Hi im new to the phentermine community here . I have read a lot of posts saying that prozac increases the effects of phentermine. But I was wondering if the reverse is true. I have been taking prozac for 2 months for anxiety and social anxiety, and now im prescibed phentermine for weight loss. Im worried that prozac will lose its effectiveness for my anxiety. Any one have any experience with this?

I had similiar doubts and I consulted my doctor, he said that phentermine didn't affect prozac effects in any way.

Hi I just started takin phen for my third time..... The last time i took it, after 6 months i had to stop because i started having anxiety attacks and my doctor thought i should focus more on it then the phen. My anxiety is really bad, they put me on prozac and xanax. I stopped taking the prozac about a month ago because it quit working on its own...... i wasnt back on the phen yet, i just started it last thursday. My doctor told me though that phentermine and przac work Really really well together that phentermine cannot trigger an anxiety attack, you yourself does that. The only thing she suggested was not to take paxil while taking phentermine because it makes you gain weight. I dont think you have anything to worry about it reversing on you, but i understand the worry. Anxiety does that to us. I am stugglin with my anxiety pretty bad. I also wrote a blog if you have any input for me i would appreciate it.
