Hey ya'll. Quick question. It's time for me to get more phen, and right now i'm currently taking adipex. It isn't perscribed to me; I just order it off the internet. Adipex is so exspensive that I was thinking about ordering the generic stuff. So my question is, which generic kind works for ya'll or is there any specific kind that you've tried and it didn't work? Please let me know. I was doing great when I first started the phen, but now I've fallin off the wagon. I gotta get my booty back on before I gain back all the weight that I've lost. Thanks for all the help!

I don't want this to come across as rude or judgemental, but why would you take medicine that isn't prescribed to you? I'm not that familiar with ordering it off the internet, but to be safe, shouldn't you get a script from your Dr?
Are there a lot of people here who order their phen without a script? (just curious)

I got my prescription from my Dr. and filled it with the generic - capsules with blue and white balls. They cost $21 for a 30 day supply filled at my local pharmacy. So far it has work great. I started Sunday and have not been hungry at all - I have been exercising and lost 5 lbs so far.

Yes, there is quite a few who order through the internet with out there doctors prescription. When you order through the internet you have to fill out an online prescription and they have to approve it. The reason we do is because some insurance will not pay and by the time you go to the doctor and get the prescription it costs more.
As for your question about the generic vs. adipex, same pill, same weight loss, less money. phentermine 37.5 and adipex are the same except price. Hope I was helpful.
Have a great day!

yep...lots get it online also because so many people find that their dr.'s just will not prescribe phen at all...so you fill out the form and a dr okays it, it is considered a prescription....
i got mine from my doc....filled at walmart...60/40$ something...amide (a-159) worked fine....good luck

I'm taking a dr. prescribed generic version by purepac and it's working, definately. I paid $35 at my local pharmacy, and a $10 copay. There was no insurance on the **. I hope my doctor will give me another month's worth after the checkup because I do not want to pay $80+.

I take phen without my doctors prescription. I did a lot of research about it and asked my doctor for it, but she said no. She said she does not prescribe weight loss medication to any of her patients unless their weight proves an immediate health risk and/or their BMI is over 40. Since mine is "only" at 34, she felt I should try "natural" remedies (such as diet and exercise). I tried to explain to her that, uh, yeah!! Been there, done that!! I need help!!!
So I ordered it online. Told her I was taking it and she's not happy, but she is monitoring me at my request. Phen wouldn't have been covered by my insurance anyway.

I ordered my online. What doc is going to give a girl who weighs 150 pounds Phen? None. So thats why I ordered mine online. Don't act like it's a crime. and play judge and jury on here. So it was rude, lots of people order it online.

I order mine online, along with several other medications. The phen is not prescribed by my own doctor, but the other meds are. It's cheaper for me. Some of the medications I take are considered Tier 3 with my insurance and I save thousands of dollars a year ordering them online.
As for the phen, I've never asked a doctor to prescribe it. Phen is no more dangerous than the OTC diet pills. It's no ones business in my opinion. My insurance won't cover it, yet they'll cover gastric bypass. Quite frankly, I refuse to go through the trials of finding a doctor to prescribe, running the risk of being disappointed when they won't prescribe it, or humiliated for wanting it in the first place.
Around the forums, I would guess that 50% get theirs online. FYI - When you order phen online, you are required to fill out a medical history and it goes through a process of being approved by a real live MD, who then forwards it to a real live pharmacy. It comes with a legitimate prescription.
(Rain - LOVE your new pictures...you look gorgeous! Great job on your weight loss, keep it up!!)

There are many people who order medications online. Some doctors do not beleive in prescribing weight loss medications to their patients. So, in order for men and women to acheive thier loss goals withthe help of pills like Phentermine, we do order online. However, one thing I have seen and heard and truly beleive in, is cheaper is not always better. I think a website like this one is safe, secure, and reliable for ordering Phen. It might cost a bit more, but I would rather pay a little extra knowing I am getting a good product, than something that says Phen, but is something different.....Just my thoughts. :)

I'm sure if I ever wanted to take phen again I would need to order it online. My endo gave it to me only because he knew how much I was struggling to lose 20 pounds. I was not obese, but I was overweight and since I have my thyroid working against me he gave it to me as a "push" to get my going in the right direction. He knows my history and my struggle. To me, it was a Godsend, but a lot of people I know said my doctor was "crazy" for giving it to me, that I wasn't heavy enough to have it prescribed to me. To that, I say BULL!!!! Not only has it helped me lose weight, but it has also helped me get my "head" in the right place, where I don't think about food all the time and have focused on other aspects of life. It has given me a whole new lease on life! But, I know that he won't prescribe it again, he did say it was "not long term".
I go see him for my follow up (post 2 months on phen) on 1/4 and I wish I could kiss him! ;)

I'm a newbie who just ordered my Phen online, and with the holiday weekend, will have to wait until Tuesday to get it. Aaargh!
I ordered mine online, because even though I'm 85 pounds overweight, Kaiser won't prescribe it. I do not have high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, bad knees, hips, or back, nuttin'. So, without those other conditions, "all" I need to do is eat less and exercise. (Hmmm...the doc who told me this was a tad chunky...)
In 1994, I was on Phen-Fen for a year and a half, lost and kept off 50 pounds, and was walking four miles a day. I finally had control over my eating. That was then, Phen is now. I hope that it helps, because I feel like it's my last chance to feel human again.

Wow! I had no idea it was so difficult. I went to my general Dr. for something else and just casually asked if he had any suggestions for me to lose some weight and he told me about Phen and wrote me a prescription. I have Fortis insurance and they covered part of the cost of the pills. I think before insurance they were 28 and the insurance covered $7. I had no idea that it was so difficult to get through a regualr doctor.

I'm amazed that it's so difficult, too. Kaiser will toss out Wellbutrin and Viagra like peanuts on cheap flights, but anti-obesity drugs? Nope. Everyone knows that fat people are just weak and lazy, right? Grrrrr.

Some doc's will some won't. I have a lot of doc friends but just don't want to let anyone know I am on Phen. Keeping it low key.
