im ready, TMO is here so i gained back 2lbs from yesterday. Im going to kick aunt Flo's butt if it kills me.
so my starting weight is 234
i had breakfast and now im getting ready to take phen in about 30min
im going to do my 50 situps in a few and do some housework

GOT UP AND WORKED OUT EARLY FOR 45 MINUTES, WILL DO THE OTHER 15 TONIGHT. DID MY 50 SITTUPS.
HAD A BOWL OF SPECIAL K WITH SKIM MILK-200 CALORIES. I AM SIKED ABOUT THE REST OF THE DAY, EVEN THOUGH MY SON IS THE KITCHEN NOW COOKING PIZZA. THATS JUST WRONG. BUT I WILL SURVIVE.:D

OK Cool here we go so far....:p woke up this morning all excited about this challenge.... especially since last nite I went out to eat and was down righ decadent with my calorie count shot it right to hell :( Woke up this morning and weighed myself....gained 1 pound :( Oh well not gonna let it get me down....TODAY IS A NEW DAY!!!!!!! :D I Had my bowl of special K with skim milk. I did about 20 crunches then did some leg lunges I have a bad back so crunches start to hurt after a while so I will improvise with other exercies....OK ladies? :o Any hoo then took my daughter to religion, went to bank while she was there then did someother mundane stuff...lol Picked daughter up at religion..went to gym and worked out with weights for an hour then came home and had myself a deliciuos tuna sandwich...20z tuna...1 tblspn reduced calorie mayo...chopped celeery mixed in (yum yum yum) on weight watchers multi grain bread...for a snack I am going to make myself a salad with Emeril's rasperberry vinigeate dressing ( low cal and ohhhhh so sweet and yummy) OK so that is my day so far I will check in later to find out about all you ladies and report on my dinner lol

Hi everyone!! Here's to a great month of excellent weight loss - delicious weight-loss eating, exercise, and of course, water, water, and more water!! :) I did 35 minutes on my exercise bike, and will now go do my 50 situps -- eating was great, I had a "brunch" meal so far - tuna fish on whole wheat bread, small glass of apple juice (healthy brand, no sugar, low cal), and cup of decaf. And I've been drinking the water big-time!! Plan to do more bike work this evening with my other 50 situps, and I'm ready for this challenge!! :D

Okay... I didn't do too bad for the first day....30 min on eliptical before breakfast to burn extra fat...
Breakfast egg whites & dannon yougurt,,, coffee,,,,Lunch,,,chicken tenderloin,,, snack jello pudding (no sugar)....and for dinner.. more chicken tenderloing and 2 oz of birds eye chicken alfredo that the kids were doing...
All All 553 Calories,,9g Fat,,4 Sat fat,,33 carbs, .6 fiber,, 10g sugar, 84g protein
Excercised off 406 calories
And drank gallon of water... Who has time to eat in between drinking all that water!! But I feel good and not hungry and I forced myself to eat.. .and I also resisted when I brought the kids to KFC/Taco Bell even though that new wrap sandwich looked good.

I AGREE THAT NEW WRAP SANDWICH LOOKS SOO GOOD... ESPECIALLY THE GRILLED ONE!!
okay today i didnt exercise because im goin to the club tonight. and if you've been to the club you know its packed and hot like your in a sauna. plus i love to dance so i dance the whole time im there and im going to count that as my exercise.
this morinng i had 2 boiled eggs = 152 cal 1 carb
snack i had pork rynes 3 servings= 240 cal 0 carb
and lunch/dinner im having chicken wings=460 cal 3 carb
in total i had 853 calories and 4 carbs for the day... if i get hungry later i'll add 3 hand fulls of peanuts so thats an extra 120 cals. :)

I HAVE A BIG CUP THAT HOLDS 48 OZ WATER. CONSUMED CUP TIMES 2 SO FAR. STILL WORKING ON MY 24 OZ LEFT.

