue to let life pass me by as I sit silently on the sideline, too ashamed of the person I have become to join in on all the fun. I will no longer neglect my body and poison it with garbage. It's time for me to take control of my life, and there is no better time than NOW.
I'm in it for the long haul ladies. I could not have imagined taking this journey with a finer group of gals. :)

wow everyone so glad you are still around...
Renee: that outlook is great we all have so much to live for...
I went and ran today did a 5k faster than I have ever.. which is great.. felt really good. I also stuck to my eating plan I had layed out for the week. I did not slip up once. I did almost skip lunch but then decided to eat so i would not be so hungry later and eat everything in sight. So one day down forever to go...lol

Hey just checking in, stayed home from work today antibiotics are finally kicking in, so I feel much better than yesterday. Ya'll know I've mentioned before about "set backs" go figure I get sick at the start of this challenge ! WTH?? Anyhow- did not do all the exercise that I intended to do yesterday, but todays a new day and will do it.
I'm glad we're all getting motivated with this challenge, and I for one will do my best. I tried on that pair of shorts this morning and they fit !! The only thing is that their a little tight on the backside - who would've thunk it since I have NO a*s !! Oh well, I'll try them on again after I do my weigh in on the 14th.
I've got to beef a minute now, I got this fancy scale last year, and finally programmed it. It measures your body fat and keeps track of each weigh in. Well the body fat thing registered at 43% - ?!?!?!? How the heck does it come up with that ?? My gosh - I'm 5'9" , if I ever weighed 130 ish I'd be nothing but a toothpick !! WITH NO A*S !!! whatever......

Dessie - Sorry the pills are making u sick. I have been slowly weaning myself from them - So, I will be doing it on my own pretty soon too.....but we can do it!
Renee- you look great! What some cute kiddos..

Motown - I am with you...goal weight is to lose SOME weight this month!
Carmen - thanks for all of your encouragement and motivation...hope you are feeling better.
I have sorta good news...On friday, I finally hit 166 lbs..which made it officially 40 lbs lost... I have been waiting to see that # for a LONNNGGGG time. It took forever to get to it...but I was back up to 167 at yesterdays weigh in....my real goal is still 150. So I guess I better get busy that is still 17 lbs to go....
By the way, I lost a total of 13 lbs since the start of our challenge....
I am going to measure and post my updated measurements on the yahoo site within the next few days...still not sure about posting my upclose mugshot on there though...we will see.

Hey Ladies
I am going to give it a good go again to lose some of my thighs for the summer! I really just su**ed the whole month of March and have actually gained weight UP to 168 but can I blame that on TOM I know I need to start my period soon. I just hope that 6 lbs is really water weight!! I like to think that is it because I have lost some inches.
I have stopped taking the phen -- been off since March 1st or so. I am doing the Atking woe and have really not been exercising at all :( No excuses just lazy
Sometimes I feel so darn drained!!

I would love to be able to wear shorts that fit me at both the waist and the thigh area!! That is my biggest problem right now! If I find a pair that fits me in the waist -- they are way toooooooo snug on the thighs (thank you sadlebags) if they fit me on the thighs I need two belts to hold them bad boys on at the waist. ugh

Hello everyone! I have been so busy lately, but I have not forgot any of you. Renee your kids are so cute! How is everything with your son?
Carmen, thank you for the email. I like the new idea's. I know exactly what you are saying about getting sick, it really is a disapointment. I hope you feel better soon.
Does everyone else seem like their lives are more hectic lately? I was talking to a friend yesterday about that and how sex is placed on the back burner. They say it is like riding a bike, you will remember once you get back on :D
My goal this week is to at least do half on thre challenge. Work my way up.
Went to see the Doc yesterday for a refill and I have lost 2 more pounds! That is with clothes on! I only get one more refill, so I have been starting to get a mind set, this is not going to last forever. My son told me I was cheating taking the phen. I hope that when I have my tonsils out I can lose the weight enough that I can start to take less and less of the phen in May, and have a good exercise program set in place.
My pants are starting to get really lose, so I bought a pair of jeans while I was at Costco, and of course they are to small, I guess it was more wishful thinking.
It is good to see everyone sticking to the challenge, regardless of the hectic schedule. That is a total inspiration in it;s own.

Well, the comment about sex being on the back burner - hmm..... NAH - thats pretty much all of my exercise - hubby is built like a brick sh*t house and is one lean, mean, fu**ing machine !! Not too shabby for a 45 yr old guy !! ;)

OK guys, here's to tomorrow.... I haven't taken my phen since the week of Easter, and with the medicines i am on, didn't know if I should or not. So - WTH, I'm starting back tomorrow, and hopefully I can lose a few of these pounds by the 14th.... We'll see...

I just got off the elliptical I bought a couple a weeks ago for home. What a freaking work out. This one here works me more than the one at home. What's up with that. Its a challenge staying on that thing for 10 minutes. After ten minutes I'm sweating and my legs are throbbing. What a work out.

I think tomorrow AM my husband and I are going to attempt to play some tennis. We have played a few times before and I use the word played losely ... take care everyone...

Its 4:18AM in the moring, my knee is swollen so I cant exercise and I can't fall back asleep, now that is crappy. But so far I've been doing well. I noticed when I eat light for dinner my weight loss is successful.

I don't know, but today I am more tempted than ever to hope on the scale. Maybe because I am soooo close to being out of the 220's. I have not done much in the way of exercise this week but my eating has been good. I took an "after" photo for the end of the first challenge but did not see much difference.:( I will take my measurements and hopefully that will be more reassuring.

