I just checked airfare for nashville
and its $148.00 RT now thats a good deal.
Course that depends on where you live.
I couldnt get any information on the
Operland Hotel. Thought maybe Luv could
check in to it. Problem is there is
no dates............

Opryland Hotel is WAY overated!!!!and much too expensive I have done a bit of checking and there is a La Quinta Inn close to me and I think the rates are moderate ....$72.99 for 2 people...and with it being close to my house we could all do dinner and hang out here...it's not big at all but I like to think it's cozy and would love to have any and all of you here :) ...
Also we could all go walk at Radnor lake weather permitting...beautiful place....

We will drive down, but probably will drive back the same night (3 or 4 hours) but we could always stay with a friend in Bowling green or his family in glasgo, ky....SO....let us know when it is because we are planning to try and go to Seattle in March too! Hurry up with the dates already! LOL!

Hey Everyone!

The dates are the weekend of March 22-23, 2003. You can decide when you want to arrive/leave around that date. Ann and I haven't started planning yet but I would like to do some kind of get together on Saturday afternoon to evening and maybe on Sunday do some sight seeing as a group. I plan on getting there Thursday evening and staying until Monday.

Southwest Airlines has killer deals but you have to watch their website almost daily. They do "feature cities" and you can get the best deals. Bren32 already got her tickets - they featured her city (New Orleans) and she got tickets to Nashville round trip for around $70!

I am going to copy my post and reply to the other Nashville thread. EVERYONE is welcome!

hey ya know what guys... I just might make it. Im going to check with my dad and see if hell keep the girls all weekend.. and check the airfare from SA... I would really love to go.. Havent had a vacation without kids yet! And it happens to be right after income tax refund time.. lol

I found a fare on AA for 200... cheap compared to everything else I saw. I would get there at 4pm on Friday and come back sunday at 2pm. Dose that sound okay? I am still going to check other sites for a few days I just wanted to know who else would be there on Friday??

Will we be staying somewhere near the airport? I dont really want to rent a car and I dont want to be a burden on anybody. I dont know how this sort of thing works! Please help!

Also i think alot of the hotels offer airport shuttles... which i'll need to take too.. so guys when you are planning the hotel could you keep that in mind too???

Hey all!

Luv and I were going to chat on the phone and get some ideas going before doing all the Nashville posts...we ran into a delay when my cousin died right before Thanksgiving and then the holidays.

Luvwater lives in Nashville - if anyone else would like to coordinate with her that would be fine too...I kind of took it up after the Charlotte group (gsleader, bebemom, hotmama, ameriworks, mellie, and me) thought Nashville would be a good place.

I'm game for anything and plan on being there from Thursday evening through Monday morning. Feel free to start polls to get ideas or whatever...I've been really busy at home and work and haven't been on the site as much as I use to...

Hey Nancy! Doesnt look like it will conflict if we do go to seattle in March! If we go, it will be over his spring break which would probably be the second week, and nashville is only the weekend, so we should be good to go! I would love it if you came to see my neck of the woods! how fun this will be!!!! :D :D :D
