I am working until 7pm, then I have to be back at work at 9am New Years Day. So, no parties for me this year. Which is fine, I lead a pretty tame life. Everybody who is going out: Have a great time and drive safe!

PARTY AT MY HOUSE! It is a tradition to have New Year's party at my house each year. All our friends bring their sleeping bags and spend the night. We all crash in the rec room - like a giant slumber party for grown-ups!
Fun stuff! LOTS TO DO to get this house ready! UGH!

Hmmmm, not too sure. We were planning on going out to Primm and do the roller coaster & stuff and watch the fireworks that way Katie could also join in, but the cash flow doesnt look too good since my car was in the shop a week before Christmas and costed me close to $500....so....probably going over to a friend of my hubby's to hang out which I don't really want to do (darn my shyness around people I don't know)......and then step outside to see the fireworks from the strip since they don't live too far from there. Option one is what I really want to do....but I'll probably be over the hubby's friends house....GRRRR....we were invited to a co-workers of mine who is having a party tomorrow night and I'd love to do that......but he'll end up chosing his friends house. Oh well....either way is better than last years! Happy New Years!

We'll be headed over to Mama Corrinne's for rack of lamb...and I'm sure black eyed peas. I'm making lemonade party cake (don't ask how many cals!! It's my last night before the new challenge!!). We're also bringing Sparkling White Grape Juice...cause we don't drink alcohol. Them or us. And yea this is tame, but compared to the last few years of having sick kids keep us up way past midnight with their crying and or vomitting I figure this is gonna rock!!
My hubby was so funny...tonight he says...what are we doing with the kids when we go over to Corrinne's. I looked at him with that..."what do you think we're doing with them?" look and said..."they're going with us!!" He seemed kind of surprised....Corrinne loves my kids...I got no mom...she is my replacement mom and ya-ya sister too...and she adores my kids and thinks they're wonderfully behaved. (she's got a house out of any southern living magazine.) Husbands...gotta love them. well...you don't GOTTA love 'em....but I gotta love mine!! What did he think we were gonna do with them?? Put'em to bed and go party?? ;)

My hubby's brother and family are here, my brother and family are coming...We will play a card gamed called 31 and let the kids run around until they drop then hug and kiss everyone at midnight. Hubby makes the most AWESOME food...not sure what is on the menu this year...last year it was a calamari, shrimp and a sausage dish (he is Italian).
Happy New Years!
