Hello
I am new to this site, 2 days new and i have been so touched by this catastrophe down south, im glued to the tv (if im not working out) and ive been racking my brain to see what I can do as an american. I am a single mom raising a 6 month old son, im limited, i dont have alot of money but a friend and I were so inspired by Oprah that we came up with the idea to make flyers and put them around our neighborhood for a bottle and can drive (in michigan its a .10 refund) and have a drop off at my nephews school next sunday, it is going to be big, i can feel it, and with our communities help, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. She also has put up a donation box at the bar where she works for the red cross, were hoping to send a few thousand dollars in the next few weeks. My neice and nephew want to have a lemonade stand and send money. All this fighting about government and such just burns my ***. We the people of the united states also need to do our part even as little as a lemonade stand will help the suvivors so if you can do anything lets hear about it, lets see some positivity from all of our race.. the human race.

peace and love,

angie

Should of, could of, but didn't. Lets not continue focusing on that. Now it's time to help out. Doing something small will turn into something very big to the people you are reaching out to. Bickering about racism and who should have done what is not helping anyone. Donate! Donate a dollar. Donate anything. Just donate.
