I have to share with anyone who loves shopping and loves to get deals. The background of it all is that I needed 2 dresses for a wedding on New Year's Eve. It is a black tie wedding so I needed to buy a dress for the ceremony and a evening gown for the reception. My first thoughts were great I am going to spend a fortune. I went to Nordstrum's Rack and Loehman's and got 3 dresses, 2 pairs of shoes (Steve Madden and BCBGIRLS) for $150.00. Two of the dresses were orignally $100, I got them for $25 and the shoes were $90 and $60 and I got them for $30 and $19. The formal gown I got for $40 and it was orig. $150.
If you have these stores in you area and love a bargain and hate paying $$$$ for higher end type things, check them out.

Yep, I'm the Bargain Queen. Humm, I don't think we have a Loehmans, but we have Nordstrom Rack at the MOA. I'm going there tomorrow, check em out. I haven't been able to get out of the house for a long, long time, so tomorrow I hope to find something. Thanks for the tip girlie.
Please show us pics of your beautiful bargains. Sounds like you are gonna have mad fun girl. Enjoy.

The Saks 5th Avenue outlet is even cheaper!! I haven't been there in a while because I haven't had to dress up for anything in about 5 years. But a while back I got a $300 dress for $20. It was a one time wear thing because the material was so delicate (it was a 2 layer thing) that it snagged up like pantyhose, but it was so sexy, it was definitely worth $20 for one night.

WTG on those great bargins!!
I LOVE bargins!! When I shop it doesn't matter how much I have to spend I always go straight to the sale racks. I can't stand paying full price for anything and rarely do!!
I also love shopping at Goodwill. The one here in my town is wonderful!! I just got back from there as a matter of fact and I spent under $15 and this is what I purchased....
Old Navy jeans (for son) still brand new w/ tags I paid -$3 (originally $30)
Old Navy shirt (for son) brand new -$2 (originally $15)
A gorgeous Cross wall hanging that had the original tag for $40 I paid $8

I haven't figured out the picture thing yet, if fact I haven't a clue how to use our digital camera. My husband had to get "the best" and it is too darn complicated for me. I had a hard time downloading my MP3 player. I will do my best to get something to try to post.

LOL Bigbonedgirl :) I like your joke. I grew up in Grand Rapids and have since happily been living in a state with a good football team for 8+ years now!
It always puzzles me that most people from Detroit still love B. Sanders. He turned his back on the team and is still worshiped. He11, if he would've stayed and played they may have at some point had a chance. Anyway, it bothers me so I had to voice my opinion.
Anyway-I love bargains. I love auctions. We have great ones around me. I once bought a blueprint copier for $2.50 and sold it on ebay the next week for $1750.00. Gotta love auctions.
Happy New Year!
