how much water are you supposed to drink a day?? Today was my first day on Phen and since 8:30 I have drank 3 16.9 fl oz of water. I had a bit of a hunger pain so I took a few bites of sald and ate 2 strips of grilled chicken.. Does the hunger ever go away completely????

my understanding is 8 - 8 oz servings of water (64 oz) but if you are overweight then you are suppose to add more water ? but not sure how much. I've heard drink 1/2 your weight in oz also (if you are 150 pounds - drink 75 oz)
you should get hungry at meal times and you should eat - again this is my understanding that you should get hungry ... but fill up quicker on less ? I have been getting hungry in the afternoon (like RIGHT NOW!!).. ordered some 30 mg that are suppose to be time released - will try them when the arrive and see if it helps with later day hunger :)

You SHOULD be hungry, you NEED to eat. I would suggest, like other people have said many times, eating little small meals every couple or few hours. Phentermine is supposed to curb your appetite, mainly to help you realize that you don't need 3 plates of something to get full, or those cravings for sugary/salty junk can be filled with water and you were not really hungry. Wow, thats a run on statement huh.. lol
In any event, you CANNOT starve yourself. If you do that, your body will go into starvation mode. You will scr3w up your metabolism if you starve yourself.
As for water - I made a decision that I wouldn't end my day without drinking 104 oz of water. I used my word program and made a handle little table for the 7 days out of the week with enough boxes to check off 8 oz at a time. If I drink more, thats fine - but I won't end the day without 104. I have never heard of the 1/2 your weight thing.. but hey 104 is half my starting weight.
Basically, your hunger shouldnt go away completely. You should want to eat, and should learn through phen's help to recognize when you are full enough to push away that plate. You should do your very very best to take in 1200 to 1500 cal a day - as healthy as you can.
Hope this helps some... My first day I could barely look at food without getting nausea - but I just made myself eat salads and special K and carrot sticks, etc.
