That pretty much says it all. I have only been off phen for 2 freaking days and I feel so darn down and depressed. I am so tired, no energy, hungry, angry, so tired of being used, not being able to see my family. I am so tired of doing everything for everyone but myself. Its almost like I see clearly and I'm just not happy with anything. Yes I lost weight and I do feel better because of that. I am not at my goal but I am happy with where I am now. I'm just not happy about my life now. I hope this feeling goes away because I dont like feeling this way. The phen. made me feel strong, not weak. I had control with the phen. Now I'm wondering if I actually had control, it sure dont seem like it now.

Any way , just wanted to vent a little and maybe someone here knows what I'm talking about. Will I feel better? I sure hope so.

Did you go cold turkey or slowly wean yourself? Since it is an addictive drug it can and probably plain out does have withdrawal side effects.
Little 5htp for the mood, maybe?

I feel the same way when I take a 3 day break, which I just did. I smiled for 3-4 hours straight after taking it again this am. Sad, I know.

Why did you stop before you got to goal? I think it's smart to try to do it on your own but just wondered if you had a specific reason?

I agree w/ the other gals...it will get better in a week or so.

Well its &:14 this morning and I'm up drinking my 2nd cup of coffee. I need my coffee in the morning to get any kind of motivation. Today is day 3 and its rainy and cloudy out. So I just have this feeling I am not going to have a good day. I know I got to think positive but I was so freaking tired yesterday and snappy but the weather was beautiful. I know today my husband wants to go to a new restraunt that just opened and see Star Wars tonight. I dont feel like going because: 1) I need motivation and energy to get ready. 2) When I do go, I probably will be starved and eat like a pig. 3) His brother and girlfriend is going with us. We never seem to go out alone anymore. 4) After a babysitting all day my brother in laws 4 year old (autistic) I wont be in the mood to go out. I will be in the mood to sleep or relax at home.

The reason I went off before getting to my goal is I get them online and I am trying to hold off a little before reordering. I just think I needed a break from them. I'm trying hard though. Yesterday I was somewhat good. I just cant drink my water though. I dont get thirsty when I'm off the phen. I was never a big water drinker and all I could drink yesterday was 16 oz. all day. I did have my coffee but I dont think that counts though. I will try to drink more today.

Ok, thanks again. I will see how today goes and this weekend. I hate weekends because husband is home and when hes home he wants beer and junk food.

Thanks for being here for me.

It will get better, but maybe you should order a lower dose this time or even cut your pills in half....and go off slower...its very addictive...

I had the same issue when I went off Phen the first time I was on it 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I was down and very tired, didn't want to do anything and didn't have any motivation. I was already seeing a doctor, so I went back to her when my problem persisted for several months. She put me on another prescription drug, basically another "upper" so to speak, but less addicting that Phen, to help w/ my extreme tiredness. I hope it gets better for you, but if it doesn't get better, I would see a doctor.
