I've been on phen for 6 months now. Taking 30 mg. caps. I've lost 25 pounds and even though phen is not as effective in hunger control it still helps me with cravings. I've noticed over the last month that my hair has thinned out a lot. I now have a patch on the top of my head approx. 3 inches long and 3/4 to 1 inch wide. where I've lost hair and new stubble is growing in. I'm really scared and don't know if I should immediately stop the phen or continue since the hair is growing back. Has anyone experienced hair loss and continued with phen? Did the hair grown back, when? I've read on some of these boards that once you see hair loss the harm has already been done and that stopping the phen will not make a difference. I'm afraid that I'll lose more hair if I don't stop the phen. I have about 30 more pounds to lose. I have started eating more protein and taking vitamins which I hadn't been doing. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much for any help!

Hi Jen!! I too am losing hair due to the Phen. I use to never have a problem with my hair falling out. I take viatamins and recently went to a salon to see if they had anything that would help. I worry about losing all my hair. Luckily my hair is really thick and I can continue on the Phen for awhile before it gets to bad. I did buy some stuff at the salon... its called Nioxin and I've started using it. I'll let you know if it helps any. Someone on here suggested Rogain for women. If mine continues to fall out I may try that. I've only been on Phen for 1 month and I want to continue taking it. Best of luck and hopefully one of us will find something to help our hair loss.
