So today was my day to weigh in at the doctors office... I'd lost 22 pounds in my first 2 weeks, so I wasn't expecting too much when I got on the scale. The kind of scale they have is really cool because you stand on it bare foot and it prints out 2 slips of paper (one for me and one for my file)... and it gives you every kind of info you would want to know! Like BMI, BMR, Fat %, Fat Mass (in actually pounds!), Fat Free Mass, and the pounds of water weight. So I get on the scale and I lost 4 pounds this week... but then I looked at the other numbers and it showed that I actually lost 8 pounds of FAT, but because I gained 4 pounds of muscle only the 4 pounds showed up in the weight difference!! So if any of you are wondering why the scale isn't moving more even though you're doing everything perfectly... feel confident that you're gaining muscle!! :D

Awesome to know your success! How many miligrams are you using with Phen? I am about to start taking it and want to know how much I should take. I need lose at least 50lbs to get to a healthy weight.

Thank you,

WAY TO GO!!!! I have my weigh in with the doctor in the morning and I am definetly going to beg him to purchase a scale like that. This is my first "official" weigh in on the scales where it all started and I am somewhat nervous but, more so excited after you said what you did about the muscle gain!
Thanks for the hope that maybe I have been making progress the past 2 weeks!

How many miligrams are you using with Phen?

I'm taking Phendimetrazine 35mg - I'm allowed to take it 3 times a day, but two a day as been enough so far.

This is the scale that my doctor has! The first one listed is almost $4000, but I think my doc actually has the 2nd one down which is more like $2000. He has 2 or 3 of them in the office and they're so awesome! I love that they print your stats for you... 2 copies, one for you and one for your file. Maybe ya'll can write down the link for your doctors so they can check them out. :) I don't know how thrilled they'd be about shelling out the big bucks, but it's such a great tool... not to mention motivating!

Hi thanks for your reply about the mg's. What is the differnece between Phentermine and Phendimetrazine? Do you think 30mg vs. 37.5mg (of Phentermine) a huge difference when trying to lose weight? I lost lots of weight in the 90's with Phentermine 37.5mg and wondering if a lower dose would even help me lose the weight??? I know a Dr. here (Southern Calif.) who will prescribe 30mg. Not sure if I should use it.
