sticking out MORE now since I started exercising???
I've got this pouch thing going on and it is driving me crazy.
WTF????
I'm exercising to make it smaller, not more pronounced.
Yes, I'm drinking tons of water (at least 15 8 oz glasses a day), I'm eating small meals about 4-6 times a day, not usually much sodium

I feel the same way... on some days, I feel like it is getting smaller and other days I feel like it is getting bigger by the minute... I dont know the answer... but maybe someone does!

Are you eating a lot more fiber? Do you have gas? I tend to get gas when I have more fiber than my stomach is used to, and that makes my stomach poke out more than usual (which is a lot typically but you know what I mean). Also, you could do 15 million crunches a day, but that is only going to build the muscle, not break the fat down. So you have to do cardio to lose fat.
Good luck.

I do 40 mins on elliptical- every day! And I walk with my daughter 30 mins to 1 hr.
Oh wow, you're from Mobile. I'm originally from Alabama also.
I've noticed a lot of your posts, you really seem to know a lot about losing weight, working out, etc. What do you do?

Thanks for noticing me ;)
I'm actually looking for work now. I just graduated college three weeks ago with a degree in psychology. I took a lot of biology classes (I was pre-med at first and decided I didn't want to be a doctor)and I really liked chemistry. I am the type to get as much information about something as I can before I jump into it (I've probably got like 40 books on fitness and weight loss- you wouldn't know from my weight though)... and have really been doing a lot of soul searching to figure out my food issues. I realized I'm a yo-yo dieter because I have always been able to lose weight, but I always reverted back to my old habits after losing- which is just a waste of time... Last time I lost a lot of weight (two years ago or so) I did weight watchers and went from about 210-220 to 155-160... then I got depressed and got a boyfriend (mostly unrelated issues) and I eat when I'm depressed and I felt I had to cook for my boyfriend because that was how I showed my love for him... Its just annoying b/c he could eat twice as much as me and not gain 1 freakin pound. LoL.
I'm trying to get healthy again, so I can focus on work, taking a few classes before I head off to graduate school next year. Hopefully, I'll get married before grad school- we'll see what Mike does about that :)
Keep doing your cardio. It will work, as much as we all hate doing it. I have to drag my tail to the gym...
Maybe try switching up the program on your elliptical. Like interval with a incline one day and then a random program the next.
Good luck!!
