Hey all you wonderful and gorgeous people...
please let's not fight...that is what the MEDIA wants us to do!!
That's why we call CNN the "communists news network"
They are ba$tards. They all want us to fight between black and white, poor versus the rich.
We can't turn back the hands of time. They're are alot of people that will pay for making bad decisions too...trust me, they will get theirs...what goes around comes around.
Yes...there IS racism living in America...but let's not make it worse please...
My son is bi-racial...and I love everyone. Please let's not bring more hate in this world because I want my son to live in a better world then I did and I am afraid for him becuase I get treated nasty and looked down upon by whites and blacks because of my son, and my black man.
IT DOES EXIST! and until people feel it for themselves...they are blind to the subject.
Let's just please all stick together though okay???
PLEASE???? I LOVE YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS AMERICA

P.S. what I meant when I said looked down upon I mean that racism is TWO sided.
I get DIRTY looks from white people (mostly white men, and older white people) because I have a black son, and I get DIRTY looks from black people (mostly black women...just being honest) for having a black boyfriend.
I was stationed in Mississippi at Keesler AFB for a year, I gambled many times at the casinos that are now across the highway...and I was afraid to walk around holding hands with my black boyfriend due to all of the racism there and their rebel flags...
BUT RACISM IS TWO SIDED...there is the KKK there and also the Black Panther Party.
IT ALL NEEDS TO STOP!!! ITS ALL IGNORANCE!!!
We need to love everyone...there is no white race or black race...WE ARE THE HUMAN RACE now lets stick together ya'll!!!

well put... im white and my sons father is black and its tough but when your in love, love has no color... america is the best place in the world to live and we do have the best government,im not agreeing with gwb but im greatful i live here and not in iraq or somewhere where i couldnt leave my home without being covered from head to toe. its amazing to me, i live in detroit michigan and biracial relationships arent as welcomed as when i lived in los angeles i just hope that when my wonderful son brings home a woman be it, black white or whatever they wont have the b.s that we have, and look how far its come since the 60's.... we should all be greatful for what we have now and look for a better future, not whats in the past.
peace and love,
angie

You are right...people are missing another point that atleast we are trying to save our people. If it had been in another country where there is not 10.5 Billion dollar budget, or American Red Cross, or loving families, or rich celebrities or telethons...would people still complain? let's look at the positive now and not the negative, we can't change the past (this includes me too, I need to start looking at the positive sides of things becuase this whole situation made me cry and mad too).

ive been in tears for days, im a stay at home mom so i watch alot of t.v (and i wonder why my *** is 228 lbs) lol anyway.. i watched oprah today and it hit home so much for me, some friends of mine and myself are going to have a bottle and can drive, we are putting flyers at local business and houses and will collect them at my nephews elementary school and the kids in the neighborhood are going to have a kool-aid stand, what else can we do? if i didnt have my son, id be down south handing out water and food or whatever the red cross needed me to do, im ashamed at alot of my fellow americans for the way they acted, i understand that emotions are high but there is plenty of time for that when everyone is rescued and reunited with their families.....i cant sleep this phen is keeping me up all night i dont like it right now, my son will be up in a few hours.

I wish I could do more. I have given only $200 to the American Red Cross, and all Justin's (my son's) baby clothes to the Katrina Hurricane Relief fund...I hope that helps someone in need. Wish I could do more and I am feeling guilty that I can't....

I love that you used the word ignorance. It's sad. You would think in this day in age we wouldn't have the racism we do in this country. Maybe in the upcoming years it will be better. Is this wishful thinking? I sure hope not.

People need to find better use of their time instead of pointing the finger on who should be blamed for what... Maybe the time can be used to help the victims... I wish they would send some over here to Canada-were here with open homes and hearts!!!! I will be sending over baby clothes for the families as well as donations, but would love to help out more... :heartpump:

You all are doing such a fabulous job...I am so proud of each and everyone of you for the love, and support you have of one another! I love all babies, whether they are black, white, brown, purple like Barney the Dinosaur or blue like the Smurfs...God is good to each and everyone of us here on earth and we were His chosen mothers and have been given the gift of His child on earth through borrowed time. I am just sick with the pains and anger that is surfacing. I have a post myself titled ..I have 3 seperate families...please read it. We are doing all that we can do within ourselves. Keep up the AWESOME work of our precious Lord, Jesus Christ! We all need to be strong and endure the pains being brought forth, don't think of not doing enough, be proud of opening yourselves and aiding these vitims, these humans, these Americans! You all are beautiful and strong, through Gods will, we will see peace on earth as all evil is being exposed and the bad will not survive! I can guarantee that myself!!!! And I know you will agree! God Bless you All!

