Thanks,

I was there in '99 and came back pregnant! don't drink the water!
We spent most of the time just walking through the casinos. They are beautiful and Ceasers Palace was my Favorite! just beautiful! We rode the virtual ride they have there and it was cool. I did't gamble much because Ididn't know how at the time which is kinda funny considering my occupation now!
we stayed in a small hotel on the strip because we went over July 4th and everything was booked. The luxor was really neat! I think you will like it! have fun!

Wow!! We went this year for the 4th of July week. I will NOT be doing that again!!! The average temp was about 111. The good thing is that there was no humidity and believe it or not, you get used to the heat! I cannot wait to go again!! We stayed at Treasure Island and had a view of everything. Awesome!! The best buffet that we went to was at the MGM Grand. I can't think of the name of it but it was delicious! I need to go back soon and win back some of the money that I LOST :) I hope you have a wonderful time!! :)

LUCKY!!!
i LOOOOOVVVEEEEE Vegas!!! we stayed at the Luxor when it first opened-- really nice!!! There is so much to do in Vegas-- even if you don't gamble you'll have a ball!!
If you like seafood make sure you go to the Rio All you can eat seafood Buffet!! its pretty $$$ but for all you can eat crab legs!!!! Fugetaboutit!!! :) Last time we went we stayed at the Hard Rock-- Favorite place in Vegas!!! just the right size-- some of those vegas hotels are like mini cities!!!
My hubby is going Jan 17 for a convention with work-- i'm soooooooo jeleous!!!
just a few tips-- keep an eye on your purse at all times-- don't leave it handing on a chair-- allways know where your $$$, chips, that kinda thing are-- i've never had any trouble there-- but hear all kinds of things about pic pockets and scam artists-- see if you can get an in room safe so you don't have to carry all your money with you at once- or utilize the casino's safe deposit boxes--
You'll have a blast!!!

Yep, your gonna have a GREAT time! Me and hubs went in Jan of this year for our honeymoon for a week and had the best time! We stayed in the Stratasphere. We loved it! The luxor is awesome inside and out! Matter of fact I will put up a pic if I can find one. We are going back to vegas Jan 16-23 for our anniversary. We will probably stay at the same place. But, if you want an AWESOME brunch go to Mandalay Bay, they have a Champagne brunch which is to die for! Little pricey, but one of the best buffets we found in vegas. We will def be going back to that one. You will be so surprised at how cheap the food is. January is the perfect time to go to. Perfect temps, make sure to bring a light jacket for night time though. And you will need to go and see the Sirens of Ti I think thats treasure island and the Bellagio water show. Both very good. I will pm you with more info later tonight!!

Me and my family are going Feb of next year. The bes place to eat is the Rio.Be careful they have two buffet's,the seafood one and the regular one.I have eaten several times at the Startosphere's Top of the world it's expensive but the food is great and the you get a view of vegas the room rotates so you can see all of Vegas.I'll send you a pm later to tell you more things to visit,it depends on what you like to do and how long you will be there. We have a time share there, but in the past I have stayed at the MGM Grand,Rio &Stratosphere. We go to Vegas every year I only live 2 1/2 hours away(driving that is)Pm RNMOMMA she lives in Vegas.I can't wait until we leave only 2 months away.

I have stayed at Ballys and MGM. My favorites are Mandalay Bay and New York New York. Cant decide which I will stay at, (quietly - probably NYNY because they have better food, but I'm not supposed to tell yal that)
You will love it you will have a great time. Leave your credit cards and pawnable jewelry at home :D

I've stayed at the Aladdin, Treasure Island, Mandalay Bay, and New York New York. I think I liked the Aladdin best out of them. We saw "O" at the Bellagio, which is the best Cirque du Soleil show (not that I've seen all of them, but the water affects are amazing). REally pricey at $100 a ticket, but so worth it. My mom and I will never forget it. I also saw Mystere, but it wasn't as spectacular as "O". I like the shops in Caesar's Forum, and they have a Cheesecake Factory there which I love. Watch out for all the guys/girls handing out porm booklets along the strip at night (during the day too I think). They can be really pushy, and it's all crap. Vegas is great - it can get cold in the winter time though. We also took a day trip to the Hoover Dam, and that was really interesting. The rollercoaster in New York/New York is fun, as is the one on the Stratosphere (on top of the building). You get to see all the Vegas lights. The mall on the other side of Treasure Island has been completely redone and has some great stores (pretty pricey though). Have a great time! There's no place like Vegas! The airport is even cool with the slot machines in the gates.

Thanks guys! You are all making me so excited to go! The food sounds awesome but I am dreading the weight gain! Just hearing about it makes me gain weight! Just kidding! Anyways, thanks a bunch!

Oh yes, the coolest part is the slot machines at the airport. I actually hit on one of those while waiting for my plane!