Hi ladies I am looking at all your food journals and you are putting calories carbs...etc....I sm much too lazy to do that lol...But I will put down my food consumtion I figure I eat about 1000-1200 calories a day..Sooooo anyway ....all of a sudden this afternoon I got a terrible cold and I am miserable ::awwwww poor me:: lol I was sooooo tired this aftwenoon I took a 2 hour nap while daughter had a playdate and when I woke up, I wasn't hungry at all but didn't want to not eat so I had a peice of grilled chicken with artichokes and sundried tomatoes and low cal cheddar cheese on top....was quite good...I am not doing crunches or an exercises tonite cause I am still really feeling like crap....Am thinking about having a WW ice cream in a little bit but not sure if I want it cause I am hungry or just cause I don't feel good and am going to take comfort in food so I am going to really think about it. Tomorrow I have to be at work at 6am so I am going to get up at 5 and get some exercise in...See you all sometime tomorrow .....good nite and good and healthy eating ladies ....ohhhhhhhh didn't do that great with the water today :( Am drinking some now but for some reason I didn't want to drink today when I usually have no problem with at least a gallon of water a day

oh man i want to join!!! but i dont know if each day i will be able to give all my food and water ect... work out just cuz i wont have time, i do stay below 1200 and probably more water than my body can handle. Workingout atleast 4days, but mostly doing 5-6 days. But i would like to join anywho and do the best i can do with postings, Some days I just have moments here and there to post, and some days I have all day so, anywho, yay for easter challenge

Count me in. :) I didn't do sit ups this morning...but I'll start tomorrow.
Breakfast - Yoplait light yogurt
Lunch - Slim Fast Optima chocolate chip cookie dough bar
Dinner- 4oz filet, sm. baked potato w/ 1tbsp. light sour cream, sm. salad w/1tsp. olive oil, 1tsp red wine vinegar
Snack - 90 cal. pack mini rice cakes
Water- 100oz ( I know, didn't quite make it)
Exercise - treadmill 30 min., bike 20 min, eliptical 20 min., circuit training 30 min.

you dont have to be on low carb, i think the doc suggests it because it gets rid fo the water weight quicker.
i have tried atkins but i did not have energy while on it.
i heard its not good to limit your carbs under 50grams daily
for me thats still to low. and i like fruit

you can also rotate your calories like eat your biggest meal in the am or for lunch

Good morning Easter people!! I am ready for a great week!! This friday is my 1 month check in...I know its not going to be very good but hopefully he he will give me another month of pills.....he told me at the very beginning that he would only do about 4 months worth anyways.
Here is my plan for the day........
outside activity for exercise.... at least 60 minutes. daughter wants to kick aroun the soccer ball.
H2O- 100oz.
food:
breakfast- instand oatmeal and 1/2 a grapefruit... 200 calories
snack- carrots...15 calories
lunch - tunafish mix (pickles, boiled egg white, light mayo, tuna, pepper)... 160 calories
dinner- chicken breast, salad..... 300 calories
snack- SF pudding ...60 calories

OK woke up this morning at 5Am did 25 crunches and 25 jumping jacks...
Breakfast 2 eggwhites with 1/2 yellow, ketchup, and 1/2 WW englisg muffin with spreadable fruit
snack- 15 grapes
Lunch lean turkey on ww multigrain bread
Am contemplating taking my dogs for a nice long walk...weather is good...ehhhhh heck with contemplating gonna do it :D Question....I got on the scale this morning...yes I am obsessed with the scale and it says I gained a pound...could it be a fluke or maybe I am gaining muscle from working out? maybe TOM is comming...not sure not a good tracker of TOM...lol But I am kind of sad :(

4mami_mia - my circuit training pretty much consists of making a loop through the reistance machines at the gym with a minute of jumping jacks between each machine. You're supposed to do between 30 seconds and 3 minutes of cardio between each station. Hope that helps...

Ok for exercise today I took the dogs for a 1 mile walk...we ran about 2 blocks...that was good but we do do a lot of stopping cause my little boys feel the need to sniff and pee at every tree and pole!!!! lol Then I came home and had a good size bowl of homemade fruit salad...just fruit no sugary juice. Then for dinner I had a WW Turkey fruit sensations dinner. For dessert I had a 1 point ice cream from WW...I did 10 crunches and ABC exercise with medicine ball that I learned from watching Regis and Kelly! lol THink I did pretty well today :)

lunch: tuna with mayo and 2 rice cakes... 265 cals 14 carbs
dinner: chicken wings and cabbage... 461 cals 7 carbs
total...906 cals and 21 carbs (most carbs ive had since being on the diet)
i didnt exercise today cuz im too sore from last night. but i am doing the sit-ups
oh! and im working on my gallon still.. im at 84.5 ounces right now..

