Heard from my Brother after 18 years....

I recently heard from my only Brother (No Sisters) http:// after 18 years. We parted ways after my Dad's death. What a waste of life..!He now lives in another state It has only been by phone so far, but it has been very, very, very emotional and I have been just stuffing my face...ever since I spoke to him. (which has been several times) I can't seem to get back in comtrol..I never realized how much I missed him.. :heartpump:

I am so glad that you talked to him! It is a very emotional thing. And kind of scary too. My husband is estranged from both his brother and sister. I know he wants to talk to them but he will not admit it. Just take it one day at a time. It is not going to happen all at once. I wish you the best of luck in renewing your relationship with your brother. That is a very special relationship to have. Even it is just on the phone for a while. It is a step in the right direction.

Awww I am sorry to hear that. But its good that yall are starting to talk again. As for the eating being out of control. Look at it this way- its harsh but.. You need to be around long enough to make things right with him. Mending relationships takes time, so you need to get and stay healthy so you can get that relationship back.
We are all here for you. If you need to vent we will listen! You CAN do this.