Hey Ladies!!! Life is TOTALLY hectic. My computer at home is messed up so I can't charge the battery. I hope to get that in the shop by next week. Moving day is getting closer...I am watching my weekender even through some of the week, so I am exhausted. I have him more at my house than he is at his. At least we are good people to be around and hopefully a good example for him and his mom. Who knows. The extra money is nice...especially with over $400 in vet bills last month. Whew...Can I breathe yet?
Also...Carmen I tried that dance workout this mornign (for some reason I was wide awake at 3am and got up to exercise!). Let me tell you, I had so much fun. I was sweating a lot after the 45 minutes was up, and I am not a big sweater (haha). So that was cool. I especially loved the disco part! I did my pilates before that, so this morning was make up for all the crap I have been missing the last week and a half. It's weird going from being at the gym in the morning to finding motivation at home. That's so much harder!!!
I started the phen back up on the first but didn't take it today. I was so wired yesterday and then my blood sugar dropped really low last night. I am not a diabetic but sometimes it drops low. Last night was really really low, to the point I told my son that if I fall over in Walgreens (before getting the gluclose tablets) to tell them my blood sugar is really low. And I don't say things that would scare my son. Usually it's a 5 - 10 minute fix, last night lasted over 5 hours. So I was very hesitant to take it today. I think I am going to do every other day for now.
My goal for this week is to find the motivation and exercise at home 3 times this week. One down, two to go!!! And definately to keep my blood sugar in check!!! That was pretty scary.

Motown that stinks about your knee take it easy. I have had knee surgery two times and knee trouble is not fun. Take some motrin for the pain and swelling it really helps with the swelling.
Renee: Hold off on the weigh in that way you will get doing awesome the next three days and when you do weigh in it will be even sweeter... even though I do want to know..lol

My eating has been really good and water has been good also. I however had to take my 7 year old to the doc today he has a lung infection and they are thinking it might be the very bad one... so put himon the strongest antibiotics she can give with out putting him in the hospital and hopefully we see improvement in the AM or else he might be admitted...really scary so that is what I am dealing with a sick kid all weekend... so much fun... well you all have a great next few days I will check inwhen I can..

I am sorry to hear about your son. Hopefully, the medication will do the trick. My oldest daughter had pneumonia when she was 3, so I know what you are going through. Take it easy this weekend and try to take some time for you.

Call me stupid, but it just occurred to me to check my yahoo mail. I was wondering what email Carmen had sent, and why I never got it---lol. I have updated the database with my ending weight and measurements. I lost a total of 14.4lbs. in the last challenge and nearly as many inches (13 1/2). I was a little disappointed when I did the math on the pounds, but I am totally psyched over losing 13 1/2 inches. I cannot wait until my waist is less than 30 inches again.

Wow! You go girl! 13 1/2 inches is awesome! I am planning on doing some major damage to inches this time around. And I can't wait to have my waist back too. I know looking back, when I got really close to my goal weight last time, my inches goal was 38, 28, 38. And if my waist gets under 28, great. I got to 30 last time. To me, it's much easier to measure your success off your inches and not the weight. At least it's not as depressing to me. :)
I had my weekender unexpectedly last night again. He is really good and not much trouble at all. But we added it up, he has spent the night at my house the last 5 out of 7 nights. Wow! I have a much better understanding of why I am getting so tired. It's like having 2 kids of my own now. How you women do it with two or more kids, I don't know, but I definately commend you for it!
My computer (home) is going in the shop to get fixed on Monday. So work is really the only time I can get on and it's been really busy here. But I will check back in on monday.
Amber, I will keep you in my prayers that your baby gets better!!!

Thanks for the compliment Carmen. I was disappointed to only see 3 inches off my hips. I have always been cursed with more than my share. I did however lose 5 inches off my waist. ;)
This is a picture of me when I was about 5 months pregnant. Funny, I thought I was enormous in this photo. What I'd give to be this size again...lol.

My weekend has not been so great Carmen. My daughter has company, yesterday we ordered pizza for dinner, and I bake homemade chocolate chip cookies. I am kinda afraid to get on the scale now. I SHOULD'VE listened to you and hopped on last week. Oh well, I hope I have not done too much damage.

Okay I'm back and ready to get moving once again. I've been out of town over the weekend and pretty much ate whatever I wanted but I'm ready to get these last 17 pounds off:) Water, water here I come(HAHA). I've also got to redo my measurments and get them in again. Have a great Monday ladies:)

hey everyone...
I am back after a long weekend but thankfully my son is looking alot better and my daughter is doing great also. Hopefully my son is well enough to head to school tomorrow. I have hardly eaten anything this weekend I was fighting a sore throat so not really feeling like eating. I have done good with the water. Hoping this week is better as far as exercising I didnot do any exercise since Thursday night but did workout Monday thru Thursday. Really want to get in more days this week. Thanks for all the well wishes for my kiddos...
Renee the inches is great in the last challange, unfortunately we can not pick where the inches come off... so just keep working and you will see the number continue to drop. Stay away from the pizza and cookies...lol
Kaitlyn and Marie I am glad you two are back...
I did weigh in this AM and the numbers did not budge.. still standing at 174. I was hoping at least a lb loss but nope. I do feel bloated and just all together puffy so hopefully this next week I will have some good numbers.

I am hoping that everyone else who has not checked in lately is doing well. We would all like to hear from you.
I vote that we weigh bi-weekly from now on. This month has been going well for me (with the exception of this weekend), and I don't want to ruin it with a lousy weigh-in. I will post my weight next Monday.

hey ladies I need help!!
I stopped taking the phen at the begining of March and even w/ diet and exercise I just can't lose weight. I really wanted to lose this darn weight by myself w/o the phen but I feel so desperate I may just go back to the Dr this weekend -- like you Dessie I am wanting to run and get more pills. i am afraid if I do though I will be out a hundred bucks and at the end of the script be right back here. I have lost some inches but you can't tell and I feel like I am getting no where. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this after stopping the phen. I swear I am not eating out of cotroll or anything my body just doesn't want to let the darned weight go. what do I do now?

DIdnt take Phen this morning----woke up a little late (around 8) and thought that may be too late....so Im going to try for tomorrow.
I found a workout buddy and am 2 for 2 now (4 miles walked in 2 days)!!
Maybe Ill see some results at hte weigh-in!

