 I have been taking Phen since November of 2000. So far, I have lost 60 pounds. I have about 40 more to go. I've had my ups and downs with it. About the last week, around mid-morning, I get so EXHAUSTED that I can't keep my eyes open. I have to lay down and rest about 2 hours. Then, when I wake up I am so HUNGRY. Has this happened to anyone else? I will be going back next week to see the doctor about this. I currently take a compounded Phen. of 40 mg. Suggested would be great. EXHAUSTEDHUNGRY null

It is nice to know someone else out there is feeling the same way I am. You described the same thing I am experiencing exactly. The only difference with me is that I have only been taking it for 3 weeks and have felt this way virtually the entire time. I have lost 15 pounds in those 3 weeks which is very nice. I am beginning to feel useless around the house though and I was hoping to be more on top of things for my husband and my daughter. I am eating 3 small meals a day to a total of about 1000 calories and I take one morning dose of 30milligrams Phentermine. I would eat more but I just don't have the appetite for it. I am not exercising either. I just wanted to let you know for moral support, sorry I don't have any suggestions, I could use some too. Have a great day!

I'm right underneath you in the forum I too have problems with tiredness and eating too much. Its funny when I first started a 14 months ago, I had no problem with hunger I was on the go, and getting things done, drinking all my water, excercising, but now its like, I can't figure it out. I can take the 30 mg in the morning right after coffee, get a few jitters from the coffee/phen mix and not feel hungry. But then I start feeling tired, by mid afternoon I'm real hungry and after its way wore off in the evening I'm hungry again. I have been trying to figure out how to counter the effects cause I tried just quitting the phentermine and even felt sleepy, so I called some pharmacists to ask them. They said that yes it was addictive, psysh, and physically and that it loses it's effectiveness over time. They told me to take half pills for a couple of months to get my body unused to it. Well I still want to lose weight and want to take them just don't know how to get it to work again. The only other thing I tried was taking a little more ( I still ate alot) or a little less (still ate alot). My last possible explanation is that I am having PMS CRAVINGS AND they aren't going to be taken by the phen. What do you guys think? any ideas. please HELP THIS IS FRUSTRATING..