IT IS SO GOOD TO SEE EVERYONE DOING SO WELL. GOTTALOSEALOT, WHEN YOU DRINK THAT MUCH WATER YOU HAVE TO WEIGH YOURSELF EVERY 3 DAYS OR SO. YOUR BODY IS GETTING USE TO THIS CLEANSING. DON'T GET DISCOURAGE BY 1 POUND, LOOK AT HOW MUCH YOU LOST SO FAR.!!

Ok, so my day so far:
Breakfast - skipped it cuz I slept too late
Lunch - oatmeal (ok...so maybe it was more brunch than lunch) 160 cals
Dinner - chicken casserole and sm. portion mashed potatoes - 560cals
Snack - 100cal pack wheat thins
Total - 820 cals. I know that's bad...but today was one of those days I had to make myself eat anything
Water - Still working on my gallon. At 100oz. right now. Will finish the rest before I go to bed.
Exercise: 75 min at the gym. Plus my 100 sit ups.

Here's my Sunday... I did only my 50 situps, but I also did 30 pushups and 30 squats and 30 min on the eliptical...
Break..egg whites and a banana
Lunch: chicken tenderloins
Aft.snack special K protein bar,,and cottage cheese w/pineapple
dinner: chicken teriyaki and 1 chicken nugget (that the kids were eating)
late evening snack peanuts (about 39) sugar free pudding
Plus my 120 oz of water (I came up short)
which gave me 886 cal 27g fat,,8g sat fat, 84 carbs, 9g fiber, 35g sugar, 85g protein
I am also scale obsessive and lost 1/2 lb.. not as great as the day before with losing 2lbs.. I've got to wonder how much carbs play into that... Anyhow... I'll try to do better today.

Gottalosealot: Gurl, don't even sweat it, you're doing excellent!!
Sexyjenn: My doctor told me the same thing, that I could only be on phen for 4 months, then one month off, then she'll continue to prescribe it. So I started in November, and after I finish what I have, she will not prescribe, so that will be around the end of March, and I'm not happy about it at all!! Started stressing about that one month with no phen, but gladly, I found out through another phenster about 5HTP -- it helps your mood and has a bit of an appetite suppressant in it as well, so that's what I'll be taking on my month off --
Hello everyone, did fair with my eating yesterday, I could have done a lot better ... And water was not good either, but I'm saying to myself that today is a new day, moving forward!! Gotta run, I'll post later today of my menu, happy Monday!! :D

okay im not home right now but just wanted to say my scale at home is off my real weight is 231.5 instead of 234 so i had to redo my goals
i did 40min of turbo jam and i had a plum for breakfast ( had to go to the clinic today finally got my 37.5mg)
and i had a subway roasted chicken wrap for lunch

No crunches or anything like it today...had to wake up at 4;30 and be at work at 5am....

Snack- small box of raisins
Lunch- tuna sndwich with lite mayo and celery on WW multi grain bread
Dinner- WW Swedish meatballs and noodles...big heaping of broccli that hubby made with garlic mmmmmmm yummy
Dessert- WW ice cream bar
Walked with dogs again about a 1/4 mile ....did a lot of lifting and walking at work...was cleaning out the supply closet..that has to be a workout! lol Other then that no crunches again tonite I am too tired gotta be up again at 4:30 tomorrow...Hope everybody has a great evening and healthy eating ;)

I haven’t read the previous posting but I hope everyone is sticking to their plan and being successful at it. Ladies this is our month so let’s do this right!!!!
I got back from Dallas late last night. We had a good time. I’ll have to admit I did not always eat healthy but I did workout. I was pretty tired this morning but I did get up at 5:30am and worked out on the treadmill, elliptical, did my sit-ups and lifted weights for my entire body. I’m very tired and a little sore but overall I feel really good. I’m home now and there are no excuses. I’m completely back on track today.
Menu Plan for today
Gallon of H20
Vanilla\peach protein shake 160 cal (very simple and very good)
2 hard boil eggs and 2 slice of turkey bacon 210 cal
South beach turkey wrap 240cals
Peach = 60 cal (the cups with splenda only 6g carbs)
Lean Cuisine – lemongrass (one of my favorites) 290cal

