Ok, sometime after I take my phentermine I feel a rush of nauseau (lasts about 5 minutes) and I get cold sweats. Now, it's short enough that it doesn't bother me too much, but other effects do.

My stomach always feels...rotten...which may be cuz of my acid reflux problem, but I don't remember when it started. I know I only have bowel movement like once a week since I started taking this.

The worst is my attitude. I have become so lethargic. I cry everday, which my antidepressants used to control, but now it's an everyday thing. I feel like I'm in a funk. I don't know if it's me or the phentermine.

Here's my regimen:
Morning (before breakfast)
1 Multi-Vitamin
1 30 Mg capsule Phentermine
1 1000mg B-12 vitamin
1 Rantidine (acid reflux)

Afternoon (before lunch)
1 Multi-Vitamin
1 30 Mg capsule Phentermine
1 5-HTP pill

Night
1 100mg Zoloft (anti-depressant)
1 Orthocyclen (birth control)
1 Rantidine (acid reflux)

Ideas? Do these things happen to anyone else?

Solidarity,

Hello, I am replying to your concern about the side effects you are having. First of all it sounds like you are taking an awful lot of pills in one day. I am not a Doc. but I was having a lot of the same symptoms. Here's what I would do:
Morning take your Phen-multi vitamin and your Rantidine. In the afternoon I would only take the HTP and cut out the second dose of Phen and multi vitamin. In the evening I would only take my Birthcontrol and the Rantidine. Was your second dose of Phen perscribed to you? I know a lot of people take more than one a day, but I think a lot of people have problems doing that and have cut back to one a day. Also, taking 2 multi vitamins a day is too much. One is the reccomended % value for a day. Taking 2 of these along with 2 phen is probably your problem with bowel movements too! I only take 1 37.5 a day and I have the same problem. Also on the Zoloft, I took that for like 2 weeks and had the same emotional problems you describe. I would talk to your Doc about getting something else. Zoloft made me crazy!! I now take Sarafem, and It is much better.
Like I said I am not a Doc, but these are the things I would try and see if it helps you out any! Hope This helps you any.
Have a good day.

Try eating a banana when you feel nauseated. I had the same problem with the nausea and when I ate a banana, I felt 100% better. I was told by my MD that a lack of potassium or low potassium triggers nausea.