Slow week for me too. Took phen yesterday, skipped today, will take it again tomorrow. Hoping for maybe some sort of loss this week - but if not, I completely understand - at least those dang Reese's eggs are out of my house !! BWAAAA HAAA HAAAA :gulp: .....

i always just throw the candy away--and peeps forget it - they are like twinkies and could survive for years w/o going bad. I bought sidewalk chalk and bubbles for the Easter baskets this year and only enough candy to have it eaten in a day. and it was not eaten by me for once!!

Holly, I need help too!! I am still taking it most days (on last bottle) however, it just doesn't seem to be working anymore...I seem to be getting more hungry and more hungry lately...and I just absolutely have no energy to excercise. Sometimes I wonder if I have chronic fatigue syndrome or something. I mean I worked out more when I was 40 lbs heavier than now. I don't understand how I have lost this much weight and feel worse than I used to. Some days it really depresses me. Maybe it is the medication. Maybe I will stop it all together and see if there is a change. Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions..

Hi All!
O.k. we have 5 days 'til our next weigh in. We all need to pop in those dvd's Carmen was kind enough to make for us, and get in our "last minute" workouts. Bikini season is just around the corner, and we can ALL enjoy it, if we get serious (myself included) and do the work.
Is it possible to coordinate our workouts? That way we know that we are not alone. Just a thought.
Let's get moving ladies, this is our time to SHINE.:)

Jennifer I feel just like you do! I think it has taken me the entire month of March to sort of "recover" I have more energy this month but I started taking a ton of vitamins. I am also determined to stay eating low carb because I do feel better when I don't eat carbs.

Greekgirl, I have decided to go low-card also. I have never really counted carbs, but before gainin weight, I always restricted them. I am struggling with staying away from fruits though. Let me know how it goes for you. :)

Hey everyone...
I totally get the feeling of it being a bit different after taking the phen. It did take my body a while to adjust to not being on the phen but now I feel normal and can actually tell my body is changing since stopping. I think it just takes away for your body to recover and take over the job that phen was doing. I would say if you are feeling down then talk to your doc and try the phen maybe it will help and it will give you piece of mind rather it is the phen you are missing or if you need to change up your routine. I know for me this last 30lbs are going to be hard to lose... i am going to give it my best shot though...lol

Renee you keep up the good work and we can be rocking the bikini together this summer... I am so wanting to.. I actually bought a pair of board shorts and can just imagine myself walking down the beach in June with a sporty bikini top and board shorts look all hot... visualization is really important in weightloss so visualize yourself the way you want to be...
Carmen I demand you to get rid of all the candy.... all candy throw it away.. if you want your kids to have it have them hide it... whatever you have to do ... do not eat the candy.. it is not worth it...lol
Jennifer : Thank you so much for the comments... I have come a long way but still have a ways to go... but cannot believe the before picture was me, looks like a stranger... so glad she is gone... forever...
Jelycoes: Keep kicking butt if you are doing lowcarb your body will eventually lose you cannot get frustrate.. are you sticking to a strick lowcarb or just watching your carbs? If you have been doing low carb for a while.. maybe take a break for a week eat carbs again... and then start over... kinda shock your body again.,. I know it works for me when I am in a slump..
Anipsed: Great with the walking.. and it makes it soooo much easier having a partner.. so keep up the good work and you probaly needed the extra sleep this AM...
Marie: Good job staying away from the easter candy... I also did not buy any but my sons school gave them so much candy at the party that you would have thought we robbed a candy factory... and then grandparents and so on and so on... we just get them a few toys they want and we have a treasure hunt instead of a easter egg hunt...

Well I chickend out AGAIN and didnt take the Phen this morning....
Im scared of feeling like I did that one time (you know, heart beating out of my chest)!!
But the good news is Im feeling really good these days...could it be the walking :D And yes, Im heading to the gym later tonight to get in 2 more miles! This will be the most miles Ive walked in 1 week in 2008 (6 counting tonight)....and we still have tomorrow....
I will probably do elliptical on Friday and Saturday because I lose the walking partner on weekends
Who is doing walking each week?
Gottado--I know you are running. How many miles do you do a week?
And puhleese dont talk about reese's eggs---those darn things are soooo good! and sooo bad!
And Greek Easter is on April 27th ---so Im trying to avoid those if at all possible.

how is everyone today?? We had a heck of a rain storm last night....some places got tornados but thank goodness not here where I am. I am off to a great start today...feeling really motivated!! i have to paint today...wonder how many calories you burn in an hour doing that?!?!?! Will get a real workout in this morning before I head out! Just to let everyone know how I am taking my pill.... my doc gave me the 37.5 blue/white pill. I really can't stnad to take a whole one everyday....my body can't take it so on most days I only take 1/2 in the morning around 6:30........today I am going to try and start taking the other half everyday around 3:30......see how that does. SOOOOOO excited to be part of the group!!

Anipsed: I am averaging like 15 miles per week running I would like to get it up to close to 20 but right now I am doing a step class twice a week so harder to make the 20 maybe one the summer starts I can run more often. great job getting in the miles and I am sure the walking is making you feel much better. I would suggest if you want to try the phen again try the pill in half or even a quarter and see if you notice any of the side effects you had before if not stick with the half a dose. But if you are doing good without it then go on with your badself. Maybe just take if for your easter celebration.,.. stay away from the reeses eggs... they are pure evil....lol
Marie... I was wondering if you were still around you are sooooo quiet.... keep walking everyday... I bet you feel awesome .. I love walking outside right now the weather is sooo nice... I better enjoy it before it gets to hot here...
Jenn08: I am so glad you joined the group... Painting you paint that is a cool talent I so wish I had... I would say if you are standing and painting throw in a few squats and arm extentions and you have yourself a workout... I am glad you did not get the bad weather. I would like to say since you are thinking about taking the second half of the pill that taking it at three might give your trouble falling asleep(not sure what time you go to bed) so if you notice that just take it a bit earlier. I was also taking the 37.5 blue speckled ones but I took them every other day... so you will find what works for you... hope you had fun painting.
Carmen.... I would like to chat tonight,..I have step class at 5:30 but should be back in time to join the chat. How are you doing on the soda addiction? I do not have restraint I know this so I do not bring the stuff in my house if the kids get all that candy I give them a few days to chow down and then I trash it.. my kids however are not big candy eaters my husband is and he takes most of it to work for the other guys.,..you are going to lose 1lb this week... positive self talk.. imagine what stepping on the scale and see 1lb down will feel like ... you can do it...:)

