The last time I was on this site I met and lost weight with the most amazing group of individuals! I have seen some of those familiar faces:) Almost three years later I am back on here(+20lbs) with a renewed sense of health and determination. I had some incredible results with two previous challenges that I participated in and want to light a fire under my booty once again!
This time around things are very different for me. I am now a total Vegetarian or Vegan if you will. That means I eat CARBS, haha. For many people cutting carbohydrates out of their diet has meant a fast drop in weight (it did for me once). Do what is right for you and your body.
I do not take phentermine anymore. I had amazing results however I experienced severe side effects one being Exercise intolerance.
I am back on this forum because I have no one that has the same health goals in my daily life. I feel as though I have a lot to offer anyone who needs the encouragement. This thread will help me remain diligent in my weight loss efforts. So here it goes.
This challenges' rules are as follows:
1.) Drink water, water and more water!
Tea (decaffeinated). If my caloric intake isn't totally consumed I could afford the occasional single size serving of juice. That is a luxury to me these days so I generally just stick to my drink of choice... you guessed it Water!
2.) Track everything that enters your mouth!
The numbers that hold the greatest importance to me are Calories, Fat, Protein and Fiber. I am just using a small notepad that I can take with me anywhere I go.
I use calorieking.com to get accurate caloric totals of the foods I eat. The site can also estimate the effort and exercise it would take to burn off what you just ate!
3.) Move your body!
Exercise daily! Yes daily! The success I want deserves extreme dedication to this rule!
I am going to go to the gym 3 days a week -Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I will participate in three 60 minute aerobics classes and then immediately following I will take a 60 minute strength training class.
During the rest of the week I am going to go on walks, and hike in various parks in my city. Do some aerobic videos I have at home and so on. I am shooting for minimum one hour of cardio a day.
This Challenge starts for me today! I have set a goal that I know is achievable assuming I have stuck to these rules, haha. I WILL.

My weigh ins will be every Sunday morning.
I am going to lose 15 lbs by the end of April and I will love every minute of it!
WHEN DOES YOUR CHALLENGE START!?
If anyone feels the need I welcome all to post their calories, successes, exercise regimes, disappointments or to just chat it up:) I think I need to stick to this site and the positive energy that stems from losing this weight.
I hope to connect with great people and to reconnect with those I have lost touch with.
