I read the locked post..I fell the same way she does,and I will not bite my tongue on a message board I feel the same way I did when I posted my comment.As far as fact V my eyes have not seen and neither have yours about the rapes etc..so you should not be stating things you don't know either.I too have family in the military over there now and that's their JOB.So just because your white husband is going over there and others does not mean this country doesn't have race issue.Also I was not PULLING the race card I was DELT it.I feel bad for EVERYONE over there.

just because her white husband is there means nothing about racism. just because your black relatives are over their doing their jobs means nothing about racism. why don't you stop bringing up people's race? people keep ASSUMING that if the people were white they would have been rescued "so much faster." you don't know that. i think they did the best they could with what they had to work with after it was too late. the levees were not reinforced and THAT is the main problem. do you know how many wealthy white people called new orleans their home? and the colleges and all the people that come from there? i am going to go ahead and assume that the country is racist towards new orleans. not black or white. just the people who live in new orleans because they didn't reinforce those levees. they knew what could happen and didn't do it. this is ridiculous.

BTW - thanks kittie and to the 14 PM's I got regarding all of the support and comments on the "haters" you are right,they DO like us to go round and round so lets just let them spin themselves into destruction themselves....they are doing a pretty good job of it already.No more beating a dead horse here!! Thanks for all of the kind comments and well wishes for my hubby too. He leaves tomorrow we don't really know how long yet, hopefully he will be back within a month or so.
