Hello! I've been on Phentermine for 10 days, and I've lost 4 pounds. But I can't sleep worth a hoot! Is this normal?
And also even though I lost 4 pounds I have this fear that it isn't going to work for me. What is THAT? I'm exercising my little patootie off, I've increased my treadmill to 2 miles a day, 17 minutes each mile, and that's progress for me.
I guess I'm just wondering...does it ever NOT work? And will I get my sleep back? Thanks!

Hey Welcome to the forum....you may want to post at the main forum so everyone gets to know you. I don't think many people check in these other forums on a regular basis. As far as your questions of sleeping...when do you take the phen. I take mine very early in the morning (4:30am) and I haven't had any problems sleeping. Also many of the side affects wear off in a couple of weeks.

Hi Susabella. :) I work nights as a nurse in a hospital and I have really had to modify when I take my Phentermine in order to get sleep and all. I give myself cut off times for the Phentermine in order to accomodate a good night's/days sleep. I have lost almost 20 lbs in 3 weeks and I know the first week I lost 5 lbs of what I call "water weight". And since then, I don't have the bloating feeling. I drink plenty of diet tea and eat my smaller portions of meals and the only sweet things I treat myself to are
grapes, watermelon, sugar free items. What kind of schedule do you have for work?
It's also hard for me to eat at work so I supplement with a drink from Herbal Life. It has the protein in it I need and is low in calories and carbs. This works for me anyways. :p
I haven't had time to even exercise but I plan to start "toning" up a bit this week.
I'm not sure if this helps you or not. Just hang in there. :D
