I have read that some people do drink while on phentermine. My question is, can you drink while on this med or is it really bad for you. I read that phentermine can react very badly with alcohol and if it WERE that bad, wouldn't it say on the bottle not to take with alcohol? I drink on the weekends, when I go out, and I am concerned.

Hi!
I am really new at this, but I had taken Phen around lunch time one day and then had 2 margaritas that night and had no problem. I only take 1/2 dose per day until I am sure I can handle the full dose or when I will start getting hungry or not been able to control myself from "bad foods".
I guess every person is different...
I would drink very cautiously and definitely not overdo it. Besides alcohol are really empty calories!
