Night before last the kids were playing out in the back yard, and Joshua by almost 14 yr old son came up the back stairs in pain, trying not to cry and holding his behind.
He said, when he could get the workds out, that he had jumped over a stick that was pushed in the ground and landed on it!!! After i gave a nervous giggle (that he still hasnt forgiven me for) i made him take down him pants in the kitchen, which due to the pain he didnt mind doing, to make sure it hadnt done any damage.
hes so lucky. It missed the bullseye by millimeters. He has a bit of a bruise now.
This could have been serious, a stick up the *****!!

Now we area calling him stickboy or Joshypop.

That *could* have been VERY serious! I saw something on tv about a guy that fell off a roof or ladder or something, and fell on a little tree... A small branch went right up his butt, nad totally damaged his colon and stomach and everything.. Poor guy! Hope he feels better!

He can laugh about it now, but is reminded of it everytime he sits down.
I was pretty shocked as i know how serious it could have been. Thankfully it turned out only to be fodder for a few jokes!

With 6 kids there is always some kinda drama in my house. You learn to laugh as much as possible or you would go nuts! lol

Dawn I didn't know if it was ok to laugh or feel bad at first. However I am so glad it wasn't as serious as it could have been.

This happened to me when I was a kid. It was a metal post (the kind that you look down on and it makes a "T" usually holds up like mile markers on the road) my friend ran up and jumped over it. I figured I could do it but lost my footing as I jumped and came down on it. I thought that I was going to die. The back of my pants were ripped open and I was bleeding everywhere. The most embrassing part, I was at a football game and the whole school was watching. When my friends mom got me home my mother got my pants off and it didn't hit on the bullseye but close. I couldn't sit for a week and everyday my mother had to change the bandage on my rear. I'll never forget it. I think that it hurt worse than child birth.

Dawnsie!!!! Geeeze...

Sounds like a "sticky" situation. It's a good thing he's "limber"... I was "stumped" on how I might "branch" out on your story.

All kidding aside, it's good to know he's OK! Yikes.
I always think about that when I'm sliding down ravines with kids. "Watch out for your A-erhhhh."
"sticks can, ereeejge!" "Slide on your feet everybody!, be careful of your butttth"...
Lol. :) :blabla:

I got bit Monday night in the butt by a boxer/pit bull while walking my dog...it is the most incredible pain I have every experienced.
