I have been afraid to mix any type of MOA with phen. It all plays with your way of thinking. I found a link that has some great information on it.

I have been trying to decide if I want to take the phen or the Zoloft. I am afraid of what could happen if I take both. If the Paxil is for depression, the phen may do the trick. If it is for compulsive behavior disorder or something in those lines, the phen may not do you any good. Try the phen alone for a week and see what you think. I would seriously consider getting more than one professional opinion.

I'm on regular Paxil and am weaning off. I haven't had any problems taking the two as far as adverse reactions. Paxil is known to cause weight gain. I've gained 40 pounds while on it myself-just never thought it could be my Paxil until I learned this recently. I'm losing while I have been on it, but want to see what happens off of it.

Taking SSRI's with phen is supposed to boost its effect(the phen). You can google "phen-pro" for more info. Paxil is the one SSRI that doesn't work that way. Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor...are some that work with phen. If I find I still need an anti-depressant I want to try one of these.

No matter what you decide-DO NOT stop taking your Paxil cold turkey. It's not pleasant to say the least!