Hi All... I was a bit frustrated this morning as I thought I did really well yesterday (well no excercise but still) and saw the scale go up 1/2 lb this morning...
Breakfast- egg whites
Lunch Can of tuna and a salad with Kens lite accent dressing (only 10 calories for 10 squirts)
Dinner- salmon fillet
Late evening snack sugar free pudding
total 602 calories 17g fat 3g sat fat 20g carbs 4g fuber 6g sugar, 90g protein

Drank a lot of water!
I could have done a lot better with my menu yesterday, so I got back on the bandwagon today and did excellent!! Here is today's menu:
B: South Beach protein bar
S: small banana
L: 1/2 cup of crabmeat salad, 4 "Eating Right" crackers
S: Fiber One nonfat yogurt and 100 cal pack
I plan to put a turkey breast in the oven when I get home, and plan to have slices of that as well as make some turkey salad out of it. Went to the gym today at lunchtime, did 50 situps on the machine w/30 pound weights, 20 minutes on the bike, and 15 minutes on the treadmill; great workout!! And I also drank plenty of water today too --
Corr, not to worry about the scale going up and down sometimes; as long as you're eating right, exercising and drinking your water, your numbers will go down and stay down!! :) Okay phensters, let's continue to drink lots of water, and have a great night!!

CDCreations - Gurrrrrl I like this shake So MUCH that I have it just about everyday.
1 scoopVanilla Whey protein
frozen peach slice - put a few slices together until it makes a whole peach
1c water
1 packet of Splenda optional – I like it without
Mix water, splenda and protein blend add half the peach slices blend add the other half blend. It’s a really nice frothy smooth consistency. I’m telling you very very good and simple.
I buy the big container of protein powder from Walmart. It’s like 13 bucks (VERY GOOD PRICE) and they have chocolate too. I buy the frozen slice peach just a generic brand.
Today is a ruff one I did go to my step class, and we lifted weights and I did 50 cruches. But TOM came yesterday and I am having cravings….I can’t wait for it to end LOL.
Menu - I’m trying to follow my version of Medifast and it’s a lot cheaper LOL.
GoLean oatmeal 1 packet
Peach protein shake
1c Chicken and wild rice soup
100 calorie granola snack bar

Hello! I do my weigh-in tomorrow, and I feel like I'm "stuck" around the 216-220 mark. I did fair on my eating yesterday, and excellent on eating today, here is yesterday's menu:
B: SB protein bar
S: 100-calorie pack
L: crabmeat dip with 4 wheat crackers (went to the gym at lunchtime)
S: 100 calorie pack
D: turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread, few cheese curls
S: bad snack, small ice cream cone
But so far today, I've been really good, and I plan to exercise on my bike this evening. Depending on what my weigh-in will be tomorrow, if it is still stuck, I plan to do a low-carb diet for a week, see if that shakes things up a bit!! Have a great evening everyone!! :)

Hello! I am pleased to report that I lost another pound, so as of this morning, I'm at 215, my lowest weight in a long, long time!! Here is my menu for today:

D: 1/2 cup tuna fish, cucumber slices
S: 100-calorie pack
handful of peanuts and good amount of water today
Even though I lost a pound, I have decided to go ahead and do a 7-day low carb eating week, because I want to see more than a one-pound loss, need to shake things up a bit. Also, a member of my other challenge LZ has started a thread for a weekend apple detox. If anyone is interested in committing to either the weekend apple detox that LZ is doing, or a 7-day low carb week, that would be great!! Let's lose this weight together; have a great night!! :)

