I am going to copy and paste from my other posts so you can see how busy we have been!

I miss you all so much! There has been so much going on in my life and I have tried keeping all of my sites updated I haven't had a chance in posting here so I thought the best way was to copy from sites that I have posted and copy and paste here so here has been the story of my life!

Let me update you on the happenings of my "home shelter" tee hee hee! :blabla:

Ladies, I need to aprise you of some things that are going on in my town...We are accepting many of them wonderful individuals and families that have been affected by hurricane Katrina. At this point I believe we have sheltered over 3000 individuals to my knowledge and it sounds like approx 300 students will be enrolling into our public school system beginning tomorrow. In my personal home with lots of prayer and discuccion among the family, we have accepted three seperate families into our home. I have NEVER known so many beautiful, strong individuals that I have come to know personally as I have seen in the last three days. We have a 2 year old baby boy and mother, a young lady without her 2 children, an a woman who was all alone until I was able to locate her husband in Austin, Texas and drove at 1:00am this morning and hooked up with some awesome friends who picked him up at the shelter he was located and met me half way. I got home at 4:15am this morning with this ladies husband and we were able to locate their 12 year old daughter in Louisanna earlier today. I am in the process of seeing that arrangements are currently being made for her arrival ASAP! Can you just imagine the tragedy everyone is going through. This has truly affected the entire nation! Please take a moment of silence and reflect upon the most important things to you in your life...your loved ones! I just wanted to let you all know what was happening on my end and please keep us in your prayers. I have come to enjoy and love each and everyone of you...I'll post in the morning, I am so exhausted right now, I just can't think anymore, honestly!

Alright last you heard from me I had retrieved the husband of one of the ladies the I had retrieved from the shelter. Since then, the father and I jumped on an airplane from Corpus Christi to Houston and made our way to the bus station and awaited the arrival of his mother in law and 12 year old daughter that we had researched and located in a shelter in Larosse, Louisanna. After 15 hours of school bus travel they had arrived and finally reunited. We then made our way back to Houston Hobby Airport and arrived at 1:30 am so therefore we were out of luck for leaving towards home until 7:50 am. To say the least sleeping in an airport is pretty near impossible. I got in at 9:00 am and arrived home reunited the entire family. At this point, took a huge deep breathe, jumped in thje shower, dressed for work and arrived to school, and was able to make a scheduled meeting by 2:00pm. Left the meeting at 4:30pm headed home, showered dressed and went to bed. Today, was able to make my normal routine in scehdule worked out on the treadmill, walked only 3 miles, have made my water goals, and now checked in with you all, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
So moral of the story, Drill Sargeant is back, after all we've been through in America and still managing to keep our heads afloat all I have to say is, "I'M BACK!"

We have since added an additional amount of evacuees. All three families have been reunited and are living happy, healthy, and free of fear in our home. We are not hungry we are not afraid and we will survive. God is good and is looking over each of us. I may not have all of the money in the world, but I have a heart and I am an American, if our doggone government is gonna be acting up then, we strong will overcome this. Continue your prayers and God will guide each and everyone of us and give the strength to endure the ugliness. Blessings to all of you and thanks for your support!
