I'm new to the group. I've been taking 30mg Phent capsules for 45 days. One day I took 2 capsules instead of one and later in the day a few irritable papilla on the surface of my tongue swelled and turned white. Within 12 hours I had multiple (at least 10) small sore masses of these things growing. They all turned kinda yellowish and were fibrous. There was a line up of them, all seperate around the outer ridge of my tongue. Excuse the reference but it reminded me of a hemmorhoid. I stopped taking the Phent and within 2 days they were almost gone. Any thoughts? null

Hey, I haven't had the tongue problem, but I bumped up a post with lots of people that have. Also, try posting in the My experience with Phentermine section...there's a lot more traffic in there.

Hey Jack! Just one word for you- VITAMINS!If you read the final entry in the post that lizard bumped up- you can see when I got relief. I KNOW this was a deficiency now. The multi-vitamin I was taking sure helped a lot. But, I started studying my diet and nutrition and now I take other vitamins as well. This symptom is a sign of deficiency of vitamin B-6 and vitamin B-12. You might want to look at your diet and nutritional intake to see how much of these you are getting. I am not trying to diagnos your condition- just telling you what I have found. Ask your doctor about it. Just as with drugs- medications- you can overdose on vitamins just like anything else, so be careful. I was not getting even near the RDA. I also have to take other vitamins as well. Taking these vitamins has taken away most all of my side-effects. I still have insomnia-but not as bad. I still suffer depression- but not as bad. The dry mouth, I still have and just as bad but I still am taking Adipex and the water pill, so it is understandable. I have had no problem with my tongue since I began the vitamins. Check into it.