WHOO-HOO!!! I weighed in at 171.6 this morning and I am loving it. So I lost 6 pounds:) Of course the week before last week I eat whatever I wanted for 3 days because we were out of town, so I guess it jump started my weight loss again and maybe some water weight too. But I don't care I am stoked:) Hope everyone does awesome as well. Oh BTW, I didn't keep up with my water but I walked everyday.
Does anyone in our challenge here have Turbo Jam and wouldn't mind making me a copy. I will gladly give you money for the dvd and shipping?:)

OK, so yesterday I stepped on the scale and was actually down 1 lb, I was good with that considering the reese's eggs and peeps conspiracy going on at my house :D, then Friday was my son's birthday made brownies Thursday night, and ate ONLY 1 !!
Sunday we had a little party for him, made a chocolate on chocolate cake ( my ABSOLUTE favorite ) - you bet your sweet A S S - I ate that too, WITH ice cream, didn't take my phen since Thursday, forgot all about my buddy WATER, bonded with Dr. Pepper over the weekend, and then to top it all off by the time yesterday evening rolled around that pesky little guest TOM showed up- WTH ??? :confused: OK, so why not have fried chicken and mashed potatoe for dinner ?? UMM, UMM, UMM...............
So, with all that being said and done I'm up 3 lbs since yesterday morning. D A M N.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, MY WEIGH IN FREAKIN S U C K E D !!
I call for a REDO - who's with me on this one ??? Come on, don't be bashful, who else bombed and wants to second my redo ?? Come on, I'm counting on someone to have my back - GIRLS ?!?

Hey group! I'm here and still alive (i think). I have a horrible cold (flu maybe?) but I do believe I am better today. Of course the beer got me when I was painting saturday but then I got sick so that squashed any sunday drinking. The weekends are VERY hard for me.....we are all pretty much "weekend warriors" so between drinking and grillin......its a real battle friday thru sunday. On a good note....I am down 3 pounds from when I started the challenge!!! WWOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I am finally moving on the scales again!! I am today at 166.
I take magnesium supplements for constipation on the Atkins. I take 400mg with a meal every day. I also have learned to eat every last bit of carbs allowed with vegetables and not too much cheese. I have like two salads a day and one big serving of vegetables at dinner. IT really helps to fill you up plus it helps with the flow ;)

Hey Raquel!
Glad you are still with us. Our last challenge got a little overwhelming, so this time around, we all vowed to committ to ourselves, thus the name of the challenge. For me this means continuing to say no to Coke (cola), and always being mindful of my portions. I am doing my best to get in some exercise each day, but I aim for no less than 30 minutes 3 times a week.
If you need something a little more concrete, or structured, Gottado is great with creating workout regimines, and as you can see she is also kicking some serious butt.
I am running out to pick up the kiddies be back in a couple of hours....

Okay...so Kinda woohhoooo and kinda not....
So this morning I weighed in at 165. ... pretty good huh? Except for the fact that I weighed in at 163 on Saturday and decided that I was doing so good I thought I could gorge myself the next two days...shame on me...but at least I still lost some... I have GOT to quit "rewarding" myself with food when I have a loss...go buy something instead...ugh...
I did break out the biggest looser and worked out a couple of times...and believe it or not I was sore in the exact places I need to lose the most.. the sides of my stomach and my chest and back..yeah. I will continue them. Thanks, Carmen.

Hey yall - hope everyone is doing alright this week. So far this week I have done good, started back on Phen Monday and have drank ONLY WATER !! I am have not been feeling well lately. Not that I am ill just feeling very blah....
Sherry I am so happy that you are seeing some improvement already. I hear that is a really good sign. You'll be 100% soon. Like Carmen said, chin up. Let me know when you start training for your race, I'll do it with you.:)
I have not taken my phen in a few days, and I cancelled my follow-up appointment today. Ironically, I have not had an appetite at all. Hope you guys are doing better than I am.

Carmen, you can kick that soda habit. I was a Coke head for a while, and went 5 years without one soda Coke or otherwise. Now when my husband has a Coke it doesn't even tempt me.

Renee: I take the magnesium and calcium supplements and they seem to be keeping me regular.. I was having a lot of trouble in that area but since starting those(seen it on Oprah with Dr.Oz) it has done the trick... glad you are staying on track and forcing yourself away from the blah.. :) My determination is coming from the countdown to our vacation... umm I have six weeks til we leave for Orlando... the idea of wearing a bathing suit in public is motivation every day... oh yeah not to forget taking a picture for you all to see.,....
Greekgirl: it sounds like you are doing good so far this week keep it up over the weekend and I am sure you will have a good weigh in. Yeah the whole bathing suit thing is enough to give me nightmares.... I am looking forward to it in one aspect because it is motivating me but on the other hand I am terrified by the thought... I better go do some crunches while I am thinking about it... :)

hello friends.. how are you doing? Just giving an update.. . this past saturday I had to go back to the ER because my eye sack filled with fluid they said I got an infection from not being able to close my eye.. gave me somedrops and that is getting better.
My husaband says he can see a difference in my face and to me that is an answered prayer.Thank you for those have have taking time out of yours to pray for me it is helping ..please I ask do conitnue.I am still waiting to blink my eye and my mouth is not right.. still not a lot of feeling on that side either.. but I am starting to get twitches and that is great!!! ;) As for the job i am still waiting to hear something I pray she will call me this week and say I have the job.. We desperately need it!! Now as for weight loss I have lost 7lbs!! Can not believe it... I have been eating like a cow!! :p
Everyone here is looking good.. I am going to take time tomorrow to go back and read over everyones post and I will get back with you! hugs to each and everyone one of you! I want to say .. thank you for being such great caring friends!:D

