on this drug. I am glad to know it is normal. Even though I asked the pharmacist and she said it should cause extreme happiness not anxiety. ;) jerjen99@surfbest.net

Hi! I just wanted to reply about your question. Phentermine is known for making some people jittery or anxious.
I does it to me as well, but after a month or so it diminishes. I try to pay attention to how I am acting and what is getting on my last nerve and remember that it is probably the phen. A couple of deep breaths help. Or a dose of xanax(hahaha).
I hope this helps

Hi Jaradsmommy!
The pharmacist says it should cause "extreme happiness"? I want that pill, LOL!
Actually, (I'm not an expert, can only speak from mine & my friends' experiences)it's a stimulant, everyone has different reactions to it, at different times of the day, different times of the month, LOL.
Me, I don't get extremely anything. Actually, by 5PM, I am extremely crabby & grumpy, quick to anger & frustration, but if you ask my hubby & kids they'd say I did that BEFORE phen, haha. Also, some get paranoid...