Blastagut, excellent weight loss numbers, congratulations to you!! Hello to everyone, I too had trouble logging on yesterday, but I wanted to share that I indeed started my low carb diet on Saturday, and am still going strong, here is my menu from yesterday:
B: 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 cup tuna fish salad, decaf coffee
S: 100-calorie pack (to get some carbs in)
L: 2 hot dogs, no rolls, dijon mustard
S: low carb/low sugar yogurt
D: Halibut steak, green beans
S: small handful of peanuts
Went to the store yesterday and will be fixing a meatloaf for dinner today -- I like doing lo-carb; not only is it effective for weight loss, but it is filling too. A multivitamin is a must, and the first two days are a bit hard, because your body still craves lots of carbs. But for weight loss, it is a given that it works! I plan to stay on it for one week, maybe two, not sure yet. I also plan to push the water today, didn't drink as much as I should have yesterday -- hope everyone is doing well, following their respective diet plans, and I'll check back later!! :)

Hello everyone!! I am thrilled to share that when i weighed this morning, I'm down a couple of pounds, yes!! As you know, I'm doing one week of low carbs, but yesterday was craz-ay, and I ended up eating a couple of not-needed-but-ate-because-of-stress 100 calorie packs, carbs included, not good ... But here is my menu yesterday:
B: 2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices of microwave bacon
S: low sugar/low carb yogurt
L: lump crabmeat w/little bit of butter and pepper
S: 100-calorie pack
D: Piece of breaded fish, small handful peanuts
S: two 100-calorie packs :(
So anyway, I decided to vent my frustration out on my stationary bike; after all, if I was able to stuff those two packs into my big mouth, I would have to pay the price, and I truly did -- 70 minutes sweating, burned over 400 calories, going 10 miles!! So I think that the workout is why my numbers looked good this morning, I burned off those excess carbs. My official weigh-in day is Friday, so hopefully, the pounds will stay off, and maybe I'll lose a few more along the way!!
I'm doing fantastic today, getting my water down, and hoping that everyone else is doing fantastic too!!

LOL.. so i guess im going to have to cut back before my kidneys start to hurt

okay everyone, get ready for this i lost 2lbs since thursday's weigh in, and i lost 2 inches, i knew i wasnt crazy my pant have been falling off. Im not going to post my weight until thursday though since thats when i weigh in at the dr.
im so excited.
im not really following an eating plan anymore thats why im not posting the calories and stuff, i just cut 1/3 of what is on my plate down. Im thinking about eating my carbs during the day and having a carb free meal for dinner.

Thanks so much for your comments about the initial 2 pounds I lost last week before weigh-in, and yep, I lost a total of 4 pounds when I weighed last Friday!! :D Although I did not eat the best last weekend carb-wise, I'm back on track and doing excellent with it! I am feeling under the weather though, got some kind of stomach virus, and stayed home from work yesterday and this morning, but did come into the office this afternoon. The way my stomach has been cramping and hurting though, I wonder if I made the right decision. Waiting for today to be over so I can go home and crash. But I ate good today:
B: low sugar/low carb yogurt (3 carbs)
L: Atkins Advantage protein shake (1 carb -- 5 carbs minus 4 dietary fiber carbs)
S: Eating Right crackers (4) with slab of Philly cream cheese (12 for crackers, 0 for cream cheese)
Dinner will either be scrambled eggs w/bacon (0 carbs), or baked chicken wings and greens (0 or very low carbs for the greens)
Libby, yeah, doing low-carb is the pits, especially since I luv fruit, but it truly does work; I'm hanging in there with you!! :)

okay everyone, get ready for this i lost 2lbs since thursday's weigh in, and i lost 2 inches, i knew i wasnt crazy my pant have been falling off. Im not going to post my weight until thursday though since thats when i weigh in at the dr.
im so excited.
im not really following an eating plan anymore thats why im not posting the calories and stuff, i just cut 1/3 of what is on my plate down. Im thinking about eating my carbs during the day and having a carb free meal for dinner.
Gurl, congratulations on your 2 pounds and 2 inches lost!! Excellent, awesome, proud of you!!! You can do this thing, we know you can do it - just enjoy your success, and sounds like you'd betta invest in buying some safety pins for your pants to hold 'em up!! "D

thank you CD actually i lost more than i thought because i weighed in the afternoon. So i weighed first thing this morning and im down to 227.5 !
also Cd i noticed that today i my stomach is cramping also