Sherry I remember something similar with my uncle he had to wear an eye patch to help it.. and put drops in it all the time.. glad it is getting better and a big congrats on the 7lbs that is awesome.
Renee: Did you lose any this week or are you waiting to weigh in? I did see your thread about the 6 week plan I am going to opt out of that for now.. but good luck to you.. I am sure you are going to have amazing results...
Everyone else where are you and how did you do this weekend... i was out of town most the weekend but I did really well on the eating.. I went and played tennis for 3 hours and it was so much fun. I had a good weekend. I stepped on the scale this am and it was down one lb... I was hoping for a bit more but at least it is a lb down.. Hope everyone is doing well..

Good afternoon ladies. I did fairly well last week. I was sick from Tues to Saturday so no workouts...but the eating went well. I actually saw 162 on the scale Sat morning. Then, of couse, the evil TOM struck out of nowhere (a week early) and by Sunday I was at 164 and by this morning my bloated up belly was back at 165. But that is with TOM so hopefully next Monday I can show I lost some lbs lost.
I did look around for some swimsuits this weekend.. haven't found THE ONE yet.

Hey ya'll - sorry I have been MIA. Have been swamped at work, and was having computer problems at home. ANYWHO- have lost 2 of my 3 pounds that I gained last week. So NOW, I have only 7 more to go by next weeks weigh in ! HA ! What a trip !!
Renee - I saw your thread on the body makeover thing, I think I might like to try it. I got on their website and did the quiz. It said I was a " B " body, so if you have the info and don't mind sending it, I'd like to see what it's all about.

OK, my goal for this week is to ride that exercise bike everyday for 8 miles - 4 in the morning, and 4 in the evening, take my pill consistantly and hope for those 7 pounds to be gone by next Wednesday !! Yeah, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed - I'd be happy with any kind of loss !!

im here...ive been working my butt off :D yes....working out!!!
i started with a workout buddy about 3 weeks ago and we are up to 3 miles of walking/elliptical/treadmill with high incline per night (Monday - Thursday)! :D
Who would have thought I would be doing this!!
I feel great....no pounds gone...but maintaining so far...the pounds (or at least inches) should start melting off in no time (I wish by May 1st) but probably not that quickly...definite results by May 30th...I did lose 2 inches off of my waist since Jan 1st (per the database on yahoo)....everything else is same! [even the thighs, and i thought for sure id see a difference there from all the walking!)
Good to see everyone is still working hard! Good luck and 1 week until May 1st [next weigh-in]....will YOU be ready?

SOOO today some good news and not so good news...
I had a dr appt to check my thyroid levels and this is my family Dr who also gave me the phen in Oct and I had not been back to the dr since Jan becaues I had not ben taking the phen so felt there was no need for the monthly visits.... so today he walked in and said I am not giving you any more Phentermine... I was like HUH and he said you no longer meet the qualifications your your BMI is with in the normal range.. so there ya go.. I am normal...lol but cannot have phen anymore... so here is to doing it on my own... which I have been doing since Jan but now I have nothing to fall back on...
I am doing pretty good this week as far as exercise and eating.. hope to keep it up for the rest of the week it seems that the second half of the week si always harder for me...
Hope everyone is doing well.... Anipsed great job on your workout regimen... you will notice a difference and the weight might slowly come off because you are building a bit of muscle so keep measuring also.
Carmen great job on the weightloss how are you doing on the Soda and chocolate still staying away... keep up the great work...
I am still looking for a bathing suit.. have found a couple I like just cannot bring myself to buy one cause I will not wear it out in public with my stomach like it is.. so here is to dropping the spare tire.. so I can get a new bathing suit... Enjoy the rest of your week everyone...

I am still here, still feeling really FUNKY!!! I have not taken phen in over a week. I will start back in the morning, hoping that will pick me up.

Wow you are still alive... I was beginning to wonder. I have done pretty good this week. I guess the scale will tell the true tell tomorrow. Thursday I went to a class at my gym that truely kicked my butt I had muscles sore on Friday that I did not know I had... then Friday I had scheduled a session with a personal trainier this whole bathing suit thing has me terrified and I was already waaaaaaaaaay sore.. but she kicked my butt to a whole different level... so I have some great ideas to shed this fat that is stored all over my body... she said I should be doing at least 45 minutes of cardio because anything under 30 minutes you are not burning fat... so here is to making sure I am going for 45 minutes... I hope you all are doing well... I will check back in tomorrow after I weigh in... :)

Happy Monday back at ya !!
OK- so I didn't have the miraculous 6 pound drop that I was hoping for, go figure.... I lost 1 whole pound !!
So after the candy / coke blowout from a couple of weeks ago - i stayed even !! Thank God for redo's !!
For this month my goal is to do the BL workouts starting today, along with riding the exercise bike, and doing the ab lounger. I am not stating a certain number that I want to lose - I just wanna lose SUMTHIN' !!!

Happy Monday, Ladies!! Hope all of you are well.
Well, I will have to wait until tonight or preferrably tomorrow morning to give my weigh-in. I was running WAY late and did not get a chance to get on the scale.
I almost positive there will not be a loss. My abs feel thick and my legs feel bulky....It's that biggest loser....working me and building that muscle... I will not be upset though. I know that muscle weighs more and will eventually help me to burn more calories.
In the past 3 weeks I have only taken 3 pills. I think I will be able to do this on my own. I'm not sure if I will try to get a re-fill or not...still contemplating. The only difference is without them, I don't drink near the amount of water that I used to and noticed I have drank a few too many diet cokes...oh no, don't want to get that started again...
Can't wait to hear about everyone elses progress this week.

