Maybe it's just me, but I notice that since I started taking phentermine, I've been biting my lips and the inside of my mouth like crazy! Perhaps its a coincidence! Did this happen to anyone else?

I HOPED it was the phen that was causing this. I've been doing it for months. It's like a little private obsession. I have to bite the same spot on the very tip of my tongue. How weird!!

Okay, I feel better that it is not just me!!! I have been biting the inside of my cheek and it doesn't matter which side. It is really aggrevating too, because I try and stop then bam, I'm doing it again!!! I feel retarded. My husband asks, what are you eating, and why are you twisting up your mouth like that?? I wish I could stop! I thought it may be the phen because that is when I started doing it.

When my son started taking celexa and concerta, he started chewing on his bottom lip and the insides of his cheeks like crazy...
The doctor actually warned me before he started the meds that he might do that. He explained that when his mind is buzzing a mile a minute, he never slowed down to even concentrate on anything but what was right in front of him.
But now that he's on these meds, his mind has been able to come down to oh...a fast 4th gear and he picked up these funny little habits. It did taper off quite a bit, but I still catch him doing it sometimes.
Maybe phen has the same effect?