I have 3 beautiful little biracial angels and cant imagine how people can look at someone and treat them differently because of their color. I just wish Katrina hadnt happened all together. Its a tragedy to watch the poor families lose their homes, family members, pets, belongings etc
I dream of a day when there is NO racisim but I dout that will be anyday soon. I pray that my children grow up in a world where people judge them by their personality, accomplishments, actions and heart rather than their skin or heritage. Its heart breaking to watch the news lately. My sister and aunt is in Texas right now. They went with their husbands to take a truck load of things down to a few shelters. I wish I could have went but my priorities are with my 3 children. I have donated money and supplies but could never touch the tip of the iceberg of what these people really need.
I just hope this tragedy has made people see how devistating and real something like this can be for people of ANY color. Should it ever happen again I would like to believe our so called government will be prepared to handle the aftermath alittle quicker and more professionally. My prayers are with the Katrina survivors and the not so lucky.

Ladies you keep holding your heads high. You love your children you love your men, you love yourself, and you have a place in your heart for the people around you. My hat off to you! :heartpump: :heartpump: :spider_red:
As for what you donatted to katrina fund $200 is alot of money, and every $1 counts. My work is collecting donations for the american red cross, and they also do matching money for any donations the employees make, so every donation know how big or small counts. As long as your giving from your heart.
I live in central FL, and we went through 4 hurricanes last season, and you would think that the people around here would especially feel for those people and help, but you would be surprised at the number of people that don't donate even one simple dollar. After every sale my emps say "{ would like like to donate a dollar to the american red cross Katrina Relief fund." I hear no not now, or maybe next time, one lady even sai"we went through it and who helped ud?" I so wanted to put that lady in her place. Yeah we went through some pretty bad stuff last year, but most all of us here still have homes, or were able to repair them quickly, and FEMA was here. These people lost everything their homes their jobs, their entire cities and towns, and worst of all their family memebers and friends.
Ok I need to stop I am just making myself mad now. God Bless all of you here, and God be with everyone in the gulf coast area's

I lived in a small multi-racial country - Singapore. We don't have any "color" system and whether we inter-married or not, the problem is always religion and NOT COLOR... But when I was in the State and some "MAJORITY WHITE" countries, I do get "special treatments" sometimes... Just wonder why?
God is the creator of all of us and we are create equal. But somehow... somewhere along the way, some people just decided that their color are more superior... Geee... never mind...
Hope this board is "color blind" ... LOL...

Jasper, color blind, I dont see different colors here. I see people who are pretty special. I agree we are all the same. My mom once told me that the difference between the color of the skin is being in the oven alittle longer. (Oven, referring to pregnancy) I kinda remembered that, thought it was cute.
No one is more superior than another. We just need a little bit of rainbow in this world. ;)
Love ya all :heartpump:

Aren't mixed babies beautiful?
I may be a little biased though.
I have one and I am one.
I'm mixed black/white, and my daughter's father is Mexican.
I don't even think about race until someone asks me what my 'nationality' is. They really seem to get irked when I tell them I'm American.
(Oh, I have some Cherokee blood too)
I've been mistaken for Israeli Jewish, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Italian, Greek, Eygptian, and Russian. In L.A. puerto ricans actually accused me of ignoring my heritage when I told then I didn't know spanish! Man, that's funny...

Geee Gemmyrose, like your postee... Guess nationality means "what is your citizenship" right? Over here we have all races and a portion have mixed heritage and we are all Singaporean regardless of race, language or religion (our pledge - we recite that every morning when in schools)
Cheers!! Let love one another (our blood are the same, isn't it?)

Know this that there will be no black or white in Heaven. When some will get it, we'll never know. I love you all!