Well I had a pretty good week went down three lbs so I am now at 170. I am excited for the 170 but hopefully next week I will see the 160's. I started doing weights now so not sure if that is going to make me stand still for a bit or speed up the weightloss either way that is my new thing. I also have not taken phen in a while and I do feel I can do it on my own...I guess I really have no choice since the doc said I am normal now...
Renee come on you can do this.. all it takes is one day to change your routine... do something new today to make yourself feel better.. just something small that is working toward your goal... you can do it.
Carmen Great job on the one pound ... one pound is one pound. I bet if you start the biggest loser this week and do it as much as you plan you will have a big week. Now that is motivation. You can do it.. I challange you to do biggest loser at least three times this week... can you do it?
Jennifer: How often are you doing the biggest loser? I need to do it on the days I cannot make it to the gym, I have been walking outside alot more and try to do it for a longer period of times on days I do not hit the gym. I just need to do better on the weekends. If i would have stayed on track over the weekend I probaly would have been in the 160's. Keep up the good work...
Everyone else how did you do this week? Come on give me the good, bad, and the ugly... Hope everyone is having a great Monday...

Well, it was as I expected...No loss...165 lbs this morning. But I am good with that because I am starting to excercise alot more.
Amber - So far, I am just on the 1st BL DVD and it says to do it six days a week and alternate each week from workouts 1& 3 and 2 &4 . I did it 2 times the week before last and 3 times last week. The 1st 2 weeks I did the low impact/toning and this week is high cardio and bootcamp...the high cardio really made me sweat last night. I guess next is Bootcamp....not sure what to expect....I will eventually work up to at least 4-5 times a week. I hope! My body is definitely adjusting and I am starting to get more energy.
Carmen, come on girl....if my lazy tail can do it, so can you.....I'm challenging you too.....

I started a pilates class last night, and I am feeling better this morning. I started doing pilates a few years ago, but last night being the first time back at it in a LONG time, it was a little challenging, but I loved it.
This week, I am committed to doing the BL workout at least 3 days. I would love to lose at least 5lbs this week and be out of the teens. So I am pulling out the big guns and getting serious---FOR REAL!!
Motown & Sherry, I hope you guys are both recovering well.

I just wanted to jump in and say hello. I'm Andie ....No time to read all of the post in this thread. After reading the first page I knew I'd like to join. Just looking for a group that is simple to keep up with. I like the K.I.S.S method of things. I'm not new to phen. I haven't taken anything for a yr, and have gained a little over 10 pounds during that time. I am a gym rat, so it's not the lack of exercise, and I do eat well 80% of the time. It is VERY discouraging when you know you're doing the right things and not seeing the changes that you deserve. Saw my new Dr yesterday and she prescribed Phen-d 105mg. I'm new to Phen-d, and hoping for 2 pounds a week. Of course I'd love to see more, but right now I would be EXTREMELY happy with anything.

It seems like you are off to the right track and welcome to the group.. we are more than happy to have you. It sounds like you are doing all the right things so the two pounds a week I am sure will be no big deal.
Renee: Great start... just stick to your goal. everytime you do the biggest loser let us know so we can give you a big pat on the back for staying on goal. You are doing awesome and will be seeing those teens before you know it..:)

I went to my monthy weigh in yesterday and asked for Adipex instead of phentermine to see if I "feel" a difference. Anyway, I am starting the 6 Day Mini Makeover on Sunday, and planning on losing at least 10lbs this month.

The Biggest Loser is definitely helping. I am down a couple of pounds already. I have more energy and am actually feeling more positive. So, I will continue to TRY and stay on track...
I actually bought a bathing suit this weekend. I am soo nervous..It is the first one I have owned in about 10 yrs. It is a 2 piece but not a bikini. It is a halter tankini w/ boy short bikini bottoms....and yes, the main color is black. Ha!

Hi Everyone,
I know what you are all thinking, (oh, her again:D), well I'm back. I just wanted to check in on you folks to see how it's been going. You'll seem to be doing fine, so keep up the good and continue heading towards each of your individual goals. As for me, no downward motion on the scales, but I've assessed the situtation and I am taking steps towards correcting the problem. On another note, (and those of you that are mothers will probably know what I'm talking about) I've reached total Mommy Burnout, after over eight months of being a single stay at home mother, I am not only ready but also dying to get back to work. I am also going back to school, I have only 8 more classes before I get my Accounting or Finance degree and I stopped going a couple of years ago, so it's time for me to complete that task. Also, did anyone notice that after having there child/children, that they got sick (such as with the cold, flu, etc.) a lot more frequently? Anyway, enough about me, it's been great chatting with you guys.

Hey guys ! Haven't weighed in yet, I will on the 15th. Renee & I started the 6 week body makeover quick start diet this week, so far it ain't too bad ! ( But then again this is ONLY day 2 ). We're also doing the BL workouts atleast 3 times a week. We're gonna do this ( quick start ) every couple of weeks, so if any of yall want to join us we'll be doing it again around the 19th, I'll let you know the definite date as we get closer.

I am working hard to stop finding excuses for not doing what I need to do. At first it was, everyone else is losing more than me, phentermine must be stronger than phenD, so I switched. Then it was well name brand must work better, so again, I switched. Now I am fully equipped to kick fat in the a.s.s. and with brand name Adipex, and NO MORE EXCUSES. I am in this to win it. Time to show and prove.

I actually sent you the PM before I read that yesterday was your anniversary so CONGRATS on that. Your new picture looks amazing you have a beautiful smile. I hope you enjoyed your day and you deserve a great dinner and a piece of cake all of us Moms did yesterday. I know I had two chocolate chip cookies and did not feel a bit of guilt.
So everyone guess what happened to me this past week I went to buy a few pair of workout pants/tanks and I had to buy a medium pant... now it probaly was not a true medium because I am wearing a 10 pant but still a medium sooo that is my big news... I wore a medium...off to have a great week because my bathing suit is haunting me...lol

Jennifer, congrats on the weight loss. It's always good to see movement on the scale when it's in the right direction.;)
I have had a pretty good week so far, made it to my pilates class on Monday, and I have another one tonight. I plan to be nice and lean before summer is over.
Amber don't worry about weigh in on Monday. I know for sure you will be in the 160's by then. :)
I don't know Marie, let's just hope the warm weather has drawn everyone outdoors.

