Well, i think the phens wearing off for me. :( Here lately at night the munchies are wanting to take over. And the cravings are starting. I would kill for some fajitas type of cravings. And this really suc5s!!! I knew this was going to happen sooner or later but sheesh! Well i guess this is a good thing, because I will be coming off in a couple of weeks anyway. So, this will be my training stage. I tell ya though it is rough. The doctor is going to put me on wellbutrin to help control cravings on January 7th I think. And I hope that will help out a little. I do normal during the day time, then after dinner it starts. The Holidays haven't helped a bit either. So, you guys need to teach me how to say NO!!!!And slap me backwards if i waiver!!!

You're so dedicated...you'll be fine. You look absolutely amazing! You've come such a long way! You are literally glowing in your most recent picture.
How tall are you?
I've also been wondering if, since you've lost so much weight, you have any extra skin? Or did you have stretch marks? And did they kinda go away?
You're such an inspiration! Keep up the good work!

Hey guys! Thanks so much! I am 5'07 1/2. And as far as the skin issue, Not really a problem here. I definitly owe that to working out alot and drinking all the water. Strech marks are pretty much going away. I have a few hiding, but not visable. I know I can do this too. The cravings, are just that. It does not mean i'm starving it just means my mind needs something else to concentrate on. I just gotta find out what that is!!
Oh and Rene, my Hubs said the same thing about the overalls! First time I have put overalls on at least 20 years!! :)

I feel ya girl. I have the same problem. After dinner I want to snack all night. I was like that at the end of Phen. And I'm like that now. I was always like that. And it is so hard!!! I give in sometimes, but I try so hard not to. You seem to have more will power then me so I think that you will do much better then me. You look so good now. I keep telling myself I want to keep looking like this. And sometimes it works for me. You look so good I must say again. You have done a excellent job. I love looking at your now and before pic. You don't even look like the same person. You will be ok I think. You are a strong woman!!

Hey Miki,
You look awesome!! Got any tips for me? I'm 240 and would like to get down to at least 160. Did you follow any particular eating plan? I would love to be where you are a few months from now.
I'm not new to Phentermine. In fact, the first and only time I ever lost all of my weight it was jumpstarted by Phen. That's been nearly ten years ago!! :( Anyway, now 2 kids later (my youngest is 8 mos.), I'm ready to get back down to where I need to be so I can enjoy my children!!
Any tips that you can give I would appreciate. BTW, good luck on fighting your cravings. I know you can do it!!

Miki... I think that since we were heavy at one time... we got heavy by over eating or eating all the wrong things... I can't see that it's just "that" easy to lose it all without having some slip ups... as long as you keep striving for the goal... which you are just about there.. so you keep striving to maintain then you will be ok. What Determined said about the don't fight em.. feed em... to that... I have to agree.. as long as it doesn't get to be an every day thing... for myself, if I fight it... I get obsessed with it... then I end up binging like mad because I fought against it so hard... if you know what I mean. You've got that strong will that brought you as far as it has.. you'll be able to keep that going I know you will !!!
I've heard wellbutrin is good for maintaining.. so I'm sure that will work for you. :)

Hi Miki!
I agree-- you look soooooo cute in them overalls!! first thing i thought when i seen that pic! :)
You'll be fine! just keep up with what your doing and don't beat yourself up too bad if you DO slip once in awhile! I know how ya feel tho-- i was so worried about what was gonna happen when i stopped taking anything(phen makes me nuts so i had switched to that phetrametrazine spelling???) but then you couldn't get it anymore online so i had to just quit taking ANYTHING alltogether! i did ok for awhile but the last 6 months or so i have been just doing really bad and have put on about 10 lbs! UGH!!!! but as of jan 1st i'm getting back on track with the exercise and water and eating better-- all that fun stuff! LOL!!
Just don't be like me and let the slip turn into a 6 month long slip!!!! :) pick yourself up and start over!
and Kristin you look great too!!!!!!!!

