Okay, so the other pill the doctor recommended for me to try was Alli, which I know used to be a prescription but is now available over the counter. When my doctor first recommended it to me about a year ago, it was still not available over the counter and I denied using it because it works by soaking up a lot of the fat you eat and I wasn't too fond of the side effects of that. Now that I am taking Phentermine, I have heard you can take them together and since I am actually eating healthy, I was thinking about maybe taking them together. What does everyone think about this drug? Anyone tried it? What are the side effects? Has anyone takenm it combined with Phentermine? Just thought it may help even more! Can never get too much help! Thanks guys!

It actually stops your body from obsorbing fat, so if you eat over I think it is 7gms of fat per meal you will actually have an accident in your pants. I know its gross, but I have thought, "ok if I take this then I will be to scared of eating high fat foods because I dont want to poo myself" So it will scare you into eating healthy. Does that make any sense?? Hehe. I hope, but yeah I work in a pharamcy and that is the truth. Hope that helps

Wow... I never even thought of taking Alli with Phend. That's interesting. Let us know if you try it because now I'm super curious! I know we'd all like an edge.

I bet it would be good to take together, especially cuz they do two different things!!!

Read the threads in My Experience w/Phentermine titled "Waiting for an Explosion" and "Official Blog Motto for Phen users" or simply do a search for ALLI....hopefully you can get some insight from others who have used it.

I've used ALLI and lost 30 pounds from May 07 - Nov.07. It's O.K. I never had an "accident" the max. fat is 9gr. per meal. I'm on the verge of trying Phentermine. I still haven't figured out if Phentremine is the same as Phenermine and do I need an ** for this medication. I used Phen Phen in the 90 and lost weight, kept it off but it was taken off the market before I reached my goal. Perhaps other eaders can answer my question as well maybe?? That would be great. Do I only have the option to buy it online???

I was on ALLI just before I started the Phen and my doc told me to stop the ALLI before I started the Phen. I ask him if I could take both of them together and he said no.

ALLI is not going to work for you if you don't eat a high enough fat intake. It is for those who eat lots of fatty foods. Trust, if you eat to much fat, you will be embarrassed...big time...I know from experience.

Okay, I'm dying to know what happened! Is there a story to tell? ;)

Yes, I took it the first two or three days and nothing happen, so I keep on eatting the same. Low and behold one day at work it took effect. I clenched my butt the entire way to the rest room, only to get there and almost did not make it. I still got a drop in my panties. I took the panties off and threw them in the trash...stuffed my pants with tissue and paper towels (just incase)...I clean up...and I went straight to the time clock and went home.

Not to mention passing gas and all you feel is a wet spot in the back and like some one just spread whipped cream between the cheeks...only to check yourself and notice nothing but oil...which will leave a stain if you don't wash it out fast enough.

I'm using Alli right now, but I only use it for dinners out with friends where my options are more limited. I can totally identify with what Dhenryhand said though.

Pummel: Phentermine is different from Phentramine. Phentramine is a mix of non-prescription herbal crap that essentially isn't effective. Phentermine is available by doc only unless you do it illegally. Most people around here will suggest a weight loss clinic (check your phone book) in your area. It's usually cheaper to do it the legal way anyway.