Hey Girls - I'm here ! Had a good week last week, Renee & I did the 6 week body makeover jumpstart thing and as of Saturday, was down 5 lbs. Then go figure, Sat. afternoon TOM shows up....... Then get put on steroids for my asthma....... So by the time weigh in rolls around on Monday, I should be up by 15 - WTF ?? I'm ok with it, like I have said before, I am the QUEEN of One step forward - Two steps back !! But I am so glad ya'll are doing good.
This place has gotten so crazy with BS over the last few weeks, I haven't been on here much, kinda waiting for things to get back to normal.
I agree Marie, we definitely need a redo - so far my week has been shot to hell !! I just have to tell ya'll what I ate today. With the steroids, you can take 6 at once on the first day to get started, so I did. Then there is the appetite from hell. JUST TODAY = I have had a half bag of cheeto's ( not the full size bag, the smaller one that you get at a convenience store for 99 cents ), a partial bag of skittles and a 20 oz mello yello ( lasted til 6 pm ).
Half a burger, fries, a 99 cent bag of frito's, started ANOTHER bag of skittles, and a bag of M & M's........ Can we say munchies - kinda like being a kid after smoking a joint :p. BAD JUJU ........ But next week will be BETTER !!!!!! :D

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I had a crappy day yesterday too. I had Froot Loops for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and lots of snacks in between. For dinner, I did try to turn it around, and had baked chicken w/ greens. Today has only been slightly better. At this point, I am fearing weigh in on Monday, I will however weigh in no matter what. I have got to learn that my actions have consequence, one of which is inevitable weight gain.:(
Hope everyone is doing better than I am right now.

HOT D.A.M.N. YOU ROCK!!! You have lost nearly 50lbs. That is AMAZING. No putting off weigh-in for me. My 2yr old just deposited himself in my lap. but I am going to grab him some yogurt and hop on the scale. :)

Thanks Camen! I was hoping for 5lbs, but I will take it. I am really monitoring my food intake this week and I will be no more than 206lbs come next Monday morning. So I am gonna lose 5lbs this week, or I will die trying.:) As for what I am gonna do, I am heading to my pilates class in about an hour and going to get my butt kicked again.

Okay ladies let me tell you, last week I eat pretty much what I wanted for like 4 or 5 days and got back up to 175. Well I jumped right back on and weighed in on Monday and had got back down to 169. Yesterday morning I was craving a chocolate donut from our local bakery so on the way to take the kids to school I went by there(OH-NO)!! I sent my step daughter in and she come back with 2 for me, I never touched them! They stayed in my microwave until last night and I feed them to my kids which they loved:) I was so proud of myself, needless to say TOM showed up this morning so I now know why I wanted them chocolate donuts so bad(lol).

I always start to get excited around Thursday, knowing that the weekend is not too far away.
I absolutely LOVE your new picture. You look great! I know that weight is a very personal thing, but you look fine to me. I don't know where you gonna find 10lbs to lose. :D

Thanks alot:) Everyone tells me that I need to stop but I think I'm gonna get between 150-160 and work on staying there. That would probably be a good weight and size for me. I am in between a 12 and a 14 now so I should be in a comfortable 12 by then. I too get excited for the weekend. I don't know why I guess because I can sleep in a little and I don't have to babysit and I don't have to worry about getting the kids up and ready for school. Oddly enough I am not ready for school to be out for the summer(lol).

Hey all. Just checking in. Renee and Marie you guys look absolutely awesome . I wish I was brave enough to post a pic...ugh...I hate my pics.
I started jogging the track 3-4 times a week. I think this has really helped to start the weight coming off again. So, I am going to keep that up for awhile...I actually bought a size 10 in capris yesterday (they were stretch material..oh well!)

Hey girls- so, I'm off the Prednisone and up ALOT ! I just can't even bring myself to post my weight this week, but I will say that I gained back the 5 that I lost PLUS some. The steroids are the only thing that help with my asthma, thankfully, I only have to go through this twice a year !
Jennifer & Marie - ya'll are SO CLOSE to your goal weight, that is wonderful !! I am so proud of ya'll !!
Jennifer - be proud girl, post a picture. If not on here, you can do it on the Yahoo page. I WANNA SEE..... I need all the motivation that I can get !
Renee - I am looking forward to doing the jumpstart challenge again next week, and I will do my best to eat all the meals, it was just really hard trying to eat so much at work. But even if I can lose 5 pounds again, I'll take it !
OK, so here's the deal, the steroids are out of my system now.... I took a phen today, and see - I'm up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 1:30 AM !! Today is a new week, no asthma attacks SO FAR.... So I am hoping to break even at a starting weight of 245 for next week. OUCH ! Whatever, it's all good...... Yeah, right !

GOOD MORNING LADIES !!! Yesterday was day 2 of starting back on the pill..... Woke up at 4 this morning, so its getting better ! I went to the health food store and got some of that Liquid B Complex that everyone has been talking about, so I am gonna try it this morning. I had to taste it last night - umm.... taste like PURE HELL !! :eek: But hopefully I will see some type of results with using this crap. ( We'll see )

Marie--DRINK THAT WATER! I know it is uncomfortable but you will feel better in the long run. I guess there is something in the air because I am starting to feel a cold coming my way as well. Also make yourself a nice cup of tea with honey and lemon.
I know that I said I was staying away from the scale this week, but fool that I am, I just had to take a peek. Well.......... I am down to 208.4 this morning, so even after the horrible weekend I had, I managed to lose 3.4lbs. For once, in my life, I am glad that I did not do as I said I would. :)

Thank you Carmen. I am trying my best to stay on top of my workouts, and get a least 4 days in. Now that you are done taking medication for your asthma, it won't take you long to start seeing some results. Starting gathering the things we need for the mini makeover it will be June before you know it. Can't wait to get started, we are going to kick butt!:)

Alright ladies, it time to get serious! Swimsuit season is upon us and we ALL need to get in gear. I am posting a contract that each of you can print out and sign, making a committment to yourself, which is what this challenge is all about. I posted this in another thread but figured I should do it here too.