Miki that is such a cute pic of you! I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished. The cravings are going to be hard but if you just set your mind to it you can fight them off. You've done such an amazing job and as long as you keep that in mind I don't think you will have anything to worry about. Good luck to you. :)

Sorry to hear the phen has quit working :(
You have done so well and it will be harder to stick to it but YOU CAN DO THIS!
Your mind set has changed and you no longer want to be that fat girl!
I will be honest it is easier with the phen but that doesn't mean you can't reach your goal. I think the phen helps you with the head issues more then anything.
YOU should really be proud of yourself because you are doing it!

Miki, don't worry you are strong you can fight those damn cravings. In the meantime, what helps me with the night time munchies is: make sure you are prepared for the evening cravings, buy lots of fruit and veggies, wash them and have them ready to pop in you mouth. Also,be certain to keep "good snacks" in the house. Low calorie snacks that will help with the cravings.
I know you will be ok... be strong, as you always are!

I do have plenty of the good stuff in the house, i do worry about eating at night with calories adding up. Even with good for you food theres always calories. So, after dinner time i need to have something to keep me occupied so i'm not thinking about "bad" food. I think i'm going to get a good word search or a book tonight after I workout and maybe that will help out a bit. Today I have been the normal with no cravings, but I know the deamons will come out later and drive me crazy. But thanks for all your kind words. I fear this is only the begining of my anxieties as far as the cravings, and appetite returning. I am hoping to get on the wellbutrin soon, so maybe they will calm the deamons down. My question is has anyone else taken anything after finishing the phen to help with appetite and cravings that actually worked. Like another diet aid or supplements. Not necessarily to help lose weight, but to maintain and control cravings that is non-narcotic, or prescription?
Thanks again for all the support from you guys!! :)

I've definetly noticed over the last few days that if I keep busy then I'm not obsessing over what I'm going to eat... let me get a moment with nothing to do even if just for the moment and BAM I want to see what I can eat...
I think you'll survive Miki.. you've got it in you that's for sure.

Miki, a while back I thought my phen wasn't working anymore. (You may remember me asking you alot of questions about B-12 around that time). After a week or two it just seemed to kick back in. I have NO idea what the deal was with that. What I've been doing lately is taking half in the morning, and half in the early afternoon. It really helps with the late night munchies.

Hey guys, well all is still going pretty good. I have not that hard of a time with the cravings.I have not really changed anything as far as the phen goes. I just have to trick my brain into thinking i'm not hungry and that stuff is BAD for me and I don't really need it.
I had some orange slices and apple slices last night to try to put off the cravings. Seemed to work pretty good. But the scale is boycotting me I think. Still at 160.5. I sooo desperatley want to see the 150's. And the good news is I'm going to see the personal trainer tomorrow at 11am. I am soooo excited. I will def give a full report on that. She said our first meeting would take an hour and a half. She is going to measure me and check my body fat.... Eeeeekkkkk! I hate that part! Last time I had the body pinching thing done was when I was in High school and that really su@k#ed! At curves they measure you and then you have to grip on to this electronic thing that sends pulses I guess throughout your body I think the last check on that I had was 30. So, should be interesting to see the difference.I got measured at the beg of december and waist was at 33 inches I measured it tuesday and it was at 31 inches. So, gooo meee!!
I have already had a busy morning, went to the dentist 1st thing had a permanent crown put on and some bonding on my front teeth to close a gap. Not bad as far as pain, but now just a little bit sore from being so tense.
Other than that alls well!! Today is my Friday, we have tomorrow off!! YIpppppeee!

I am just new to this forum, but reading your posts, seeing your success and looking at your pictures has inspired me greatly. Sounds like you're getting your cravings under control. The fact is - it's all a mindset. You're overcoming it on your own.
Congrats on all you've accomplished and thanks for the inspiration!!
