We went to southern Illinois today. There are alot of trails there and we hiked approx. 6.5 miles! These are a couple of pics of the scenery....it is more pretty in person!
i still haven't mastered the art of sizing pictures. I can't get them the same size.....?? Oh well.

I camped there once, and it was beautiful.
Unfortunately, we pitched our tent in a tic infested area. It was the first week of June.
It was unforgetable, to say the least.

Missus~~ It's near Carbondale Illinois.
It's called Little Grand Canyon. We also went to Giant City. Garden of the Gods is also in southern Illinois. We live in central Illinois and when go to down to the southern part of the state(only a couple of hours or so) it's like a different country!