Hey everyone. I'm so sorry I have disappeared for so long. With moving and a few other things I have been stuck in my head and haven't done much of anything. Here I go again. You all have been thought about a lot.. I have been so busy at work I haven't had time to write and don't want to deal with the computer when I get home. But I have been putting this off for the whole month, so it's time to get my head back in the game.
The move has been wonderful. My son and I are so happy!!! That's wonderful. I joined a gym by my house and oh have mercy....one of the owners is drop dead sexy!!!! You know that should give me motivation. (But it hasn't yet). So anyhow, my son leaves for the summer to my parents in a week and usually when I really want to make a big change in my life it's while i have time when he is gone and then it's habit by the time he comes home.
So here is to starting over...again!!!! I am seriously considering stopping the depo shots. I seem to maintain the weight I gained but haven't been able to loose it. So we will see what happens in the next few months. If I don't loose anything again, I will stop taking that shot and go from there. They say the IUD doesn't have any effect at all on your weight. Anyone know about that?
Nice to see you all again and I am so sorry it took me so long to get out of my funk. :)

Happy Saturday !! I went and got my grub for the 6 day body makeover challenge, am looking forward to dropping some poundage. I am going to do my best to get all of the meals in, its just really hard to do it at work.
In addition to the mini makeover, my goals for the week are:
STAY AWAY FROM SKITTLES , MELLO YELLO AND STEROIDS !! :D
Exercise atleast 30 minutes daily.
Drink water, water, water !!!
And REMEMBER to take my pill !!!

Well, I am the same this week. 157 lbs...drat!!! I was down to 156 but treated myself to a big fat ribeye....and boy was it yummy!!! So, I will run this evening and the rest of the week (hopefully) and get it back down..

Jennifer, thanks for checking in and bumping this thread, I have been too lazy to search for it, and I have gotten sidetracked every time I attempted to do so.:) I am still here too. It's been a crazy week for me. I had a funeral to attend on Monday, and the rest of the week has been filled with last minute "must do's" for my daughters eighth grade graduation, which is Monday.
I did not weigh in this week because of TOM. I NEVER step on a scale during that time. Although I know the weight gain is only temporary, it messes with my mind.
OMG... Kaitlyn, you are back!!! Happy to see you and know that you are doing well. Don't stay away so long lady.
Cindy, stop teasing us. Are you gonna stick with us or not...lol. ;)

Hey Ya'll, I'm here..... Been MIA due to my folks having health issues. My Dad has prostate cancer and his PSA levels were high and had to have a biopsy done, just got the results today. The cancer is not back, but there is another mass they're watching. My Mom has had some heart issues and has had to wear a monitor for the last month and goes in for her follow up tomorrow. STRESS !! To tell you the truth, I have just been worn out. Starting Monday I will be getting back in to the swing of things. I HAVE GOT TO ! I have missed you girls !

hey everyone Thank you very much for your concern.she is doing a lot better!!!! As for me I just got a job last week! I am working at a hospital in outpatient surgery. I love it! It is truely a blessing. Also they have a gym there with showers so I am going to start wednesday working out m-f every morning at 7:30 am I dont have to start my shift til 10:30 am So I will have 3 hours to workout shower and eat. I have made a commitment to myself and my husband is getting invloved even though he is skinny!! He is going to start doing P90X to shape his body but we are chaning the way we eat ... he is going to make our dinners and we are going to eat the same thing. I have turbo jam and love ii but with everything going on I have not been able to do it. Now everything is right and my time is now. I k now I can do this I guess it has finally just clicked with I kno wI have to workout! The best thing is I can not chicken out from working out because me and my husband share a car he has to be at work for 730AM so there is no where for me to go but to the gym!! This is what I need! I am sure I will not be postin gmuch on the week days due to my work schedule woring 10:30 - 7:30PM but I will be sure to check in now on the weekends! I also wanted to let you guys know about a website I found that is free and it helps you with you calories and it gives you a chart to eat by and shopping list ... I love it also... you may have heard about it It is wwwdotsparkpeopledotcom I love it I will post my page here so you can view it.. if you join please add me on your page I would love that! I hope everyone had a wonderful july 4th! Oh yeah and I am still getting better with the bells palsy my eye will still not blink BUT my smile is halfway back!!! Thank yuo for your prayers!!

Well, I am the same this week 155 lbs...but I am on the final days of TOM...maybe I will weigh again in the morning...the bloating is finally going away...ha ha

Hello All!
I would like to just put something out there for everyone to think about.
It seems that our group has fallen apart, and I have too. SO, I think it is time to revamp this challenge. Let start fresh. NO looking back.
As of today I am up 9lbs from last week. :mad:
I really need the structure of a good solid group. Are you guys still up for the challenge?

I'm still here Renee...I am always up for support...been on vacation is why I have been online...but get a little depressed when I don't have you guys to push me...like I have no support.. So I am always in and up for it...I just wished everyone would come back.........
So, been having a rough week and actually have not been eating well or hardly at all...so this week my weigh in on Monday was 152 lbs...that is 3 lbs down from last week.....but definitely not the proper way to achieve lasting results...not even happy about it...ugh definitely in a funk from life, marriage, work etc....
So lets get it rolling ladies....y'all come out!!!! Renee and I need you guys!!!!!!!

Pleeze girl but thanks:) You see those pants I'm wearing in my picture...I can't get in them now. I mean I can but I can't button them! I want back in those pants!! It's funny how just a few pounds will make you feel like a blimp. I'm on it though, I just got through with TOM and I'm drinking that water. I need to start walking again.
